Batman Ninja is by all estimations a great movie. DC Animated has done it again. But through no fault of their own and as a direct result of my poor vision, I read it as Batman Nunja. Thinking that it was some crossover when Batman became a ninja AND a nun, I was very excited to see this next evolution of the timeless character. I watched with glee as we saw the ninja part, but alas, there is no portion where Batman joins the Catholic Church. RECAP: BATMAN DOES NOT BECOME A NUN IN BATMAN NINJA!!! PASS IF THAT IS WHAT YOU WERE EXPECTING.

Look, the graphics are cool, but it is still pretty cheesy. Wait until you can this for like 6 bucks.

I'll start with saying I'm a fan of animated movies, but not really a huge Batman fan. That being said I thought this was a really nice shift from the standard "American" super hero movie. Definitely a lot of influence from anime style shows including giant combining robots and characters shouting "I'm making my super <insert crazy weapon name here>" Overall an enjoyable movie.

Gave the movie a shot, I really didn't enjoy it too much it was okay. Not one of DC's better films

This movie is strange and not that good. Action and plot makes no sense, very stupid movie.

The movie was entertaining to watch once, but after that, I wouldn't plan on rewatching it.

Ok, when I bought this heavily anime influenced animated film I knew the plot would be weird. Even if I explain it i would sound nuts. That being said, it was a really well-crafted movie with interesting and creative character design. The sequences were fun and the art was varied and interesting. I’ve watched it multiple times since purchasing it.

This movie is quite amazing and takes place in ancient Japan with samurai from different clans, and it is up to Batman to stop the Joker by any means necessary. The Japanese animation in the movie is so beautiful and breathtaking, and each detail of the characters and settings have been developed beautifully!!! If you are a fan of anime, Batman, or DC movies, then, you must get this movie. Don't wait any longer to buy it. You won't be disappointed! Happy watching! :) :) :)

A journey that pits batman with a sword to right the wrongs of the joker

The animation is good, but the movie is not a very good Batman movie.

Watching all of Batman’s most notable villains and a few guest stars battle it out in feudal Japan is like a weird fantasy you didn’t know you wanted come true and be expressed to you in beautiful animation. This is worth a watch if your a fan. Excellent voice acting too with some familiar voices reprising roles.

At first I wasn't sure I was going to like this. The Joker's voice actor for the English dub isn't that good. Harley Quinn's voice actor the same situation. Given the fact that this is originally in Japanese the words don't match the lips. Theirs a transition in animation styles as well. All in all it shaped up.

The steelbook is really cool,but I didn't like the movie that much

Batman Ninja [Includes Digital Copy] [Blu-ray/DVD] Can I say Ammazzzzing? Or what? I absolutely LOVE the artwork how they made an entire different theme & way to look @ the story of "Batman". This is one exciting film; the color enrichment is amazing, how the Character's "we are norm to are still here in a way, but than again not" & it's just very brilliant & has you on the edge of your chair no matter what version of the film you watch.

My son asked me to buy for him. Said he didn’t care too much for it..

It was an ok movie really don’t have much to say about the movie!

Of all Batman cartoon movies I have seen this is the weirdest one.

When I first heard this movie was being made I was really excited. I was expecting similar to the ninja batman short you may have seen online. And while that was not the case I was still hopeful. Even for an elseworlds concept it was a little far reaching. For so many people to have been whisked away to the past was far fetched even for comics. Trying not to post spoilers. Also. There are VERY distinct parts that you can tell that one animation studio working on the project was not on the same page. That or they rushed some scenes. There are distinct scenes where the animation is sub par compared to the rest of the film. The film isn’t cannon and it’s all in fun as an elseworlds tale. Overall I still purchased it after watching from a certain rental box of a crimson color so it’s not horrible. If it’s on sale check it out.

A different direction, good but not great. Still an enjoyable story

To sum it up= if you're not a fan of the craziness that Japanese anime has to offer, steer clear. Personally, I'm "hit-or-miss" with my opinion on anime. I dug this flick because I am such a fan of Batman and check out anything the character is involved in. That being said, this one was mediocre. If you do check it out (and if you're a Batman fan, of course you will!), do yourself a favor and watch it with the original Japanese audio (located under the special features) and English subtitles. I've read online that MUCH was lost in translation from the story while converting it to the English audio (apparently, Warner Bros. was only given six pages of story and dialogue (?!?) and had to make up the rest as they went along). All in all, not as good as the recent BATMAN: GOTHAM BY GASLIGHT, yet way better than THE KILLING JOKE.
