Pros:
*The Batmobile: They overused the Batmobile in this game, maybe because it'll be the first AND LAST Arkham game to have it. So, either be happy that your gliding days are over, or cry because there will be parts of the game where you'd rather be able to use the Batmobile instead of going there by yourself to beat up a myriad of thugs while you escape the shield bashing, stun sticks and the eventual turret or drone aiming at you.
*Improved graphics brought by next-gen consoles.
*The new Batsuit: On the PS4 the new Batsuit looks GORGEOUS. Do note, however, that the Batsuit will not look perfect throughout the game. By the end of the game you're going to wish they let you change back to the older model, however, this new Batsuit allows you to do so many new things (that will be added below) that even if you were given this choice, you wouldn't go back to the older one. On your second playthrough (to get the platinum or remaining achievements you WILL need to play New Game +) you can get a version of the suit that does not show damage, ever. You can also use your DLC suits too, and change whenever you want.
*Gadgets have been enhanced on this game, and with the new suit, the Batmobile can launch Batman as if he were a rocket into the air, with the improved grappler, and the "railgun-like Batman eject seat" from the Batmobile, you can glide as fast as ever, sometimes it's even faster than actually driving the rocket-powered Batmobile.
*LOTS of bosses: As always, you can choose who you're going after by solving lots of cases. On your first playthrough, you might want to take them all. First because it'll be easier. Second because the XP system is basically gone, and you get way more upgrade points for your gadgets/batmobile doing these missions than beating up thugs on the streets (which generally won't give you any XP at all, just a health recharge.)
*Original story. I gotta say I'm impressed with Rocksteady for making this game WITHOUT the Joker as the main villain. I just don't agree with who they chose to be the main villain: Scarecrow. I, for one, would rather have the Arkham Knight instead of Scarecrow as the main villain. You might agree with me if you already played the game.
*LOTS LOTS LOTS of plot twists, and some interesting choices to make down the road.
*A big city to explore. Although the game will force you to stay focused on only one part of it for a while. After the boring missions, you're free to roam. However, this is an Arkham game, so all the doors are likely to be closed when you find them for the 1st time.
*Riddles everywhere!
*FEAR Takedowns. If you love bullet-time effects, one-hit takedowns, scared thugs screaming before being knocked out, and an elaborate strategy to group at least 2 guys near one another and on a specific position (usually near the grate you're under, on the other side of a breakable wall or right beneath you when you're on the ceiling) so you can take them down fast, then this is for you.
*Catwoman looks cute, so does Barbara, Harley... (I HAD to add that. Especially for Catwoman. Rawr!)
Cons:
*The game will get old after a while. The good part of the story/game are the Arkham Knight, Scarecrow, and an old friend who pays a visit to Batman every now and then. Other than that, it gets old because you're either on a tank battle with your Batmobile, or you're beating more thugs than the entire Expendables crew could ever fight against (except Chuck Norris, as we all know he can banish evil from the universe with a roundhouse kick)
*There are basically no boss fights in this game. All you do is beat up a bunch of thugs, then beat SOME of the bosses a little, until the fight is over.
*Some AR Challenges are a pain to complete, just because the game wants you to become a god on certain activities. For example, there's an AR challenge where you can't be hit, and the screen is full of ninjas. I get it, it's supposed to be hard, but some are just frustrating.
*Knightmare (the New Game+) difficulty is REALLY difficult when you begin the game. You take double/triple damage, deals half or less damage, and the best feature: You don't get the "cue" of when the enemy will strike or shoot so you can counter/evade, so expect to die. A LOT. Especially on boss battles.
*Unlike Arkham City, there will be a lot of characters around, like Robin, Catwoman and Nightwing. But unlike Arkham City, you cannot play with any of them.
*The ending is lame. I won't spoil it, but you're probably going to hate it too.
*Batwing was inserted on the game, but you can't fly it.
*I wish some parts of the game (with the old friend I mentioned above to prevent spoilers) were different. If I could, I'd make it differently, but Rocksteady can't please everybody, so I have to accept what they did.

The ability to drive the Batmobile really took this game over the top. The graphics are amazing, story line is deep and engaging, and there is enough to do ALL THE TIME. In fact, there is almost too much to do. If you love completing riddles, there are over 200 in hidden locations around the HUGE open world map. A map which you are able to freely roam from the start of the game (although not with your batmobile by your side) without having to "unlock" it. Fighting style remains the same with a few new tweaks to the moves to make it look cooler. I thought it would be difficult to operate the batmobile after watching the trailers, but it is actually really easy to operate. They did a great job.

If you're a batman fan, or DC fan overall, you will most likely find this game to be a fantastic experience.
Gameplay: The action in this game is even more seemless than the last 3 Arkham games. There are new gadgets at Batman's disposal, and a number of characters you will be able to play as during the story.
Story: The Story in my opinion is one of the best of the series. Great voice acting, jump scares, plot twists, with a dark-ery feel to it.
Bat Mobile Gameplay: Some people like the Bat Mobile gameplay in this. Others don't. I am in between. It is amazing to dive off the roof tops as the Dark Knight straight into your Bat Mobile. It is very fun ejecting Batman from the car anytime, straight up into the sky. But be aware: you'll be using the Bat Mobile for a large part of the Story Missions in this game. Racing/Car Chases/Tank-like battles.
Replay Value: There are 3 endings to the game. One ending requires you to collect ALL Riddler trophies, and complete ALL Most Wanted missions. So if you're into that, it'll be a while before you complete this game fully. If you're just going for the story, it should take around 8-11 hours depending on difficulty and skill.
Conclusion: This game was well worth the money in my opinion. I had a blast playing it. The Dark Story, Humorous moments, Action-Packed Gameplay, and surprises kept me on the edge of my seat. I almost forgot what "Outside" was for a week. And I'm not a huge Batman fan, either.
Cons: Bat Mobile use MIGHT be exhausting to some after using it for at least %50 of Story Missions/ Riddles/ Etc.

I really enjoyed Arkham Knight. The addition of the Batmobile while taking a bit of getting used to brought a fresh element to the Arkham series. Gotham City is huge and full of things to do. The graphics really bring the city to life. The fighting mechanics are solid as usual with some nice additions, especially when joined by a ally! The story is very well done. Overall great game and highly recommended. Sad to say goodbye to the series....

I have purchased all of the Batman Arkham games to date and they are all excellent and this is no exception. Good story, voice acting and animated cut scenes. Gameplay is what I have come to expect, of course had to get used to it again. The new batmobile features are cool to have and after learning the subtleties of controlling it, has become a fun part of the game. Only 9% in so far but I think its awesome.

I only kind of liked the first two Rocksteady Batman games, but this one is so much fun. Driving the Batmobile/Tank is awesome, and the story is excellent. As a Batman Comic reader, there were some minor plot points spoiled, but that's what you get with an excellent adaptation of the source material. The big twist definitely caught me by surprise. Loved the game!

This game was a joy to play. I originally purchased it on the PC and later got a refund due to the horrible optimization and bugs (Warner Brothers actually recalled the PC version of the game). Fortunately I had only spent 1-1.5 hours playing the PC version. I then purchased this game (PS4) from Best Buy and have no regrets. The graphics look amazing on the PS4 and the game played smoothly. I don't remember how many hours that it took me to beat the game but if I had to guess I'd say around 15-20 hours.
I didn't purchase the DLC pass just yet, I'll probably do that when half of the content has already been released (why pay full price to get 1/6 of the DLC upfront). I don't want to spoil the story of the game but I was really satisfied with it.
Pros:
+Great game length
+Graphics look good
+Fun gameplay
+Game properly optimized
+Has a decent amount of side content (side missions) that can be worth completing (no spoilers here)
+Batmobile is fun...for a while
Cons:
-No real boss fights outside of the batmobile
-Batmobile is forced too much.

This is truly the next generation version of rocksteadys Batman series. Its a 9/10 masterpiece. The combat is as smooth as it ever and even more complex. The story is great. And now the open world is much larger and they added the Batmobile. There's not much more you could ask for from a Batman game.

Improving upon the strong gameplay standard Rocksteady established with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Arkham Knight is the conclusion to the series and certainly goes out with a bang. The combat remains the same wonderful, flowing combat as before, with new enemy types included to spice up fights. The Batmobile is of course a critical aspect of the game and is super fun to drive and use but is perhaps a bit overused for the various missions the game has to offer. Stealth segments don't show up nearly as much as they used to but are still present and provide more fun, predatory experiences for players. And without giving too much away, there's an entire character arc persisting throughout the game that, well, personally I believed it was the best part of the game in how it was handled.
That being said, the game does fall a bit short, with essentially no boss fight unlike the previous entries in the series, save for Batmobile-based ones which aren't all that exciting. The plot is also fairly loose and several characters don't get the treatment they deserve.
While the game IS a fantastic game, it's touted as the conclusion to the Arkham series and the definitive Batman experience and yet, it doesn't feel like the definitive Batman experience. There's so much untapped potential for a better Batman game than this and it is disappointing to know that Rocksteady is abandoning it for other projects given their track record for building upon previous games for sequels. Still, it's a good, solid game that I'd recommend to just about anyone.

This game is absolutely phenomenal. You are placed in a much larger Gotham City and the level of detail is breathtaking. The developers have perfected the superhero video game with the Arkham series. I'm sad to see this end but am anxious to see if they have any other superheroes they want to bring to life.
I won't give away the plot, but understand that the side missions feel like main objectives and they seem to advance the main story. They're optional but are created to feel like you're not neglecting the main story. I love the use of weapons, the fight scenes, and the batmobile. It's not secret that it's a part of the gameplay, but the level of detail in the car is beyond what I expected.
Anyone playing this will not be disappointed. Looking forward to beating it and playing any DLs.

Arkham Knight is without a doubt the best in the arkham franchise. Continuing from where arkham city left off this is certainly the darkest and most mature of all the games. The free flow combat is back and even deeper this time with new gadgets and special finishers you can perform. The biggest addition to Arkham Knight would have to be the ability to finally use the batmobile, which is not only used for missions and challenges but can be incorporated into the combat as well. The story is quite good and there are plenty of twists and turns along the way. With the amount of content in this game it's quite the steal. Overall I would say if you enjoyed any of the other games this should be a no brainer. I'd highly recommended this to anyone who enjoys good story along with solid gameplay.

Arkham Knight is a great Batman game. I can't say if it's my favorite Arkham game because of some things that occur near the end of the game. I'll try to keep this review as spoiler free as possible. There is a lot to love in this iteration of the Arkham series. The combat feels crisp and fluid. Exploring Gotham City is fun. The side missions were my favorite part of the game. The Firefly missions and mystery serial killer missions are a high point. The main story is kind of lackluster but the addition of a certain sidekick makes the whole thing worth while. The one thing that really sucked out my enjoyment of the game were the many bat-tank battles. There are so many of them and they happen so often I found my self dreading any progression made in the game. As soon as I knew I was in a tank battle I would heavily sigh, roll my eyes and begrudgingly make my way through it. These tank missions soured my experience with the game. You might love this part of the game, I did not. At all. Every other part of the game is great, but temper your expectations.

My Overall Experience with this Game has been Very Positive.
The Graphics are pretty decent.
The Game Play is really fun with an Engaging Story Line, while the Side Quests Add more Replay Value. I've read some complaints about the excessive use of the Batmobile, but I did not find using it to be bothersome, and once you get to Perfect your Driving Skills, it can actually be Pretty Fun.
There are a lot of ways to take down the Thugs around the City. You can Either out Smart them, go in silently, or straight up, go on the full offensive.
One of the Best Super Hero Games. Now, lets hope that we can get a Man of Steel game like this!

I was skeptical of this title at first. I felt Arkham City was one of the greatest games of all time, with an intensely deep and rich storyline, and innovative and simplistic gameplay. A game thats hard to top. Those of you who have played the game know what I mean. Arkham Knight excels City in every way. new gadgets, new moves, oh yeah and the batmobile (seriously, you can't understand how awesome it is until you try it.) The story is just as deep, dark, and engaging as Arkham City, Bottom line is that everyone should have this game in their collection. This is the definitive Batman experience, be The Batman.

So without getting into any spoilers I'll just say this... The game is exactly what you expect out of an Arkham game. The combat is tight, the story is fun, and the side missions and collectibles are numerous. It really delivers on almost every level. My main complaint is the overuse of the batmobile. I was hoping it would just be an option to traverse faster through Gotham but expect to be spending a lot of time solving puzzles and in combat in the batmobile. It's still a great game but this along with a bad launch on pc might make some want to wait to play through the final installment of this series.

If you enjoyed the first installments of this series then you will love this one!! The open world feel is amazing, no more gliding forever to get from place to place, you get to fully utilize the bat mobile and it is even requires for a ton of the content! The graphics are very smooth and well done, I play on a ps4 on a 55 inch high end 4k TV which upscales the graphics to even better than the 1080p and I never have any drops in frame rates. The storyline is fairly well done but the gameplay itself is where this one really warns its 5 star rating from me. I have been a huge fan of the franchise and my biggest complaint is that it is over sad face!! In the beginning of the game when you incinerate the joker was a surprise but don't worry he is not completely gone and you get to put up with his antics from just a little way into the game. The combat in the games is just as seem less as it ever has been and I just love hitting a 30 point combo which is both as easy yet more difficulty than before due to new enemy weapons and armor. There seems to be endless combat with the batmobile vs drones of all types including helicopters and some even have missile lock which allows you to blow their missiles out of the sky. There are two different types of control for the batmobile one of course is balls to the wall all out race car type driving with upgradable afterburners that allow you to catch up to enemy vehicles as well as give you the speed to drive upside down in circular motion while you are in tunnels to avoid walls that you cannot blast through. The Arkham knight himself admittedly is a weak character at best but he is just really the number 2 villain, scarecrow is calling all the shots (for the most part) and he of course is great at narrowly escaping you by holding hostages and such. Back to the batmobile, it is equipped with I winch type device that allows you to pull down walls, have the batmobile hang vertically along walls to accomplish certain tasks and one of the best features is that you have a remote control for it so you can control it from afar to get it to kill enemies and blast through walls that you cannot get to with the explosive gel. The weapons are more or less the same however they are used differently than the previous "chapters" of the game, meaning that before the bat law for instance was heavily used previously but now it is really mainly used for combat situations rather than pulling down walls and such. I could go on forever about this game but in the end a quick review would be something like this: this is by far the best game of the series, the graphics are amazing and the fast paced action will leave you breathless! A must buy for anyone who enjoyed the previous game or any open world game in the past!

Even though the game does have a familiarity with GTO, this is a fantastic new twist on the classic video game franchise of Batman: Arkham Asylum. The batmobile interface is fresh. The tag team fighting is great, and the FEAR factor is a nice option for new takedown moves. The story is very dark and gritty, and yet still mesmerizing at the same time. The batmobile does need some getting used to, especially with chases, and the controls for the gadgets is a little hard to adjust to, since Sony for some reason changed it, but it is a well thought out game. A great end to a classic franchise.

Going into Arkham Knight, my expectations were high. I thought they would be way too high to be met. Rocksteady pulled through though. This is the best Arkham game to date in my opinion. They built and refined off of everything that made Arkham Asylum and City so amazing. Combat is still as smooth as silk, graphics are outstanding and story is solid. A few minor negatives I have are the length of the main story (too short) and the Batmobile sections get tedious and repetitive. Minor inconveniences that don't take away at all from the 5 star experience you get with Arkham Knight!
