Great entry level vinyl player

I’m loving this player, it’s got both great quality and a super intuitive design. Super easy to connect to my existing sound system, plus there is also a version with Bluetooth if that’s what you prefer. The upgrade this is from my old suitcase style player cannot be overstated. If you have a suitcase style player and care about the life of your records or the quality of their sound, this is an incredible next step in your vinyl journey.

This is an amazing record player! It is super easy to use and provides a great record-listening experience! It allows for either Bluetooth or plug-in speakers (need to be bought separately). The sound quality with my plug-in speakers is really good!

This is the best value I could find for an automatic turntable. Audio Technica knows what they're doing, and has made a very simple but very good sounding player. I've been using it to transfer a bunch of vinyl albums to digital files, and it's been working flawlessly.
I used to have a Technics turntable many moons ago that was not automatic, so you had to balance the tonearm, adjust the counterweight, set up the anti-skate, and all of that hoo-hah just to listen to your records. Oh, and you had to carefully lift the tonearm and gently lower it to the vinyl surface. When the record side was finished, it just sat there endlessly grinding away at the end, skipping back every rotation. Who needs all of that?
This turntable does everything for you. After placing the record, you hit the Start button, and it plays the whole side. At the end, it lifts the tonearm and stops the record. There's no counterweight to mess with, no anti-skate setting, or any other adjustments. It just works.
I've transferred about a hundred albums so far, and I'm very happy with the sound quality and ease of operation. I realize that some people love the whole process of playing each side manually, but I'm not one of them. This turntable does an excellent job of handling playback tasks while delivering very good sound. It's a home run as far as I'm concerned.
So if you're intimidated by the technical aspects of setting up and using a fancier turntable, this one is a great option that lets you just play and enjoy your records with minimal fuss.

Hidden gem due to an uncommon feature

The LP 60x is a revamp of the previous LP60 bit audio technica. The parts included in this device are lightweight but appropriately selected for a record player. The belt-driven system combined with the aluminum platter help with reducing vibrations and the included felt platter cover is a great vibration reducing inclusion. The automatic system is effective and works 100% of the time that I've used it. It is extremely easy to use and sounds very good regardless of its lightweight stature. The tone arm is a spring weighted system and the cartridges and audio technical cartridge. This device can play 45s and 33 and 1/2 speed records.
Thoughts:
when it comes to hi-fi equipment most people do not think that a $100 turntable would be considered audiophile grade by any stretch of the imagination. And in most scenarios they would be 100% correct. most turntables around this price point have a built-in phonographic pre-amplifier so they can be used with any stereo system. This turntable actually has the ability for you to bypass the internal phono preamp and use your existing receivers preamp. That means the only thing that affects the quality of note would be the cartridge which in this is a very high quality moving magnet cartridge. Granted it's not a project or a marantz but because you are not using the internal pre-amplifier if connected to a very high quality system as in my case a marantz SR-8012 you can get extremely high quality audio that is full of life out of this turntable. I paired this with the Garth Brooks legacy collection and when I turned it on and closed my eyes the wall fell away and I was in a concert. This is a phenomenal investment that I highly recommend anyone make whether you are new to the audio world or an experienced audio file.

I was born in 1955. My dad was a gear head back in the 50's and 60's, and by the time I was 12 or so, I knew how to balance a tone arm and set the anti-skating, etc. because of him. I've been through a ton of electronic stuff in my lifetime.
My beloved Technics SL-D2 linear turntable died after 40 years of use. I liked it because it used P-mount cartridges, among other things. But I knew I no longer wanted to mess around with settings and fussing over a turntable, and I now have tremorous hands, so I wanted a fully automatic model.
This turntable fills the bill. I really don't mind that I can't change out the cartridge; I always found it tedious. This little plug and play unit looks great, sounds fine, and all I have to do is put on the record and hit "start".
Oh, it has a great price, too.

I was a little hesitant to buy this turntable at first because of the negative reviews about it skipping and some not even getting it to play but I have had zero issues with the setup, I hooked it up to a couple insignia bookshelf speakers I purchased at Best Buy at the same time and it sounds fantastic. If it gets shaken even a little it will skip, like when I’ve walked too hard and too close to the table its sitting on it skips a few seconds but I think that’s more my fault because I have it on an end table that’s not really well balanced. If I’m not near the turntable its fine so I know its me and will be putting it on a more stable platform in the next few days so I’m sure I’ll have absolutely no problem then. I should also mention that I had been using a Crosley Deluxe suitcase record player prior to buying this and if you’re still using one of those or are debating between whether to buy one of those for $40 or spend the extra coin on this one, don’t even think about it and buy this one. I have run speakers that cost 4 times the amount of the Crosley on it and it doesn’t matter, the difference between this one and the Crosley is night and day. This sounds amazing, still has that full sound with just a slight, barely audible crackle of vinyl, whereas the Crosley is kind of a mess. Even on great speakers it just doesn’t sound right, where this one sounds gorgeous on a pair of $70 speakers. If you’re looking to get into vinyl, committed the sin of buying a suitcase record player, or you just want a turntable without killing your budget, this is the one to get. As a side note, some very minor setup is required, but nothing crazy. Basically just attaching to the belt to the motor, but it takes 3 seconds. You won’t regret it.

An Awesome Turntable for Anyone!

I just want to start off and say that I love this turntable. I am no audiophile or "record player junkie", heck, this is the first turntable I have ever used, but I can say that this turntable did not disappoint. It was incredibly easy to install and makes it super quick to drop in a record and start playing music.
If you are looking for a record player with a bunch of extra features, you need to look elsewhere, because this is extremely bare-bones. However, for someone like me who just wants to listen to music without any extra hassle, this turntable was perfect. You need to keep in mind, although, that it has no Bluetooth, the built-in speakers are basically nonexistent, and there are hardly any customization options.
If I were looking for a turntable that can do more than just play records, this product would not even be a consideration for me. But, that's not me. I was looking for a turntable for a beginner such as myself, and that is exactly what I got: a high quality record player that looks great, sounds great, and just works!

This is the best (probably) entry level turntable I've ever try. It reminds me an old Sony 3 in 1 stereo sound system I owned back in the early 90's. It's extremely easy to set it up, it feels a little plasticly cheap but it looks good with my equipment. It's fully automatic and I love the option to connect it to my amp either to the phono (my preferred option) or the line input thanks to the built in pre-amp feature. It would be great to have the option to upgrade the cartridge for a better one, still this Audio Technica LP60X have a really good sound stage, my old and new vinyls sound great. I will recommend to upgrade the stylus that it comes with the turntable for the LP Gear Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE, it improves the sound quality.
I purchased this LP60X in Balck/Gunmetal finish about a year ago and is still spinning with no issues at all, I may upgrade it for something more advanced with more options in the future but for now this my everyday way to go to enjoy my vinyl collection. It's a bang for the buck. I highly recommend it.

We’ve had two other brands of record players, and this one has been the best! Bluetooth capabilities, great sound, sleek look that matches with most, if not all spaces, and the pricing is not bad! We used the pay in four option because why not? Just to take care of this one as much as possible we purchased speakers for it, although they honestly don’t need them!

Awesome budget turntable. I’m new to vinyls and I did a lot of research for a good vinyl that wouldn’t break the bank. This was definitely a great deal. Apart from the great aesthetics, it sounds amazing, and I paired them with the Insignia bookshelf speakers (another budget but good option). The sound is crystal clear and sounds more full than what you hear on your normal AirPods. Only thing I’d say, look up how to tune the belt speed on YouTube, I noticed when I first took it out that it was playing at about 5-10% faster than it should have been, but it’s a quick easy fix. This is way better than any of those brief case vinyl players that often damage your records. If you’re new, but want a good turntable that will sound good and last a long time, this is a great option.

I've used a few other cheap record players and this one absolutely blows them away. I have it hooked up to a cheap $30 amp and it sounds amazing through my speakers. It plays like a more expensive player for sure...I guess maybe they are able to offer it at a slightly lower price due to some assembly being required.
Only real issue is there's not really any options in terms of balance/weight/etc. Really good price, looks cool and kinda retro, and it's super easy to put together.

This is the best beginner/budget turntable for a reason! This turntable, paired with a good set of speakers (like the Edifier R1280T) make for an easy to use setup that allows you to really get the most out of your vinyls. The ease of use is something that can't go overlooked. My girlfriend used to always be worried about scratching the record when dropping or lifting the needle. With this turntable, the needle lifts itself, drops itself, and returns to it's holder when the record ends. Zero complaints, great price, amazing value.

This is a fully functional, user friendly, great sounding turntable. It looks great, works perfectly, fits most budgets. I haven’t had a turntable for 15 years, and this one makes it very fun and easy to share my old records with friends. I got a very serviceable pre-amp for $25 (make sure you get one if your amp doesn’t have one built in).

Let me start by stating first, the reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 is because as great as these are, to really feel the music u need to buy a pre-amp device. Otherwise u have to listen to it threw line which kind of defeats the purpose of it and they dont tell you this anywhere.
That being said, i just started getting back into vinyl. I actually purchased TWO of these systems. One for living room and one for bedroom. Without the pre-amp, they sound amazing, just have to crank the volume up.
Its very easy to use and ensemble. I was debating between this and the 200 sony one. But after reading the reviews and comparssions, people said they pretty much give the same sound. The sony has blutooth tho (which again, digitizes the music so defeats the purpost). So i got 2 of these for the price of one of those.
If you are getting into vinyl or want too, i would deff start with these. I have it hooked up to a onkyo system and the other to a yamaha system. I tell you, im so glad i purchased these and i look forward to enjoying vinyl again.
