Writing a review after having this for two years. Bought Nov 2018.
It's durability is 1/10. After it fell just 1.5ft sliding off a chair, it split the backing of the monitor from the front, so now I can no longer close my laptop- basically making it useless for transport. I dropped my 2013 HP laptop from the same distance and higher, on harder surfaces even, and it still works as it did before.
Since Dec/Jan 2018, a few months after I bought it (and past the return/refund date), I took it to Geeksquad because the screen would often flash black/dark gray. They couldn't figure anything out other than to mention to update the drives. Not sure why a new computer would need updated drives already, but ok. Even with updated hard drives it still flashes black.
Also since Jan 2018 it sometimes drops the WiFi. Just randomly loses connection and can't detect any wifi signals nearby, let alone connecting to one. I also sit right next to the modem. I had to buy an Ethernet cable just to fix the issue, as taking it to Geek Squad twice (January and May 2019) didn't help, and all they did was hook it to an Ethernet cable. So after getting tired of driving just to BB for a quick fix, I just bought an Ethernet cable to connect it to. The thing is, I shouldn't have had to buy one in the first place.
As for the rest of the laptop, I suppose it's good. Minecraft runs decent (modded), but the issues above still occur. I haven't bothered to try any long-term Steam gameplays - the extra stress and anger wasn't worth it. The issues above have kept me from investing my time to using this laptop as a gaming laptop, which for its price is pitiful.

Overall, I'm satisfied. The specs are more for low-end gaming as the VRAM is 2 GB. Since I play flight simulator a lot, I really needed something like this - works great with XPlane11. The keyboard keys are soft and nice on the fingers. As with all laptops, you should consider a cooling pad to extend the life of the parts. Took about a day to install all the windows updates and games and then I defragged the HD to make it run smoother. This is good for someone who wants a budget gaming laptop and doesn't want to play something that requires 4GB of VRAM. It comes with a 30 day trial of McAfee which I suppose is good for people who like McAfee. The wireless AC works incredibly well with 5Ghz routers so I am happy about that. 1 TB HD is good for the money.
