Customers are pleased with the smooth and fun gameplay, compelling story, and the impressive Batmobile in Pre-Owned Batman: Arkham Knight. Many also enjoyed the open world, action sequences, and easy-to-learn controls. However, some found the tank battles repetitive and the driving sections challenging. The game's positive aspects, such as the voice acting and numerous side missions, generally outweigh these minor drawbacks for most players.

This game is simply beautiful. The gameplay is amazing. Batmobile takes a while to get used to but I suggest changing the Mode to 'Toggle' when you get the option to do so. The characters are the best I've seen in a batman game. Even the side missions are fun and the voice acting is all around fantastic.

Batman Arkham Knight is a terrific game and a delight to my collection. Rated M,, for the brutal violence, strong / coarse language and any other carnal behavior they could fit into this game without going too far. The game controls are easy to learn. The missions are adequately challenging. Overall this is exactly what one might expect from the Dark Arkham Knight on a next generation gaming platform. The graphics, at least the finishers, are to die for (yeah I went there).
If you like Batman, Action- Adventure games with a open environments, challenging missions that are easily playable with a bit of naughty language and some brutal villain dispatching. You will really enjoy this game. I've had continuous play for hours and I'm not yet done. it more than most as I was the lucky man who bought it while it was advertised for Best Buy's Deal of the Day. Game on, Gamer!

Where Do I Start? "Open" World, Story...Its A Freaking Rocksteady Batman Game. His Tank, Weapons, Team Ups... Its All Great. I Haven't Finished It Yet But Read There Were Multiple Endings...Yes Please. Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman...Come On!
$60 (Well I Had A Few Coups) And I Am A Rewards Card Member So It Was A Bit Cheaper. But You Can Easily Drop Some Major Gaming Time Into This, So It Is Definitely Worth $60.

I know a lot of reviews are mixed about this game, but I am here to clarify things. The game is the best one in the series. Especially since Rocksteady came back. The controls are pretty much the same as the previous games (why change a good thing?). The introduction of the batmobile is a good concept and gives the game variety for those looking for it. The graphics are amazing and the story is believable (when it comes to the Batman comics). It has a great open world with three islands, where all the previous games were limited to one. More islands, means more game play. You are not going to spend $60 and be done with this game in 5-10 hours. There is plenty to explore with the main mission and the 7 or 8 side missions. I would definitely recommend the game for someone.

Be the Batman! The story's structure does give you a sense of being Batman. You're the Dark Knight Detective. It's a game with puzzles in addition to the melee combat. Without giving away spoiler details, the plot involves Scarecrow endangering a ton of people. Batman answers the call to defend his city. They also add a good deal of Batman villans but I haven't seen them all yet. The visuals are stunning. You can see the rain rolling off Batman's suit and his cape as he glides through the sky. The combat mechanics are fun. You have a combo meter that you build up to do more cooler, complex moves. The game mixes fast, fluid combat with slow motion to capture some painful moments for the bad guys. The Batmobile is a beast. It can be hard to drive at times but it's interesting how the developers have made it a part of the game. There are some racing / timed missions along with vehicle combat. As you progress through the game's variety of missions, you unlock upgrades that impact your gadgets, Batsuit, combat moves, and the Batmobile. Voice acting is top notch. Kevin Conroy from the animated series returns to voice Batman along with Mark Hamill as the Joker. I'm only about 23% into the game according to my saves, but so far I'm having a blast!

I played a bit of the first two Arkham games and have really loved the combat, but never really played much of the story. Now I have dived into the story of this game and have absolutely loved it, and the combat Is still fantastic! This game will most likely make you jump out of your chair and make you scream "I AM BATMAN!!!!!" The moments are that good. Main difference between this and the other 3 arkham games is the ability to drive the batmobile, in which they did a really awesome job with and is much fun. There are also quite a bit of side missions along with the main story, and even more added content through the season pass that adds alot more depth to the game. My complaints if any about this game are very small, like wishing that you could hang off of ledges in certain ways when trying to be stealthy and things of that nature. But overall, super fantastic game, a must have.

Batman: Arkham Knight is the last in the Batman series of games (that have totally revised superhero gaming). It is well-written, with mostly awesome voice acting (a few choices seem odd, like Commissioner Gordon), amazing graphics, and a ton of action.
In the game, the Scarecrow has returned and Gotham City must evacuate because Scarecrow is going to release a horrifying new version of his fear gas. But Scarecrow has a partner in "The Arkham Knight," who looks like a mechanized version of Batman. And the Knight wants Batman dead, while Scarecrow just wants to drive Batman mad with fear and torture him with the destruction of Gotham City.
Almost all of Gotham City's roster of villains make major or minor appearances. The same goes for Batman's allies.
The biggest addition to this final game in the series is the ability to drive the Batmobile through the streets of Gotham City. Not only is the Batmobile good for racing through the streets to chase down evildoers in cars, it also has a tank mode with some pretty serious weaponry.
Overall, Batman Arkham Knight has everything most players could want in a new-gen video game.
And if you spring for the season pass, you'll also get downloadable adventures for other characters. I've gotten a DLC adventure for Batgirl already. And the Harley Quinn DLC adventure shipped with the first wave of Arkham Knight that went to Best Buy.

Batman: Arkham Knight is truly a great story and end to the cape crusader. But it also truly lacks in content and variety to the last two arkham games of the saga. Reason for saying this is that once you beat the story and get the real ending there is really nothing else in the game that brings you back to want more. Sure there are AR challenges but it's not the same as a challenge map where you can fight and beat records without limits. Unfortunately this game has no challenge maps and are replaced by a dumbed down version of it known as AR challenges. Really what AR challenges are is a simulation of certain combat situations. Sounds similar to a regular a challenge map only the difference is it's not as fun and is very short. The only way to obtain regular challenge maps is buying the season pass which is way over priced for 40 dollars. Another thing that is very dissapointing and at the same time awesome is the Batmobile. Why the Batmobile because the game actually forces you to use the Batmobile alot in the main storyline missions and lots of Riddler/side quests as well. Its very awesome to use but when the game abruptly wants you to use the Batmobile every 2-3 missions and use again on most Riddler/side quests it gets very annoying quickly. Finally the last but not least dissapointing key element to the game is the boss battles. SPOILER ALERT! After I beat the end of Arkham Knight but before I obtained the true ending I had a side quest that if I obtained 90% of its requirements I would go and face DeathStroke. By the time I bested him in what I thought was the first part of the battle I hoped for Batman and him to go at it fist to fist. Well no they don't and in the end of that battle I felt extremely dissatisfied and all you do when DeathStroke is out cold is you put him in the Batmobile and take him to GCPD. Almost every boss battle is like this. In the end the game was overall satisfying and fun. Would I recommend this game at full retail price....no but for 40 dollars and under yes.

Batman: Arkham Knight has been an amazing game to play. The gameplay was improved from Arkham City and makes it even more fun to play. Additionally, the story is fantastic, including many of the major characters without seeming gimmicky. Side quests also offer "intel" which shows you where they occur if you can't find the event locations by exploring.
The batmobile plays a major part in this game. While the mechanics of the batmobile are amazing and it's very natural to control it, I felt that it was over-emphasized just a bit much. The emphasis wasn't anything distracting/detracting from the story, I would have personally preferred a lighter showing from it.
There are a few bugs in the game, most notably one where enemies can get stuck inside of walls or other objects during fights. This has been mostly comical for me though, and has resulted in only minor setbacks since the game saves very frequently. My game also froze/crashed twice during play, which again, resulted in only a minor inconvenience due to the frequency of checkpoint saves.
Overall, a fantastic game. I've been greatly pleased.

To me, this one is the best of the series. The M rating might scare away the younger teenage audience (well, maybe more so their parents), but it's still alittle bit more like a T rated game. It has a few more mature moments, but it's nothing that kids who play call of duty or halo couldn't handle. Also, it's not much worse than the Dark Knight movie trilogy. But back to the game: the cinematics are incredible. The gameplay is loads of fun and will take more than just a day or two to complete because there's a lot to do. Being able to use the Batmobile is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. And the story is pretty incredible, especially for fans of the comics and those that know of some of the better Batman stories, such as Death in the Family and The Killing Joke. As an added bonus, you can achieve multiple endings to the game depending on how much of it you complete. I could go on, but I would end up spoiling the game. It's definitely worth the buy and is an awesome ending to Rocksteady's incredible version of the world of Batman.

Honestly the best game I've played this year, although I haven't played Witcher 3 yet, which I heard was amazing as well. Anyways tons of action. You will never be bored throughout the game including its side missions and all. The graphics are amazing, fighting got a huge enhancement from the previous installments and you can finally use his BATMOBILE! What more could you ask for? The fighting style is the same as the previous installments. However, you can tell that the flow and mechanics have improved greatly. They also added different finishers, introduced more gadgets into free fighting, dual takedown combos, etc. The upgrade interface and system has vastly improved as well. You can upgrade his suit, batmobile, batmobile weapons, gadgets. combat, and gadget skills. Story will keep you intrigued from start to finish with crazy and unexpected plot twists and diversified side missions.

I would highly recommend that everyone gets this game. It's pretty amazing, Being Batman is just so much fun in general but the things in this game separates it from the others. The map is bigger, the mystery of who the Arkham Knight is pretty awesome, The story in general is pretty amazing, upgrades, 240 riddler trophies, endless side missions for extra stuff to do but I think the coolest thing in this game besides being batman is the addition of the batmobile its honestly really cool just using it weather you are in it or controlling it remotely. Like I said this game is amazing, definitely a game of the year contender I would purchase it if I were you its worth the price esp if you have Gamers Club Unlocked

Loved this game. (No spoilers included in this review) The plot is solid in this one, with at least 12 hours of straight through gameplay. Plenty of side missions to keep you busy with the Riddler, Two Face, Penguin, Harley Quinn, Man Bat, Main Antagonist ScareCrow, and the newest being the Arkham Knight. There's no running back and forth to the bat cave a million times and there are three rather large islands to explore as well. The controls are good the graphics are excellent, and the cinematics are pretty awesome. But rated M for Mature, I wouldn't recommend this title for kids because of the violence and it gets a little dark in the story line. Overall, definitely worth it!

A Great Game, But Has Some Flaws

Batman: Arkham Knight, the final installment of Rocksteady's excellent Arkham franchise, is an awesome game that is brought down a notch due to a few crucial flaws. Everything about this game bleeds quality and attention to detail. The Gotham that has been created by Rocksteady is magnificent and is also probably the most detailed open world in a game you can currently buy. On top of that, the combat in the game is as good as it has ever been and the Batmobile is a really cool addition. However, it is overused a tad too much. The story, while good, can also be extremely predictable, especially for hardcore fans of the Batman mythology. Also, if you really looked forward to the boss encounters in the previous games, you will be sadly disappointed with this one. There is only one real boss in the game and even that one isn't very good. However, if you have enjoyed the previous Arkham games, then this will be right up your alley (no pun intended). The awesome characters, world, and gameplay are sure to satisfy for it's 15 to 20 hour length.
