I've been using the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 since about the beginning of April now, and it's nothing short of impressive. The performance is phenomenal, thanks to the Intel 13th Gen Core i9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. Whether it's for gaming, video editing, or any other intensive task, this laptop handles it all effortlessly. Though I would advise further research on this laptop if you're expecting to use any Adobe Cloud Software. This may be my own skill issue and am pending further research on that portion. For gaming purposes however, this laptop has been perfect for me as you can tell from my desktop! The battery in short, is best to view the laptop and battery charger as one whole unit if you're expecting to play any game for more than 2 hours. The 240Hz QHD display is a standout feature, delivering smooth and vibrant visuals that truly enhance the gaming experience. The build quality is solid, and the sleek design makes it look as good as it performs. Now, regarding the cooling system: it's exactly what I expected based on other reviews I've come across. It's not bad, but with a machine this powerful, some heat production is inevitable. No matter what brand of thermal paste you use to replace the stock paste with, a top-tier gaming laptop like this is going to get warm during heavy use. The cooling system does its job effectively, keeping temperatures within acceptable limits without causing any thermal throttling for the specific laptop unit I received (open box, and perfect condition, seriously). In summary, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is an outstanding gaming laptop that delivers on all fronts. It's powerful, beautifully designed, and provides a top-notch gaming experience. Just be mindful of the heat during extended gaming sessions, which is par for the course with such high-end hardware. I plan on going into further detail on specific specs once I spend some more time with some of its further features when the time comes.

I was really exited when I turned on this gaming laptop. After all it has the Intel core i9 13th generation CPU, 16GB Ram and 1TB SSD.. it was faster than any other laptop I have ever used at work or home. It ran nicely without much heat, however, I used a cooling Laptop fan and ordered another 16GB DDR5 Ram. The geek squad were very helpful and opened the laptop by removing 16 screws and found one occupied DDR slot with 16GB and another empty one. It was straightforward to install the extra ram and now the machine runs faster on 32GB. I really think that it was a great buy especially you can expand it to 32 or even 64GB and perhaps 2TB SSD. I recommend it if you want to do serious gaming or programming.

Can play all the top Triple A games. If you want to watch movies at night, in bed, you’re all set with this laptop. Charges really fast. A full charge battery, on battery saving mode, gets you close to 7hrs of battery life. Let’s be honest, you can use this for work but if you need something with more battery life, you’re either going to need to downgrade in specs or pay another couple of $1k and get the MacBook Pro M2 Pro/Max Chip. This laptop performs amazing.

Great purchase but battery life is very bad. Great Gaming performance but the fan are way too loud certain point. Cannot be used in class because of the fan. But a very good laptop

Overall a great gaming computer. It has been able to handle anything I have thrown at it, and excels at multitasking. It gets very hot during gaming however.

Very nice product only thing is that with a gaming laptop This gets hot so i suggest buying a cooler with it. Graphics card is great speed on designing is also great. Using flight simulator with controls and oculus works very well. I would recommend this laptop. With a cooling system.

Wonderful product with no real makor flaw, just a couple little ones that barely hinder the user experience like the amount of screws to take off the bottom plate, overall, worth the purchase

Great Laptop for Gaming and Multitasking for that price. The laptop monitor show colorful and beautiful images. For Multitasking I recommend to do a RAM upgrade and it runs on great resolutions and FPS.

Very light for a 16 inch, buttery smooth screen. And the 4070 is just perfect for this thin laptop, and it ALSO has an i9!!! Overkill. Ontop of that, i got it on sale for 1600, such a good value

Pretty epic. Can get hot even during sleep so I recommend doing hibernate instead. Remember, this isn't the mini led version. And it's recommended to get an extra ram module.

Amazing upgraded the ram and added a 2tb nvme add runs great probably gonna upgrade to 64gb of 5200mhz

Great laptop for students who want a powerful yet not so bulky machine to game. The laptop itself is not too bulky and battery lasts around 4-5 hours of browsing but it has usb C support so we can carry lighter chargers gaming wise it is a gaming laptop and is a BEAST and you wont be disappointed I got this for 1499 which was good value Id say and wait for a price drop if you want to bag this beast As a student, the trackpad, keyboard, smoothness of the laptop are off the charts.

It is a really nice laptop with a lot of power and can run anything I throw at it. I’m a student and video game enjoyer for reference. It’s not super gamery. The battery life is not the best, it’ll last you half a day of work or so. I just love having something that runs great. I got mine open box so I got a good deal for it.

Great laptop - powerful & easy to upgrade. My son didn’t like the MacBook Pro M1 Max. This is a much better laptop for a cheaper price. Battery life last him the whole day in college. He is computer science major & the MacBook Pro was very limiting & not compatible with the softwares he is using. The graphic card helps him in his coding and doesn’t need to connect to the main frame to do his school work.

Powerful laptop, but loud and hot when running something heavier than browser. Also after 3 months of barely using this machine found out a dead pixel on display. I would recommend consider something else.

Best laptop I had till date. Got a 4070 with 1TB for a budget price during Black Friday sale. Best of all its competitors.

I bought the laptop on August 2023. Everything worked and ran perfectly until i noticed a flaw that seems to be pretty common on this model. The laptop wont turn on on battery power once every ~10 cycles. This means you must plug the AC charger so it can turn on, even if the battery is charged. This is why I cannot travel or even go out with my laptop without carrying the massive charger. I didn't mind that much at first because I thought they would patch it later but many people, including myself have had the problem for a long time and no BIOS update has solved it. My laptop still has warranty so I may use it, but I have seen that people do the "repair" process and they get their laptop with the same defect again. I'll update this review if I find any solution to this problem. I see a couple of more reviews that mention this problem.

I need this laptop for my new GRA position. I run a variety of statistical software such as STATA, R, as well as visualization software like Arc GIS. So far, this laptop has overwhelmingly performed each of these tasks. The cherry on top is the graphics card, which paired with Xbox PC support, makes gaming on the go dangerously easy. I was almost tempted to take a controller to work! Overall I highly recommend this laptop to anyone who needs a laptop for work with higher end software but also wants some variety.

It is a beast laptop. It looks great works great and does everything you need. I am really impressed with the laptop. the display is also fair. The only reason I am giving 2 stars and not 5 is the laptop turns off itself automatically sometime. It is not because it is hot or something. It just turns off itself if I am playing Dota 2 and using chrome at the same time. Sometimes only the chrome with 7 tabs opened is enough to turn it off. Also the keyboard stops working sometime don't know why. restarting the laptop fixes the issue with the keyboard.
