I have a 2020 Zephyrus G14 and I'd say this feels much better. However, there are a few issues including coil whine, turbo mode fan noise, and fingerprints sticking too easily. I'm not sure if I'm too sensitive to high-pitched noise but I can always hear the coil whine even in silent mode, which is a bit annoying. It seems to be a general CPU issue with the 16-inch model, hope ASUS can fix it soon.

Runs amazing battery dies a bit quick but turn off your laptop completely to save battery leds are amazing

Let me just say that this laptop is not only fast and bright with multi window feautures but it also doesn't heat up at all and the battery lasts a long time without having to be charged constantly. All in all I give this wonderful steal a 10/10 stars and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting the best of the pact.

I replaced my old GTX1070 laptop with this one partially because of Baldur's Gate 3. It doesn't disappoint, maximum settings and 60+ fps at 1440p. I have the 4070 model and for 1080p it is incredible amd at 1440p it is extremely solid. The fan noise is on the quiet side for a slim gaming laptop and the laptop only really heats up on the top of the keyboard near the F keys and above. I got it for 500 dollars off the retail price and I am very pleased with my purchase.

One of the best gaming laptop i recommend this laptop for gamer like me

Very good laptop on good budget. Lots of features and options in selecting the CPU, GPUs, fans setting. You can always optimize your performance. Just needs couple of days to catch it first. Bought open box excellent, only thing is it came with wrong HDMI cable although I had my own extra one and a very slight scratch on one of the edge. Would have gave 5 stars if I had got proper HDMI cable.

It's a very nice laptop :] It runs pretty hot and loud on full graphics settings, so I recommend headphones. The screen quality is pretty nice, and the rgb keyboard settings are fun to play with. It is very easy to nick the edges of the laptop, so be wary of sharp corners and metal tables.

It is a great laptop. Ran Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 very well. Definitely holds it's own compared to all other competitive gaming laptops like the Acer predator helios 300. I recently made the switch to my own custom desktop PC only because I want more Memory and storage than laptops can offer. Still would like to keep one of these for travel use.

Laptop is amazing in terms of screen quality, gpu, and processor but unfortunately the battery dies too fast and when factory resetting the OS crashes and prevents the reset from occurring

The lapton is great, even though i order the 32 gb od ram and is expecting to expand it. The only suggestion i would point is the keybord, there is plenty of space to add more functional keys, and the fingerprint should be standard. Also i thin with the reslstate the laptop has, there should be a complete keyboard with the number section.

FYI, this bestbuy M16 model does not have mini-LED screen. This model use NE160QDM-NZ5 instead of mini-LED NE160QDM-NM4. Everything else is fantastic. I love everything about this gaming laptop. Portability is amazing. Gaming laptop 6 years ago weights 6-8kg, and this one is only 2kg. When going to the library, I take this laptop and a 100w USB-C GaN charger, whole backpack weights only 3kg. An hour of helldivers 2 gaming will take 60-80% battery when charging with 100w USB-C. It charges back when you are done. I noticed that 240hz refresh rate is taxing on the iGPU, and I found that you can add 120hz refresh rate with CRU software. 120hz preserves battery a bit without lagging and staggering like 60hz mode, and the fans stay quiet.

It meets everything and is super fine and beautiful. It has good speakers and the screen does everything. This model does not come with the Anime Matrix and does not have a mini LED screen. For the rest, I am super satisfied and happy.

This is the best laptop for students who wants a powerful gaming machine but at the same time don't wanna be too flashy like some other gaming laptop. Battery life is incredible considering its a laptop with dedicated GPU (in eco mode RTX 4070 is disabled and with normal web browsing and coding it gets around 7hrs of battery life). Trackpad is large which makes its usable. Although the surface finish is fingerprint magnet, it can be cleaned with microfiber cloth. Would recommend to buy and 500GB to 1TB NVME SSD with it (ssd benchmark is attach).

Good laptop but with integrated asus software to control settings of the laptop, it is irregular and does random things at times and lags. Also screen and sound turns on and off everytime you plug and unplug power, which seems unnecessary.

The best laptop I could ever buy at the price I bought. I had the chance to buy it in a big promo of 400 bucks off. This machine is awesome.

For anyone deciding between this or 2024 g16 I'd say if you dont mind big design change just go for this, it has been really reliable for my engineering work as well as gaming but if you are buying this open box try to inspect it well as most of bestbuy geel squad are blind because this is actually a second open box unit that i have bought as the first one that says "open box excellent" and "geek squad inspected" was in fact not excellent as it has visible sign of entry in to the machine to access ram and stuff so excellent my foot

If you're looking a slim powerful gaming laptop this is one of the best choice with the i9 13900h combine with the rtx 4070 it can handle games pretty well
