This is a good movie in a great package. Great looming movie as well.

Must have for any 3d collection. I got it for $10 so it was a no brainer.

I bought this for my wife as it is her favorite movie and I am sure she will love to have it on hand to watch anytime she pleases. Looking forward to see the scenes that were not included in the original release. The movie was supposed to arrive by yesterday at the latest, but it hasn't shown up yet. Best Buy is already sending me emails to review it, so I thought I might as well.

The picture looks really good in HD! The plot of the movie is good,but not that good.I wish this movie was in 3D though.

I saw this movie when it came out but had to get the 3D version ever since I found out that my girlfriend never watched the movie, so I grabbed it for a movie night. If you haven't seen it has aspects to it that can appease to everyone's tastes. Action, romance, suspense, drama, sci-fi/fantasy and a beautiful and colorful picture. During the first 10 minutes, she said out loud how is it that I've never seen this movie? It went to show how captivating and great a movie it is.

My wife and I wandered into Avatar to see what this 3D movie craze was about. We saw it in the IMAX 3D and we have been hooked ever since. We see almost all of the IMAX 3D movies and like to have copies of our favorites. Turns out that most of friends want a 3D TV after they watch this movie. They feel ripped off that the industry released the TVs before movies were released and then stopped making the TVs now that there are 3D movies available.

Even so many years later, the movie is still absolutely gorgeous!

I have 2 other copies of this movie. For some reason this one is the clearest viewing of all. (the others are also blue ray and 4k. The extended versions are great, added insight to character development. The extras are beautiful, no spoiler alert-just not telling how-see for it yourself. Let me know if you agree.

I saw this at IMAX in 3D when it was first released and was impressed. Having just received it as a gift years later I gave it another viewing and was blown away by the clarity of the imagery and especially the 3D. The sound is also very well done for DTS 5.1 but would be better in 7.1 or ATMOS. For the 3D and the colorful world of Pandora alone this film belongs in everyone's library.

There are so many positives about the 3D blu-ray disc of "Avatar". The color, the cinematography, the story, the special effects, the music score, all add up to one of the most outstanding films I've ever seen. The acting is superb, considering that it plays a supporting part to the movie as a whole. It's adventure, drama, thriller, science fiction, spiritual, and romance all contained in one film without feeling cramped.One can see the care that James Cameron put into the film to achieve perfection.

I am a fan of Avatar. It is a fun movie that has an amazing level or artistry and dedication in producing amazing visuals and a really cool world. The story may not be the most original (a complaint some people lob at this film), but the way it is told, the amazing world building and everything else just gels together to produce an awesome experience. And if you can watch it in 3D the experience is breath-taking. I highly recommend this movie.

I love watching this movie with my family. The unseen version is the best. The great thing about this movie is that it has a lot of action from the beginning to end. I highly recommend this movie to everyone it has a lot of action and has you very excited of what might happen next when watching. My children love this movie we can not stop watching it. Everything about this movie is great from beginning to end.I'm a very happy that I bought the unseen version and was able to see the cut scene.

I was delightfully surprised by just how great Avatar turned out to be. I was put off by the ugly alien creature in the poster image, but once the aliens showed up in the film, they were quite fun. There are a few spots where the director allowed gosh-wow CGI to intrude on the story, but mostly the CGI is invisible -- you know it's there because the creatures and world they show simply do not exist on Earth, but what you see is quite realistic within its realm.

Avatar came out about 7 or 8 years ago, and I had never seen it before buying this Blu-ray copy. I had purchased a new 4K TV, and wanted to find the best movies that would show off my new TV. This movie came to mind.. mostly because of all the hype it got when it came out some years ago. I was NOT disappointed! This movie not only LOOKED amazing on my brand new TV, but I couldn't believe I was so resistant to watching it before! GREAT movie!

This is one of the best Movies ever. From the beginning you are hooked. The color is fantastic, the story line is fabulous. I recommend this movie all the time. I bought the 3D movie, but haven't seen it yet. Saving up for a 3D player. If you're not hooked from the beginning, give it a chance. Everyone one I know was hooked from the vey beginning.

3D TV's seem to be going the way of the dodo, but if you have one as I do, this movie is the best way to show it off. James Cameron is a fan of 3D and vowed to make this the best 3D movie ever, and boy, did he succeed. I almost had to watch it twice. First I was just amazed at the 3D effects, and then the second time through I could pay attention to the plot. The movie made a fortune in the theaters. If you buy this disk, you'll know why.

Leave it to James Cameron to deliver the home theater goods. This is one of the best Blu-Ray presentations I've seen in years. The picture popped and the sound boomed - and with a title like *Avatar*, it should! Also love the packaging, which is as unique as the film itself; well, the world Cameron built anyway. The story is all to familiar... Call it *Dances with Aliens* and you get the picture. But still, this is solid work from a true visionary!

I saw this at the theater, and was totally wowed. The background alone was fantastic. If you lose focus on the plot and look at the background only, you would still be entertained. However, the plot is very charismatic, so you never lose focus. The background is just icing on the cake. They cast the movie perfectly (imho), and the CGI aliens had a very wide range of visible and emotional context. I never really lost interest in this movie. From beginning to end, it was spectacular.
