Batmobile Simulator 2k15
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Batman: Arkham Knight is a must have for any fan of the prior games for several reasons. +Single player game is entirely playable offline. Internet broadband only needed for DLC content. +Large, open world city lets you progress as you wish shortly into the game, choosing missions or secondary goals at will. +Smooth controls, responsive and effective on foot and in vehicle. +Batmobile is a worthy new addition to the series and very effective against many enemies and obstacles Batman alone couldn't handle. It acts as a major assistant, showing up when you need its help. Control by remote control or directly as a driver. Tank mode or car mode. +City is 5+ times larger than Arkham City. 2 sections unlocked shortly after the Ace Factory is dealt with. Night time setting most times. +Ascend to the highest building to jump off and glide, or assess the city from above. +Environmental puzzles require cleverness to solve. If an entry is blocked, think of the tools available to help you. +Challenging fighting game combat with all new moves and abilities. +Depending on the situation, many playable characters to control. +Surprise character plays a big part in the story of Batman. +Robin lends a hand to help out at points in the game, along with other allies. +Clear out the city of ground tanks to explore on foot more safely, aside from gangs. +Bat seat from your vehicle launches Batman high into the air for maximum gliding exploration. +Easy, normal, hard difficulties. +Mission variety is great. Many different goals to progress through the game at your pace. +Grappling hook can catapult Batman high into the air when ascending. +Control layout very similar to prior games. Batmobile may take time to learn the new controls. +Graphics very detailed as in prior games, and 1080p this time. 49 GB minimum installation. Unreal Engine used for graphics. +Huge game with lots of unique, fun and challenging missions. +Nice variety of locations, interiors, underground areas, etc. City blocked off by bridges after story evacuation. +Fight against famous enemies. Scarecrow, Penguin, Two Face, Riddler, Poison Ivy, and more. +Lots of classic voice actors return, including Batman's Kevin Conroy. +PS4 version includes DLC: Scarecrow Nightmare Missions in a nightmare version of the city, and 3000 Batman & '60's Adam West costume. Only negatives I can think of at the time: -Early on, the rain doesn't let up, as it constantly pours hours into the game without any sign of slowing down till you advance further. -Outer city limits in the distance can't be reached, so you'll see basic city background buildings, but it's inaccessible. -Not all prior areas are present from past games in this expanded city, but that's a minor complaint. If you enjoyed Arkham Asylum or Arkham City, also from Rocksteady, this Batman is a must buy to complete the trilogy. Awesome game.

The hero we need, on the game we want!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Batman Arkham games have been a pretty good series and Arkham Knight is no exception. It's a fun game with beautiful graphics and a fairly interesting, if not original Batman storyline. While I haven't fully completed the game, yet, I am enjoying it immensely and can't wait to finish to see how it will all end. This game seems more suspenseful and much darker than previous games. I really think and hope that the Arkham series is ending on a high note. If you have played both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, then you are in for a treat. As for Origins, it was good, but not as good as the first two and Knight might very well be on par, it not surpassing, the first two Arkham games as quality goes. Playing the batmobile is a little awkward and has a little bit of a learning curve, but you feel almost unstoppable when driving around in it. So in conclusion, this is definitely a title to pick up this year.

Fantastic game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you enjoyed the first installments of this series then you will love this one!! The open world feel is amazing, no more gliding forever to get from place to place, you get to fully utilize the bat mobile and it is even requires for a ton of the content! The graphics are very smooth and well done, I play on a ps4 on a 55 inch high end 4k TV which upscales the graphics to even better than the 1080p and I never have any drops in frame rates. The storyline is fairly well done but the gameplay itself is where this one really warns its 5 star rating from me. I have been a huge fan of the franchise and my biggest complaint is that it is over sad face!! In the beginning of the game when you incinerate the joker was a surprise but don't worry he is not completely gone and you get to put up with his antics from just a little way into the game. The combat in the games is just as seem less as it ever has been and I just love hitting a 30 point combo which is both as easy yet more difficulty than before due to new enemy weapons and armor. There seems to be endless combat with the batmobile vs drones of all types including helicopters and some even have missile lock which allows you to blow their missiles out of the sky. There are two different types of control for the batmobile one of course is balls to the wall all out race car type driving with upgradable afterburners that allow you to catch up to enemy vehicles as well as give you the speed to drive upside down in circular motion while you are in tunnels to avoid walls that you cannot blast through. The Arkham knight himself admittedly is a weak character at best but he is just really the number 2 villain, scarecrow is calling all the shots (for the most part) and he of course is great at narrowly escaping you by holding hostages and such. Back to the batmobile, it is equipped with I winch type device that allows you to pull down walls, have the batmobile hang vertically along walls to accomplish certain tasks and one of the best features is that you have a remote control for it so you can control it from afar to get it to kill enemies and blast through walls that you cannot get to with the explosive gel. The weapons are more or less the same however they are used differently than the previous "chapters" of the game, meaning that before the bat law for instance was heavily used previously but now it is really mainly used for combat situations rather than pulling down walls and such. I could go on forever about this game but in the end a quick review would be something like this: this is by far the best game of the series, the graphics are amazing and the fast paced action will leave you breathless! A must buy for anyone who enjoyed the previous game or any open world game in the past!

Amazing game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew this game was going to be good, that I pre-ordered the game. I never pre-order games, I think the practice is terrible. I have to admit, this game blew my expectations. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is incredible, and the batmobile is so much fun to use. My biggest love of the game is how dark the story is and the dark sense of humor. That's been my criticism of recent superhero movies of late, how their stories are for kids and bland. I'm happy to report that arkham knight story is just as dark or even darker than the dark knight movie. This is a must have game. Game of the year in my book!

Bat-tastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a loyal Arkham Asylum fan since day 1 (I even wrote my thesis on the game!), I LOVED Arkham City, and despite some frustrations, enjoyed Arkham Origins for the most part. Although I was skeptical in the first few minutes of the game, Arkham Knight has proven to be fantastic so far - there is a good balance of story and action, and the introduction of the Batmobile brings a new dimension to the gameplay without dominating it too much as a shiny new toy. There is a significant amount of DLC available, but I wouldn't bother with the season pass unless you can pick it up on sale.

Loving it so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My experience so far has been great; no bugs, no hassles. The game looks amazing, and the new features are almost overwhelmingly fun. I'm so glad they've made the batmobile a larger piece of the game. My only (mild) complaint is the batmobile controls. It has a 'battle mode', which you enter by pressing the L2. Typically, L2 is 'brake', for most driving games, when using R2 for acceleration. Instead, brake is assigned to square. Just an odd choice, which many gamers seem to fumble with (see youtube). Obviously, you can adapt with time, and hardly takes away from this game. Best in the series

Great series - Great game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a Batman fan you will enjoy this game! I have played all the other games that tie into this series (include Asylum, City, and Origins) and this game lives up to the hype. If you are a fan of this genre and play style of game then this is an easy must by. Being the first game for the Dark Knight on PS4/Xbox 1 the graphics are incredible. I haven't gotten a chance to really dive into this game yet but so far so good, I am impressed! The only thing I would count as a knock against the game is the Batmobile. Controls could be a little better. Give this game a shot!

An excellent end to the Arkham Story
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The final chapter of Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy has all the best systems from their previous games, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City....plus one big new one, The Batmobile. Some things have been slightly improved from earlier titles, like the mission wheel, while the Batmobile (and its neat "tank mode") is a completely new and exciting way to take on baddies. The story is really quite good, with a twist you may or may not see coming, but should enjoy either way. Past characters with famous names return, but their are new ones, too. It really is the culmination of everything Rocksteady has built since beginning development of their first Batman game, Arkham Asylum. Arkham Knight is an excellent game with enough to do and experience to warrant its 60 dollar asking price. If you are a fan of Batman and video games, this is a no brainer.

Excellent game!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a big fan of Batman so I'll try to keep this review biased. I was a fan of the previous 2 games so I was really excited for this 3rd installment. I was not entirely disappointed. There is still the jumping from rooftops and beating up the bad guys but the Batmoblie.....is pretty cool. Although it takes a lot of getting used to handling it. I'm not as impressed on how much the game revolves around the Batmoblie. I'm about 1/3 though the game and I think I've spent more time having to use the Batmoblie than doing everything else. Whatever. It's still a great game!

Best in the series, despite serious problems.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The batmobile and everything related to it are either mediocre (weaponry, Riddler levels), irritating (batmobile centered levels, trophies ), rage-inducing (the controld themselves ), or seemingly designed by the Devil himself (the Riddler races, the Arkham Knight drill tank chase). I can not stress enough how horrible some of these are. After saying that, everything else in the game is such a fantastic improvent over all the entries in the series that it doesn't matter in the end. Controls, graphics, writing, voice acting; it's all spectacular. Buy this game.

Batman: Game of they Year?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game may be a contender for game of the year solely based on the fact that it is , when you get down to it, a great gaming experience. I have yet to finish the game to completion, but from what I've played so far it seems to be one of the best in the series. Give this game a chance, Even though some gamers have heard that the Batmobile is used too much, it takes some getting use to the controls, and the more you play, the more sense that it makes as to why Rocksteady put the Batmobile in the game. The game itself is massive, so that is why the Batmobile is in the game. Best Buy did a great job of advertising this game in their store that I go to also because a lot of people there, that didn't even know a new Batman game was coming out, soon knew because of their amazing advertising posters, standees etc.

great exciting game for batman/arkam knight lovers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is full of excitement energy and surprises. The game graphics and details are amazingly on point. In my experience of playing this game i found that the bat mobile was a little hard to use on some level but valuable concept.

Best of the series!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, I would have to say that this is the truly best of the Arkham series. The graphics, the story, the detail... All are amazing. The control is a little difficult to learn, moving to the newest generation concole. 8.4 out of 10

Very good game but not for all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In short, VERY interesting story even if you're like me and you don't know much about the Batman universe outside of Joker, Two-Face, Penguin and the Riddler. This game is mature, no doubt about it and there are a lot of surprises both in gameplay and in the story that kept me interested. That said, the combat is quite challenging even for someone that played through just the original Arkham Asylum and skipped the two ones after. I can't imagine a lot of people being able to finish this game as it feels like Ninja Guiden in terms of enemies that come at you and throw stuff that you won't see coming. Maybe it's me and I'm getting too old for these types of brawler games. Regardless, I think it is one of the better games to come out this year and I would recommend it no problem.

Visually brilliant and entertaining gameplay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having not played any of the previous Arkham series, I wasn't sure I would be able to immerse myself in this game despite positive reviews from my friends. It took a couple hours to really get in to the story but once I had a better understanding of the game it really took off! Visually it is very well done. Given how quickly the scenery changes, the graphics keep up and the lighting is still very sufficient. The Batmobile is a bit sluggish I'd say but it still makes an enjoyable part of the gameplay.

Great game for fans who played previous installmen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has all the intangibles of the other 2 games of batman. I thoroughly enjoyed this game but I also enjoyed playing the other two installments. I'm the type of gamer that can't finish a game to the end because it either does not challenge me or because the storyline is weak. That said, this game is addictive! I can say that I am a comic book fan and I appreciate the super hero genre. Nonetheless, this game really does a great job in keeping the gamer interested in the game because of a great storyline while leaving intact everything that worked on the other two games. This game is definitely worth the purchase. For the non comic book enthusiast, I suggest waiting until either a used copy is available or when the price drops.

A MASTER PIECE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Story ! Amazing Gameplay Variety ! Amazing Graphics ! Batmobile Is Awesome to drive around and fun, whoever is saying that the tank feels empty and out of place, well they're wrong lol. At the beginning it takes a while to get used to the controllers , but then it's awesome to use the tank! And really is helpful when you're driving full speed. A lot more Gadgets for Batman ! The game doesn't feel repetitive and side missions are excellent. Bottom line is ( You Really & Increasingly are BATMAN )
