This laptop does everything I wanted it to do. It runs fast, feels very sturdy, and looks beautiful. I regularly Photoshop and CAD, and this laptop handles everything I throw at it.

This laptop is F A S T. I regularly run processor-intensive programs such as MATLAB, CAD, and Photoshop alongside one another, and the processor handles it all with ease. I especially love how quickly the laptop boots up with the SSD. Perfect for an engineering student!

I just want to start off mentioning that this is the laptop configuration i have searched for, not just specs but the exterior too. Quality, speed are both pluses moreover the keyboard is nice too! Nitpick's for me would have to be the material attractive fingerprints but so what? It's a beautiful finish. My main nitpick is the MicroSD card feature rather than a standard SD card slot (although I'm a photographer so if you don't mind this then hooray!). One thing i want to point out for those contemplating decisions are the fans, for me they arent that loud although at times of long periods of usage or intense tasks they can be loud, but just know the heats controlled nicely. Overall i recommend this laptop to anyone who's a content creator or looking for a all around laptop that can handle it all. In summary, i definitely think that pros outweigh the cons here. Surely do your own research though! Consider this review research though.

The UX550VE is a very thin and light laptop and powerfull.
