Pretty excellent for me so far, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a 17 inch laptop with these specs at this price, and it costs significantly less at Best Buy than other sellers. The SSD is silent and super snappy and I'm glad there's room to install another 1TB hard drive, and while I'm not huge gamer, the Ryzen 7 and have opened up a bug range of PC games that weren't previously available to me on my last laptop. I've heard some reviewers people gripe about the build quality, but I've found it to feel pretty solid, I once had a Toshiba that was really flimsy and plastic-y, and this is way better quality than that. My only criticism is I wish there was more contrast between the gray lettering and the silver keys. Occasionally in daylight I have to reposition myself or the laptop to see the keyboard clearly.

This laptop has great RAM and processor speed at a nice price point. I had to get an ethernet adapter but super fast upload and download speed.

Regarding the price, I think it is the best possible computer I could get. Speakers sound great. The look and style are great. It's fast enough to handle everything I need it to. Battery life drains fairly fast, seems to feel like maybe 2 hours tops.

Over all, I'd say this laptop is a good laptop. It's fast, easy to use, light, and all around good. If you want a laptop that accomplishes quick internet surfing or light gaming, I would maybe recommend it. However, be warned: as the other stated, if you are looking for the RGB keyboard, this is falsely advertised... or falsely delivered. No RGB here. But if that's no issue, then go right ahead.

Great labtop, but there are a few things lacking. The keyboard keys are not luminated as described. The camera on the labtop is really lacking and the images is blurry. I don't use it often. So, for the price I paid for this, I'm okay with it.

I love this thing. My only issue is that it was initially advertised as having a backlit keyboard, which it clearly doesn’t. However its performance is so good and fast that I don’t mind the keyboard. It also has a number pad that most don’t have. Game performance is also really nice for the integrated video card. I haven’t tried the best resolutions, but that doesn’t faze me. Would definitely recommend in the future.

I opted to purchase another ASUS because I had no problems with my current one of seven years. Only reason prompted me to purchase a new laptop was due to the "old" one not working for three days and from constant use the cover is becoming unhinged. However, when walking in Best Buy's parking lot to purchase a new laptop the old one came alive!! A new laptop was purchased and the old one is still working. Only problem at this time is the lid cannot be closed. I am giving the new laptop only four stars because the keyboard is not that easy to work with. The entire laptop is silver. I purchased a special light to enable efficient utilization. There was no other choice at the time to consider color combination. As it is the current laptop is an "open box" purchase and I hope all goes well.

I was disappointed to find out with i got this laptop delivered, that it didn't have the back-lit keyboard it said it had. That's my only complaint. I like how thin it is and easily transported. the battery last for about 6-7 hours of constant use. It doesn't have a LAN port but the AC wireless adapter helps with that issue. The screen is big and bright. The touchpad works just like the macs do, with pinch zoom in and out and 2 finger scrolling. It doesn't come with bloatware so that's nice. Overall its a great laptop for everyday use.

After doing a bit of research, this laptop seemed to be the best value for its price range. The 17.3” display feels massive, which may be good or bad depending on your preference - it’s not too bulky, but 17.3 definitely makes for a very large laptop. The extra size allows for a number pad on the keyboard, which is a nice plus. As far as the keyboard is concerned, I’ve seen some feedback that the gray lettering on gray keys is a silly design choice. To me, it only seems to be an issue in poorly lit areas, though I’m not bothered by it (actually looks pretty sleek). Worked perfectly well out of the box, no issues with setup. Performance-wise, I’ve had no complaints thus far. It’s been able to simultaneously run several programs with no issues, which is great as the extra large screen can accommodate video streaming and an online game side-by-side with ease. My one complaint would be the relatively low battery life (5 hours or less depending on what you’re doing), though something has to give with a price this good, plus you can just keep it plugged in during heavy duty tasks (gaming, Netflix, etc.) Overall I certainly recommend the Vivobook, though it’s worth considering the smaller model if you want a more traditional size laptop

Performs amazingly in all areas . Great picture quality for Movies , Pictures & Games. You will not find a Laptop that works so good at the price it's being sold for. It performs just as good as a $1000 dollar Laptop in my opinion. Bottom line , you'll be very happy you bought this Laptop !!!

Been using this for a month now and I have no complaint on the performance. Only thing is, the keyboard is silvery grey and it's a little shiny on some areas so I had to buy a laptop stand so it tilts a little bit. Other than that, I love this laptop! the price is reasonable too.

I was going to upgrade it to 32GB RAM right away but found that 4GB is soldered to the motherboard. Max i could go was 20GB but that will be plenty. Keyboard is easy enough to read despite the grey lettering. Best machine for the price I could find. So I ended up with Ryzen 7 chip & 20GB ram for around $650 for the extra RAM. Super fast machine for the price.

It is a good option if you don't want to spend a lot of money. Mouse pad doesn't respond after extended use. If you are on a page with a lot of animation it will flicker off and on. Keyboard is not backlit,so that takes some getting used to. It does serve the purpose I needed it for.

Overall a very nice laptop. I gave it a 4 because the keyboard is pretty annoying. The grey color of the keyboard makes the light grey letters hard to see. Also the on/off button sits where most laptops have the delete button so very frequently I shut it down by mistake.

I purchased this laptop about 2 weeks ago when I received it. It doesn't have a backlit keyboard. the information on the website said it came with one. Got it out of the box went through the setup process and no backlit keyboard I thought it was just something we were doing to keep it from working so after staying on the phone with tech support for 2 hours came to the conclusion that maybe it was boxed incorrectly so I sent that one back received another one today and it's the same exact problem now I am on hold again waiting to get another return label also I did confirm the information that it doesn't have a backlit keyboard through the Asus website and now the Best buy website has been updated to state that it doesn't come with a backlit keyboard. really frustrated that I wasted 3 hours on the phone and nearly two weeks back and forth through the mail that I could have used researching to find a computer with comparable specs and the backlit keyboard

Great laptop for the money! Needed a new laptop for our business and this delivers everything and more that we were looking for. Fast, great graphics, large screen and very thin. Would highly recommend!

Got it for someone who began working at home. They wanted something with a big screen but was still portable. For just checking emails, word processing, editing excel spreadsheets, & zoom meetings, it's a bit overkill. Definitely better than having something underpowered. As expected, it remained silent & cool to the touch performing these non strenuous tasks. Everything loads very quickly thanks to the nvme ssd. Webcam quality is acceptable (not amazing but not unbearable). Fine for conference calls, but a content creator would likely not be satisfied. Keyboard is comfortable to type on.

No problems at all .. great fast computer.. I use this computer for Photoshop and after effects and so far I had no issues.. the keyboard thing is not a big issue unless you want to use the computer in the dark..
