Back to School is arguably one of Rodney Dangerfield's best movies (Save Caddyshack). Finding it on Blu-Ray for $5 was a steal and a no-brainer.

Though the plot is kind of silly, the focus of a father joining his son while at college was funny. There was no profanity or un-respectful adult scenes in the movie, just good down to earth Rodney Dangerfield fun and laughs. The movie was just down right funny. The extra appearance by Sam Kinnosin made for even more laughs. This is a perfect movie when it has been a rough day at work, or your having a BBQ with friends, or you just want to sit back with your family or partner.

A blast from the past, Back To School is Dangerfield at his mid-career. It was too early to hit it big, but he'd definitely been noticed. When his nephew starts to think about dropping out of school, Thornton Melon (Dangerfield) enrolls to help motivate him to stay in school. Being a self-sustained man, Thornton hires people to come in and do the work for him and throws wild parties in the dorm, completely defeating the motivational purpose for him being there. Can Thornton get his act together and help his nephew graduate? The film features great appearances from Robert Downey Jr. and Oingo Boingo, doing a great cameo as the band playing at Melon's dorm party. Reccomended!

Its a must have movie in your collection. Extremely funny!

HYSTERICAL movie and Dangerfield may be better in this than in Caddyshack. Maybe. Just a quality comedy and a classic indeed.

I had this on DVD and had to get on BluRay. If you like Rodney Dangerfield comedy this was one of his best - not too much, just right. Sam Kinison appearance as Professor was hilarious - "say it, say it .. . . Say it"

Another 80's Classic Comedy.One of Rodney's best films.Also has music by Danny Elfman.The big party scene at the end features his former band Oingo Boingo with Elfman on lead guitar and vocals.Awesome movie Highly Recommended!

I stumbled on the movie looking for Christmas presents, and I just had to pick it up for myself. Has been over 20 years since I've seen it, and welcome it into my library of movies.

Rodney Dangerfield is hysterical in this movie. This movie is very underrated and I guess it's because every movie he was in is compared to Caddyshack.

This is one funny movie from one setup joke to another. Great cast. If your looking for just a fun movie this is it. You might want to replay it to get all the one liners.

Back To School is a sadly undervalued 1980's comedy. It's not a classic, but it's definitely worth watching. Especially for a young Robert Downey, JR at his smarmy best

Rodney Dangerfield's best movie! Featuring a young Robert Downey, Jr. and a cameo from one my favorite writers Kurt Vonnegut this is a comedy not to be missed.

For the price, it's not hard at all to recommend this blu-ray, whether you are upgrading or adding to you collection for the first time.

Rodney Dangerfield is a class act - sort of- in this movie. Good story, with lots of laughs. Love the scene with Kurt Vonnegut.

This is my favorite move from Rodney Dangerfield. It brings back great memories. Definitely check this out if you like 80's comedy.
