First I bought a Yale smart lock with August, however it did not fit my door I bought this August smart lock no hassle with installing, the software works flawless, if you are not too much concerned about the touchpad this is the Way to go, Also the motor is extremely quiet. My daughter gets separation anxiety when we go outside so we have to sneak out but this lock opens and closes so quietly no problems. Highly recommend

Lock works as described and very simple to install.

I now have two of these, one for the outer mud room door, and one for the inner door. They work pretty much as advertised, but. it turns out that it cannot be setup to unlock both of them when you get home, I have to use the app, or buy an-additional keypad to get through the pair of locks into the house. I would give a five star rating, and buy two more locks if they can improve this aspect of their software.

Easy installation. Set up took a few attempts to get it set up correctly but it’s pretty reliable and it’s so nice to just walk up and have the door automatically unlock.

Excellent looking lock, easy install and works great with the app. I am giving it three stars for its homekit compatibility. It sucks. Always shows "No response". One of the locks is about 15 ft from the homehub and another little over 30. I am not buying a homehub for each of the locks.

Amazing product. I love everything about it. Everyone needs it. Can open from your couch, from your car, with a hand full of groceries. Just awesome.

The August WiFi Smart Lock is easy to install and configure, and seems to be working flawlessly.

Work well. Nice addition to Smart Home. Easy to install and works with Apple HomeKit

I chose this smart lock because the wi fi "brain" is self contained. There is no need for a separate unit unless you want voice control. Then you will need an Alexa or something similar. It has worked as advertised most of the time. There is an occasional glitch with the bluetooth, but the manufacturer is aware of it and is working on a fix.

Worth it. Especially when you're taking Groceries. I unlock my door before I head up and can just opem the door with Groceries in hand. Just trust me. It's a lifesaver.

Works great with Alexa. Love the fact that you can’t see that you have a digital door lock on the outside and you can still use your old key. Easy installation.

Very simple and easy to install. Connects with IOS and Android Operating System really easy. Looking at the doors from outside, no one can guess you have a Smart Lock. It uses Bluetooth, and WiFi.

Love this smart lock!!!! Works great and all the features are wonderful! The one feature I love the best is the Auto Unlock! When I pull up in the driveway the door automatically unlocks!

Love this lock. Just upgraded to the newer model. I use this at our rental property. Totally eliminates giving house keys to strangers.

Great lock and easy to install. No issue with using other apps to control it.

Works well about 95% of the time. I wish I could set it so the auto lock won't relock until the doors been open. Sometimes I don't get the door before the auto lock happens. The App can be a little hard to navigate or slow to connect but other than that, it works extremely well with both Smartthings and Google Home.

Yale would not fit so this was my only option and I'm not too upset about that. I do really wish the keypad you can buy looked better, or was even included. If you have auto lock on, go outside without your keys or phone... well... hopefully you can yell at Alexa really loudly or have a spare key outside somewhere. Guest accounts don't seem to work properly is my only other issue.

Bought the first one and then bought the second. Keeps your existing keys. Just replaces the inside thumb turn. Simple install and setup. Easy to use.
