I have loved ASUS for quite a while. I bought this one, because my old ASUS was taking forever with emails, internet related items, and more. I thought the computing power on this computer would make everything faster. This computer is not as good as my last ASUS. Beyond that, it is slow, has the same issues the old ASUS had. All I use this for is Work, Excel, Adobe, Outlook and Zoom.

A little heavy, doesnt overheat, amazing screen quality. In love with it, using it as a work computer & game casually , very straightforward.

Over the G-16 Zephyrus is a very good laptop i play high end games so the 16gigs of ram is on the low side it boots fast and gives me mid range frames i will be putting in 32gigs more ram and a 1gig M.2 the 512 M.2 it comes with will not last long in 2024. So upgrading is a must if you want to push thing more.

Pretty nice laptop, runs loud but is cool if you tune the settings right. Had weird issues with the keyboard randomly not working but it fixes itself after some time.

Runs every game on high without issue, do yourself a favor and remove all the ASUS bloatware. Was really easy to remove bottom panel and add second M.2 drive. Can only install one RAM module, the other is soldered to the motherboard.

Great Laptop handles everything great...could have better cooling as it does get a bit hot, hotter than i remember my 3070 Zepyhrus getting but not too bad Otherwise its perfect

The laptop is great but I would recommend upgrading another stuck of ram to get the best experience as it comes with only 1 stick of 16gigs. Still going strong after 7 months

I really tried to give this laptop a chance. Tried 3 different ones!!. 1. First one I tried was an open box one. It was working fine, but when I tried to register it for the warranty, I wasn't able to because the person who returned it had registered. I tried talking with ASUS to provide a receipt and at least get a partial warranty, but no luck. 2. I bought a new one then. I was very happy with it since it has an open slot for RAM and Storage expansion, so I went ahead and did that. I had no issues with the RAM, but I had issues with the additional storage not always appearing after turning the computer on. Or sometimes disappearing after. I was able to figure out that the drive was only disappearing whenever the laptop was plugged in to the charger. I tried a different NVME drive to make sure that it wasn't defective, but had the same issues. I checked the BIOS to make sure the drive was being recognized (it was) and I initialized the drive manually as well. 3. I returned that one and got a another one (New). This time, I'm still having the same results with the Nvme drive, and on this one, the dedicated graphics card is not recognized. I checked the BIOS and could see that it recognized the hardware, but was the OS loaded, nothing. Couldn't even open nvidia's control panel because it did not recognize that the hardware was installed.

I picked up this laptop on sale for 500 dollars off and its been a great deal. Specs werent great but I uograded the ssd and the ram and now its a beast:

After a lot of research we decided to go with this gaming laptop. It ticks every box a gamer is looking for. Easy to set up and the price was good for all the specs it had. I would highly recommend!

Fans sound like an airplane and they do not cool at all. Keyboard is bad and very sticky keys.

I’ve had it for a few months now I like it, but the only bad part is the battery. They battery lasts for 5 hours but charging it only take an hour.

I mean it’s an Rog so my expectations was high and it was up to my expectations. Tbh the sound quality is great.

Features / Specs: ● Screen: 16" FHD, 165Hz ● Processor: Intel 13th Gen Core i7 ● Memory: 16GB ● Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 ● Storage: 512GB SSD ● Color: Eclipse Gray Performance: This laptop is a powerhouse. Whether you're diving into long gaming sessions or tackling heavy-duty tasks, the combination of the Intel 13th Gen Core i7 and RTX 4070 GPU makes everything run smoothly. Display: For me, the 16-inch Full HD screen is a great size to game and watch videos on. The colors pop and the 165Hz refresh rate is great for any fast-paced game. It’s smooth and responsive, but it's not very bright. It also doesn’t dim as low as I would like. Design: I like the Eclipse Gray finish and the dotted design. It looks sleek, subtle and stylish without screaming "gamer". Plus, it's surprisingly light and thin for such a powerhouse. Small enough to toss in a medium sized bag and take anywhere. Features: The keyboard comes with customizable RGB lighting, which adds a fun touch. It's got all the ports you need: HDMI, 2x USB-A, 2x USB-C, Headphone Jack, Ethernet port, and power lock. The cooling system keeps everything running cool, even during long gaming sessions, but it does create a bit of noise (not much of a problem to me) Battery Life: For a gaming laptop, the battery life is pretty decent—around 8 hours depending on what you're doing. It's enough to get through a day of work or school with some gaming breaks in between, though you'll want to plug in for those longer gaming sessions. Pros: ● Powerful Intel 13th Gen Core i7 processor ● NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU ● Good looking 165Hz refresh rate display ● Sleek design ● Portable enough to bring in a bag ● Customizable RGB keyboard ● The track-pad feels smooth to glide on. ● The screen opens up around 180 degrees, basically standing vertically straight up. Cons: ● Heavy gaming use battery life could stand to be longer. ● Fan can be noisy. ● The keyboard feels a bit squishy. I personally prefer mechanical keyboards. ● The track-pad tactile press needs a lot of force to use, but there is also the touch press. Extra Details: ● I have the M1 16” Mac Book pro and this is about the same weight and size, just a little bit thicker. ● The Charging port is on the middle-left side. I would prefer to have the port more towards the back to have less wire hanging out. ● The screen brightness is decent, but I wish it could dim further down for dark space operation. ● Comes with a decent but bulky 240W charger. Wish-list: ● Higher resolution screen / OLED / HDR ● Quieter Fans ● Larger internal SSD space, (at least 1TB). General Thoughts: (overall) If you consider yourself a gamer and want a laptop that delivers powerful performance without sacrificing style or portability, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 is a great choice. It’s an investment, but you're getting premium features and performance that can handle anything you throw at it. This can keep you gaming happily for years to come.
