Dolby vision, brightness, deep blacks and most importantly 3D was my check list to finalise a UST. AWOL LTV 3000 pro matched all my requiemenrs, setup was very easy and colors really pop on ALR screen. If this projector to be enjoyed to its potential, then ALR cenematic screen is must. Its like 120 inch OLED TV. Best product and i highly recommend. Only negetive is keystone adjustment is pain- so to get to 100% alignment on screen, be ready to spend some time.

Wonderful device, great picture and easy to set up. Replaced an 85” Samsung 8K unit that stopped working after 13 months (and Samsung no longer supported repairs on the model). Lesson is that just because they can make a giant screen doesn’t mean it’s a good idea when UST projectors are such high quality.

    Great 4K projector

The LTV 3000 pro is an awesome projector. I have it paired with a 120 inch AWOL floor rising screen and it looks amazing. The picture is bright for most settings, but I do need to cover the windows during the day to get the best picture, particularly for movies with dark scenes. Sports look great even in brighter light as those images tend to be bright. I watched the NFL on it all season long and it was awesome. If you have a very bright room or can't control the light some, you may want to get the 3500. The setup is easy in that you don't have to mount it to the ceiling like a standard projector. It does take some time to get the image lined up with the screen. But once you get it right, you don't have to mess with it again. The included Fire TV stick is a nice addition. The remote is simple but works well. I can control the Fire TV stick with it as well as my AVR, so I don't need to use 3 or 4 different remotes just to watch a movie. All in all, it's a great buy.

Amazed by the colors with this projector! Especially with Dolby Vision content. I use it projecting on a wall that is in a light controlled room. I wasn’t sure if the whites would be white as my wall is a beige color, but the whites still look white with this projector. It is bright in a dark room. Would recommend a clr screen if you have a lot of light in your room. I was looking for a projector that can play all the HDR formats and 3d. This projector does it.

    Lack of accountability on purchase

A screen was purchased with the UST-3000 Laser Projector. Installation was scheduled (with time taken off from my job) on 8/14, 8/21, 8/28, 9/4 … all rescheduled by Best Buy. I paid for this a month and a half ago without work being completed. Today (9/6/24) I visited the local Best Buy to clarify my disappointment of lack of service with the installation. After speaking with management, I have the profound opinion that no one wants to take responsibility for this unacceptable lack of service. I purchased these items, instead of buying from an online merchant, with expectations of a more reliable transaction. This proves not to be the case. Please explain to me why I should buy anything else from such an unreliable source.

Worth It for Lumens, eARC Atmos, Dolby Vision

I'm upgrading a two-year-old refurb Optoma CinemaX P2. That unit had a single laser and pixel shifting (I believe) to hit 4K. For late 2020, it was brilliant. Today—not so much—UST projectors are moving so fast. I had issues syncing to frame rates and color spaces, even with AppleTV, on the old projector. On the other hand, the AWOL LTV-3000 Pro does pretty much everything I want out of a projector, minus better industrial design and DisplayPort. It has three lasers, oodles of brightness, and is every bit as quiet as the Optoma. I'm sure there's a reason to upgrade to the LTV-3500 Pro if money is no issue, but I personally could find better things to do with the $2000 premium than another 500 lumens. I'm even using the same calibration settings on my 3000 as I would on the 3500. I don't bother with the Amazon Fire Stick it comes with, opting for a 4K AppleTV, NVIDIA Shield TV (no faster playback speed, but otherwise excellent video quality), and a Sonos Arc. I'm delighted that this unit has eARC so I can access Atmos audio, which I could not do on the old unit. If you ping the support WhatsApp group, you'll get better calibration settings than the default ones, reducing blue light a little bit. I couldn't tell if it was the blue light or the brightness, but the intensity dazzled both me and my wife's eyes, perhaps because we've both had Lasik and the contrast is so insane. (I think the calibration settings helped fix this.) I'm currently running this on a 100" Vava 4K linear ALR screen. Alignment is pretty good, but the horizontals of the screen have sagged since I installed it two years ago, and the corners are starting to wrinkle. I picked up the Fresnel 100" Lenticular ALR screen in a Black Friday deal, so hopefully the corner blur-distortion wrinkles I see now will soon be a thing of the past. That leads me to the price, which is great here if you don't want a screen combo. You've found the best price for the standalone product. Lastly, I've tried to install a few Android apps on the projector itself, with limited success for Windy. I had better success with Kindle and other apps on my old Optoma projector, but of course, that's what the Fire stick is for. I just don't really invest in the Amazon ecosystem: I'd prefer Google Chromecast and AppleTV. I can't wait to try gaming and 3D on this projector!

This is one high-performance projector! Believe the reviews. I did my research and came up with a few projectors. Ultimately I believed the AWOL LTV-3000 to be the best bang for your dollars. If you're thinking of getting into a UST projector, You will be pleased with AWOL.

Best DLP 4k projector on the Market

Absolutely blown away by the AWOL Vision 3000 Pro with 3D! This projector has completely transformed my home theater experience into something out of a sci-fi movie. First off, the picture quality is unreal—4K UHD with ultra-bright, laser-powered visuals that stay vivid even in a well-lit room. Colors pop, blacks are deep, and the contrast is phenomenal. But where the 3000 Pro really shines is with its 3D capability. I’ve never seen 3D like this outside of a professional cinema. It’s crisp, immersive, and makes you feel like you're right in the action. Watching 3D movies at home has become a full-on event. The ultra short throw design means I don’t need to mount it across the room—just place it close to the wall and boom, you’ve got a massive screen that looks incredible. Setup was easy, the Android interface is smooth and intuitive, and the built-in sound system is surprisingly powerful, though I paired it with my surround sound for the full experience. Whether you're a movie lover, a gamer, or just someone who wants the absolute best in home entertainment, the AWOL Vision 3000 Pro delivers. This is hands-down the most exciting tech upgrade I’ve made in years. Highly, highly recommended!

    Awol Projector Review

I have been scoping out this projecter for years. Envisioning it in my media room. I truly underestimated the true potential of lasers as a form of projection. The colors seem as accurate as an oled screen, with only a slight bit of grey. The brightness is magnificent, even with ambient light. The 3000 lumens are a game changer, ive even had to turn down the brightness since my primary usage is in a closed dark room. I tested this in the loft (4 big windows) as well, which most of the colors are still very accurate, with very little washout. Ive tested this with a screen size if about 140 ", the image still looked as a clear as at 85 inches. Im sure if i tested to the advertised 150 ", it wouldnt dissapoint. Defintely this will blow your mind if used in a dark room. The colors pop out and make content seem like its 3d even with regular 4k media. This was tested on a flat wall paint. I can only imagine what an alr screen would do. 3d content looks amazing on this projector with the glasses from alr, best imax-like experience at home. I tested avatar 2 and it looks just as good as watching in a quest vr headset. Overall i would recommend this to a setup in a living room with some ambient lighting. If there is lot of lighting I would recommend the 3500.

    Like the LTV-2500... but brighter.

My LTV-2500 AWOL projector setup is in a low light home theater environment, therefore, it didn't require the added brightness of the LTV-3000. The following comments apply to both models. - Amazing picture... especially with Dolby Vision content. - Screen's size, and quality are important considerations. > Sitting 7 feet from a 100" screen is totally immersive. > Quality... I chose an AWOL's ALR-C-100"-120" Screen. - Unit's sound quality is surprisingly good, however, upgrading the audio will further enhance your viewing experience. Dolby Atmos audio is unbelievable! - For me, 3D is the ultimate home theater experience and this projector delivers. The grandkids, especially, are completely mesmerized! - "Fitting/adjusting" the projected image to the screen can be challenging, The user's manual is detailed and well illustrated. Should you need assistance, AWOL's tech support is VERY helpful.

I'm so glad we made the jump to purchase this projector. Previously, we had an Epson in the back of our living room with an HDMI cable going under the couch and a rug. It was unsightly and the projector fan was fairly loud. The AWOL Vision negates that type of setup and has an improved picture quality that cannot be beat even with the lights on. With blackout curtains, it's like you're in a movie theater. It makes zero noise. Getting the projector set up was easy and the menu is also easy to navigate. Make sure you pay attention to the size and weight so you know what to expect from that standpoint. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased AWOL 3000 pro and 120 cinematic screen. It was very easy and straight forward to set up. The picture quality is great with the triple laser and the support for 3d is a cherry on top. It is not noisy like its competition and I would recommend this product.

Couldn't quite do a 4 1/2 rating. This is a fantastic UST projector. Bright, great color reproduction and 3D to boot. What's not to like. Well for a 3 laser projector, It might have chromatic aberration, it is relatively normal for projectors, even high end cinema projectors have this. I don't see it all watching content.

I've been using this projector for over a month now, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with the purchase. Here are some pros and cons I've noticed: Pros: 1. The image quality is excellent. 2. It's quiet. I never notice any noise while it's working (though it's never particularly hot where I live). 3. The user interface is convenient, and I was pleasantly surprised that the built-in media player can open large MKV files. 4. The sound quality is better than I expected, but of course it's not comparable to a dedicated audio system. Cons: 1. Adjusting the picture can be tricky. The projector's legs are hard to rotate. This makes adjustments complicated —you often end up moving the entire projector, which causes you to lose your position. 2. It requires a relatively large distance from the screen to project properly. 3. The Fire Stick setup is clumsy, for instance, the sound adjustment on the stick's remote never worked for me. 4. The projector's remote is difficult to use in the dark and would benefit from a backlight. It also feels a bit cheap.
