batman meets anime, nuff said.. but I wish the writing was a bit better... anime visual were good.. loved the visuals where joker went "sane" but I wish this was better written, its not the best batman cartoon but its up there, Redhood was great, Gotham Knight was better in terms of short stories

It’s a different take on Batman. Interesting. Worth one viewing.

I love pretty much anything Batman,but I was not sure what to expect here. I am neutral on anime since I've only seen a little. Batman Ninja was different...but fun in my opinion. An unusual Elseworlds take but it kept me watching. It's visually stunning and the story is interesting. I loved that it included a lot of the Batfamily, including Jason Todd. He doesn't get enough video love. Silly in some places but overall two thumbs up.

Absolutely loved it! I have always wanted to buy this but never really looked for it. LOL bought this gem finally as a bday gift to myself and I am glad I finally came across it and purchased. The animation is amazing. It almost plays around the original animation and this new digital animation (in my opinion) I loved the visuals. Awesome movie

ENJOYED THE MOVIE AND SO DID MY SONS. LOVE THE IDEA OF THE JUSTPOSITION OF MODERN DAY BATMAN/SUPER HERO AND ANCIENT JAPAN. A VERY CLEVER TAKE ON WHAT THAT WOULD LOOK LIKE AND ENJOYED THE CULTURAL MASH UP. SOME OBVIOUS PLOT HOLES BUT COMES TO BE EXPECTED With a story line of this nature.

This movie went above and beyond the expectations I had for it. I would assume that you already have to be a fan of anime style art and fun eastern-style cliches that they use in this movie to appreciate the maximum level of enjoyment this movie has to offer. The voice acting and animation are top notch, and it was quite the thrill ride from beginning to end. I highly recommend this movie as a fan of both Batman and anime.

I loved that they went back in time and Joker is crazier than ever. Did not know he could fight that well either. But Batman is one of those who adopts to the situation to well and has his same moral code in any universe, dimension, or time. I loved the graphics and the anime look of the japan anime look of the characters. Would love more like this from the DC Universe.

If you love anime and Batman, you should definitely check out this movie. It has elements of Anime that give this a unique take on Batman. The idea seems a bit absurd but if you come in with an open mind and you also understand alot of anime tropes, this is actually pretty neat.

Gift for my grandson and loves the movie very much

This is a departure from the recent stream of dc animated movies. Batman gets time jumped to feudal Japan along with his rogues gallery. The presentation is very flashy and takes advantage of several anime tropes. This one is more family friendly as my nephews enjoyed it greatly.

DC animated movies are usually superior to the big budget live action movies. This one was not that great for me as I prefer the modern day Justice league type movies but this was still pretty cool movie. It was interesting to see the Batman characters in a different era.

This is a mix of the East meeting the West. The American Batman and characters meeting up with Anime is incredible and the interpretations of the characters are something else. I liked this movie, but will need a second watch to fully comprehend it as it is action packed.

Recently purchased this Exclusive steelbook version from Best Buy. Came with digital version and an exclusive poster. Overall the goodies were great, the movie is not bad. It was definitely not the worst but not my must rewatch. But the goodies were really great.

This has got to be one of the coolest animated Batman films I have ever seen in my entire life. The animation in this is absolutely off the charts and if you are a fan of Japanese art style you must give this film a chance. It will blow you away for sure.

I'm normally all in when it comes to DC animated films, but this here is some next level disappointment. The animation is well done, but the last act lost me when they had transforming houses battling each other. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

This is a very different Batman story. The first time I watched it I thought it was decent but upon the second viewing I really enjoyed it a lot more. Never been a fan of anime but the animation is really unique and didn’t bother me as much.

I just want to forewarn others that have not read up on this film, but it is very anime and not your typical Batman flick. The animation is on point and I personally prefer the Japanese voices over the English version, but each to their own. The story and get a little crazy and over the top,but thats the point of it all. At least give it a rental before you buy.

The original voice cast isn’t here to do the English version so things are a bit different. The art is great on the other hand. So it’s a mixup on how I feel about it. Overall worth a watch. Maybe not something I’d spend an arm and a leg on.

I'm always a sucker for the Best Buy Steelbooks so when I saw this on sale I said what the heck. Turned out to be a very enjoyable movie with much better animation than DC's recent animated features. It does slip in and out of anime type storytelling so if that's a turn off steer clear of this movie but I loved it.

Man these DC movies are pretty good and if you have not seen this one I would suggest that you pick it up and check it out. I paid 9.99 for this SteelBook and was shocked at how good the movie was. Stop at BB and pick this one up before they sell out. blu ray only no digital no slipcover
