Best batman game ever made. graphics are amazing, controls are responsive, story is well told, although if your a batman fan you will figure out tge plot twist early on. nicely done. only thing i didnt like was finding every trophy (300) in order to unlock full end cut scene. not really worth it.

Arkham Knight is simply amazing. some have criticized the amount of batmobile use, however I have been really enjoying all aspects of this game. There's tons to do, and the story is great.

Arkham Knight is closely related to its dark brethren - so close, you may feel as though you're playing the same game. It's got a compelling story and makes you feel as though you are the Batman. The Batmobile is tough to negotiate, but it's so cool, you may forgive the tough controls.

Become the Bat again in the spectacular conclusion to Rocksteady's arkham series. Gameplay is smooth as butter. No one has yet to make an action title with the fluidity of the free flow system that arkham has and this game even improves on the last one. The main story's play time is about 10-15 hours but the game has plenty of side quests called arkham's most wanted that will have you solving crimes and facing off with a few of the dark knights famous villains. There is the batmobile this time and it seems like it's either a hate it or love it type of situation. I love having the batmobile and it really is a joy to drive, but so many scenarios in the game made the batmobile seem forced and instead of enhancing the batman experience, it cheapened it. Game is beautiful with top knotch audio and video presentation. However, I didn't enjoy this one as much as Arkham City. Still an amazing game and fans of the Bat and even fans of the action genre, would do well to pick it up.

I've played all the other Arkham games and was super excited to see this one. It doesn't disappoint. It has everything you loved about the previous games: combat, flight, cut scenes, riddles, mysteries, and great visuals. It also adds in a new component, the batmobile. I'm not a fan of racing games so it took a while to win me over on this part of the game. I'd rather have not had it at all in the game, but once you get used to it, the vehicle just adds another level of challenge.
It is a bit mature for younger audiences, so kiddos need to be supervised or left to something less intense. Otherwise, go get it now and thank me later! :)

There are a lot of great things about this game and a few bad things, but I'll keep it short:
Pros:
Gadgets and abilities are cooler and more numerous than ever before
Villains are out in force, so many different mission chains
Side missions are very optional, no need to divert if you don't want to
Gotham is very alive and fluid, feels like you're right in the mix
Cons
Missions can become repetitive, but still not bad
Fighting mechanics have become waaay to plentiful, simplified would be better
Random fights can interfere with your gameplay
That's really about it for the main points. Great game and definitely recommend.

The Batman Arkham combat you've come to expect was here. It had a good story for the most part too with a few unexpected twists. The Batmobile is the biggest addition and its great for roaming around Gotham, you truly feel like Batman. The villains were solid and had a few good surprises, but the Arkham Knight himself was not good. I won't spoil anything, but the forced tank battles, Cobra Tanks, and the ______ Tank boss fight near the end was especially terrible. Getting that out of the way, the combat, freeroaming, sidequests, and infiltration are top notch as always. A near perfect Batman experience.

This game is beautiful. Best graphics I've seen for this gen so far. Amazing gameplay but the controls have changes since the others games so it'll take a little time to get use to. The Batmobile is awesome but seems pretty forced into the game because it is used a lot.

Before the Arkham games the Batman franchise has had a rocky reputation with video games. It's not until Rocksteady's surprise hit Batman: Arkham Asylum that really shook the video game community by surprise. That still hold true with their latest and final installment Batman: Arkham Knight.
The game let's you control Batman, and it really does an excellent job of making you feel like you're Batman. The combat, story, and gadgets all feel genuine to the world and it's characters.
The only negative thing I have to say about the game is the overuse of the Batmobile, I'd say you use it almost 40% of the game, and that's a lot. It almost feels forced, and after awhile it gets dull and repetitive. It also has a "tank" mode, which pulls me out of the experience, as it's something Batman won't ever do.
Overall it's a far from perfect game but still a fun experience and offer a great conclusion to the Arkham games.

The Batman Arkham games have been a pretty good series and Arkham Knight is no exception. It's a fun game with beautiful graphics and a fairly interesting, if not original Batman storyline. While I haven't fully completed the game, yet, I am enjoying it immensely and can't wait to finish to see how it will all end. This game seems more suspenseful and much darker than previous games. I really think and hope that the Arkham series is ending on a high note. If you have played both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, then you are in for a treat. As for Origins, it was good, but not as good as the first two and Knight might very well be on par, it not surpassing, the first two Arkham games as quality goes. Playing the batmobile is a little awkward and has a little bit of a learning curve, but you feel almost unstoppable when driving around in it. So in conclusion, this is definitely a title to pick up this year.

I knew this game was going to be good, that I pre-ordered the game. I never pre-order games, I think the practice is terrible. I have to admit, this game blew my expectations. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is incredible, and the batmobile is so much fun to use. My biggest love of the game is how dark the story is and the dark sense of humor. That's been my criticism of recent superhero movies of late, how their stories are for kids and bland. I'm happy to report that arkham knight story is just as dark or even darker than the dark knight movie. This is a must have game. Game of the year in my book!

I've been a loyal Arkham Asylum fan since day 1 (I even wrote my thesis on the game!), I LOVED Arkham City, and despite some frustrations, enjoyed Arkham Origins for the most part.
Although I was skeptical in the first few minutes of the game, Arkham Knight has proven to be fantastic so far - there is a good balance of story and action, and the introduction of the Batmobile brings a new dimension to the gameplay without dominating it too much as a shiny new toy. There is a significant amount of DLC available, but I wouldn't bother with the season pass unless you can pick it up on sale.

My experience so far has been great; no bugs, no hassles. The game looks amazing, and the new features are almost overwhelmingly fun. I'm so glad they've made the batmobile a larger piece of the game.
My only (mild) complaint is the batmobile controls. It has a 'battle mode', which you enter by pressing the L2. Typically, L2 is 'brake', for most driving games, when using R2 for acceleration. Instead, brake is assigned to square. Just an odd choice, which many gamers seem to fumble with (see youtube). Obviously, you can adapt with time, and hardly takes away from this game. Best in the series

Interesting story, fun game, love the batmobile and all the side missions you can do during the main game, lots of characters from the batman universe and the dlc is all good stuff to keep you playing. Ending threw me off a little and i wanted more on one part of the story that didnt close up very well but not worth dropping a star off. Just leaves it up to fan theories and all.

The final chapter of Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy has all the best systems from their previous games, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City....plus one big new one, The Batmobile. Some things have been slightly improved from earlier titles, like the mission wheel, while the Batmobile (and its neat "tank mode") is a completely new and exciting way to take on baddies.
The story is really quite good, with a twist you may or may not see coming, but should enjoy either way. Past characters with famous names return, but their are new ones, too.
It really is the culmination of everything Rocksteady has built since beginning development of their first Batman game, Arkham Asylum. Arkham Knight is an excellent game with enough to do and experience to warrant its 60 dollar asking price.
If you are a fan of Batman and video games, this is a no brainer.

I'm a big fan of Batman so I'll try to keep this review biased. I was a fan of the previous 2 games so I was really excited for this 3rd installment. I was not entirely disappointed. There is still the jumping from rooftops and beating up the bad guys but the Batmoblie.....is pretty cool. Although it takes a lot of getting used to handling it. I'm not as impressed on how much the game revolves around the Batmoblie. I'm about 1/3 though the game and I think I've spent more time having to use the Batmoblie than doing everything else. Whatever. It's still a great game!

This was the Best Batman game yet. I enjoyed the previous ones, and this story built off of them and took you even further into the Batman mythology. The game play, in all aspects is enjoyable. while some people didn't like the bat mobile, I enjoyed it immensely and thought that it worked for what it was. I even felt the occasional unwieldiness of it was realistic for something that powerful. The fighting action is dynamic and all of the villains were fun to beat. If you're a fan you'll love this game and even if you aren't you'll get sucked into it.

The batmobile and everything related to it are either mediocre (weaponry, Riddler levels), irritating (batmobile centered levels, trophies ), rage-inducing (the controld themselves ), or seemingly designed by the Devil himself (the Riddler races, the Arkham Knight drill tank chase). I can not stress enough how horrible some of these are. After saying that, everything else in the game is such a fantastic improvent over all the entries in the series that it doesn't matter in the end. Controls, graphics, writing, voice acting; it's all spectacular. Buy this game.
