Very good for what it is

First of all, the packaging is unnecessarily fancy lol. Nice touch, but really? Anyway, I like that the unit includes a USB extension cable. So one can tweak length to the power source, as needed. The controls are simple and easy to use. Someone posted that there is no "always on" setting (i.e., steady light). Works for me. Steady on is the first setting. Perhaps that user has a defective product (?). This is a very simple single color white LED strand. I would only buy something like this on sale. I say this because I have three other multicolor LED strands (two have remotes) that did not cost that much than this one. This is why I bought it as BB deal. If you are looking for simple, short (vs. 16 feet), white, and simple wired controls, then you might want to consider this product. If you want color and a radio (vs. wired or IR) remote, then shell out a few bucks and get one of those instead. I hope this helps.
