Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the TUF Dash 15.6" gaming laptop's impressive performance, lightweight design, and portability, making it ideal for gaming on the go. Many appreciate its good price and the option to easily expand storage. However, some users point to less-than-stellar battery life, screen quality concerns, and occasional issues with heat and fan noise. The relatively small storage capacity is also a recurring concern for some buyers.

Slim laptop packs a performance punch
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Asus gaming laptop is a great combination of size and performance. The keyboard feels nice for everyday use and works ok for gaming in a pinch. Highlighting WASD keys looks nice but in practice you just know where those are by feel. I really like the fact that Asus fit a number pad on the keyboard but it kind of awkwardly skews the keys to the left of the trackpad. I naturally line up my hands to the home row using the trackpad and consistently find that my fingers are shifted a key to the right. I think it is something that I can get used to, but it was a little disruptive at first. Appreciate the dedicated volume and mic mute buttons. I think I would have preferred swapping the audio mute with the Asus Armoury Crate dedicated button for monitoring and tweaking performance. I’m not that in to micromanaging settings and just don’t see myself personally wanting to launch it so much as to need a dedicated button for it. Mute is instead a Function key combo press. The power brick is reasonably sized with a long cord. The design choice to put the power jack almost in the center of the chassis seemed a little odd as most other laptops seem to theirs near the back edge. I understand why it was put there because of the large air ducts on both sides. USB-C charging is also a nice touch in case you are ever caught somewhere without the brick. The ports (ethernet, HDMI, 2 USB-C, 1 USB-A and headphone) seem to be overloaded on the left-hand side with but a single USB-A on the right. There is also a dedicated ethernet port which is great as you can’t beat a hardwired connection over Wi-Fi for the best networking performance when gaming. Wi-Fi performance was quite good though and it is supposed to support the Wi-Fi 6 spec. Unfortunately, I don’t have Wi-Fi 6 yet so I’m not able to give any feedback on that. My Xbox controller paired up easily with it and worked great. Gaming performance is great. I mainly play racing, and RTS style games. The 144Hz video is clear and smooth with nice contrast. The GeForce 3070 GPU is rather impressive as well. You understandably get better performance when plugged into power as to opposed to running on battery. When running GPU on battery I was getting 30FPS which is not stellar but sufficient to play many games. Gaming on battery is acceptable but for any serious gaming you’ll want the power plugged in. Using the MyAsus app you can set the charging limit % to preserve battery life which is especially nice if left plugged in for long periods of time. When not gaming or in default visual mode it does a good job of running quiet and is fairly cool, however, when gaming and plugged in to get max performance fans run pretty loud and it gets rather warm. There is a 1-month trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included which gives you a large library of games to play and try out. For such a slim and relatively light weight design this thing packs quite a performance punch. I don’t think that I have ever had a laptop this compact with as much power as this one has.

So far so good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this as a gift for my partner and according to him, so far so good. The graphics are smooth when playing games (valorant and dota). Probably the only complaint he has is the finger print marks. He’ll probably just a skin or something.

Performs well and have the specs that I’m looking for in a gaming laptop and works well on MICROSOFT Flight Sim 2020.

Not bad for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally gave this laptop a really poor review. Its not bad. Maybe my expectations were too high. I should have gotten the non "dash" version or spent a little more on something else.

Great, Maybe Not..
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop itself works great! I could play video games, do school work, and pretty much anything I needed it to do. Then, one day it randomly went caput and stopped working. The motherboard just died.

The perfect high horsepower work device
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the high cores, high end GPU, and on device ports there is no limit to what you can get done. It blends in with other office devices without any major gamer aesthetics.

Great for gaming and multi-tasking!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Device was packed well resulting in no damage to the device or supplementary cables and documentation. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and 16GB DDR5 RAM handles any game I throw at it with no stuttering or tearing. Audio sounds great for what it is, but my primary go to for audio is headphones, so your mileage may vary. Primarily used with external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The 144Hz monitor looks great when away from the desk. I would recommend this model to anyone shopping for a 15.6" class gaming laptop. Would purchase again.
