Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear about the issues you're having with this model. The noise that is emitting from the computer is known as coil whine. When the electrical current is increased to a certain point, the magnetic field around the coil can cause it to vibrate, which produces the whiny sound. After a short amount of time the noise should go away as the components regulates. However, if it is that the sound is too much for you, then we would recommend that you have this device sent in for servicing.

Purchased it as a gift to someone living abroad. They didn't even extend the warranty to an international one or offer to look at it remotely to get it fixed outside the US. Overall very frustrated and super disappointed with this purchase and the product. This is going to be the last laptop I ever bought from ASUS or Bestbuy.

If you are experiencing system crash or a blue screen of death issue with the laptop, please check if Windows, drivers and BIOS are up to date in order to resolve the issue. By keeping Windows updated, this will maintain optimum system stability and performance.
If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. However, this laptop suffers from a terrible quality screen where the colors are not clearly depicted and fans that are extremely noisely even in simple procedures. Great for its price and for what i want

It can run Arma on high performance and hold a steady frame rate. I have this, a ps5 and a switch. Ive got my bases covered if I want to play a certain game. Will it be able to run most games? Yes. Will it be able to handle a ton of mods to make a game the ultimate experience? No but im also not trying to push it. How long i think its gonna last before i need to upgrade or decide an actual gaming pc? Altesst 5-8 years. But even then i can probably go for longer depending on technological jumps. Complaints? The fan can be loud at times but not noticeable if youre gaming and have headphones on. Battery isnt great but ive easily accepted that theyre more meant for easy relocation than on the go. My search parameters were really a laptop i can game and dual for school work. I wanted atleast 15' screen, a good amount of usb ports, and a numpad. I game regularly play whenever i can. With this laptop, i have all of my bases covered. Am i all about "pc master race"? No. I just want to play games. It boils down to 2 scenarios for me. Does game exist on pc that doesnt on ps5 or switch? Ok ill use my laptop and hopefully itll run. If it does great! Or 2 my laptop cant handle it but its out on other systems. Great ill but it there and play no issue! If scenario 1 happens more and it cant run it, ill have to upgrade but right now, its fine
