I had to buy a laptop at the last minute for an event, but I'm happy to say that it performed as expected for the price. It feels lighter than a typical laptop and it feels more fragile since most of the external components are plastic. It's good for simple tasks, but slows down significantly for more complex tasks.

This laptop works very well. It’s easy to navigate and great for school and personal activities. Also, it can even earlier than originally expected, which was great.

This baby is SLOW. The Celeron is really showing its age.
That being said, I bought it knowing that, and I use it for one thing: utilizing GoogleDocs for writing. It does that one thing really well. So it gets an average score.
P.S. Lots of bloatware to remove, Copilot in particular being shoved on a processor that can't handle it makes it even slower. Also ships in S-mode, needs to be disabled before you can customize the machine you just bought.

This model has been in production for at least three years, showing it's a successful model.. I'd bought two earlier units. After > 2 years ownership, one has buggy wi-fi causing occasional crashes. The 2nd's battery won't charge but works fine on AC. In fairness, both of these were "demo" or "open box" when I bought them and they had no problems until well beyond the 1 year warranty period. I just bought two more as spares. Even if prone to flaws, at the price you cannot go wrong.

This has been great for my family. I bought it was the kids school computer and it has worked flawlessly so far. The number pad on the mouse pad is awesome. It's easy to lock and unlock during use and the screens brightness is perfect. Id highly recommend this to any parents that need a laptop for their kids.

Easy to set up. It loads quickly. I had to remove some of the Microsoft stuff, but it was a clean change. I needed more usb ports so I purchased a splitter. I have no complaints. It's a great laptop for casual use. I do not watch movies, or play games so I can't speak to this.

This is my second of the exact same model. For what I need…email, an occasional spread sheet, yearly taxes and some internet surfing it is perfect. There is no hard drive, but it will save spreadsheets and pdfs and run some apps.

This computer does what I purchased it to do. At times it is a little slow. The screen is a little faded at the bottom if not at a 60 degree angle or flat. Good for surfing or doing small jobs. Good for a kid's first computer.

The ASUS Vivobook Go 14 is a solid little laptop for light, everyday use. It’s compact, lightweight, and super easy to carry around. The 14" Full HD screen looks great for the price, and it’s perfect for browsing, emails, streaming, and schoolwork.
Performance-wise, it’s not built for heavy multitasking or gaming, but the Intel Celeron and 4GB of RAM are fine for basic tasks. The 128GB eMMC storage is fast enough for quick startups and keeping a few essential files and apps.
If you just need something affordable and reliable for simple daily use, this is a great option.

I was super upset about the locked down nature of Windows 11 and one if the laptops almost got bricked when we encountered a complication in setup. Ultimately, however, we were able to get both laptops working and they perform adequately as school computers
