Through ever-changing environments at the dawn of all-out war, no battle is ever the same. The game takes you across multiple and varied locations in a bid to fight your way through immersive battles. From tight urban fights in a besieged French city, to big open spaces in the Italian Alps and frantic combats in the deserts of Arabia, discover a world at war through an adventure-filled campaign.
Only in Battlefield 1 will you bring a horse to a tank fight and squad-up with your allies in epic multiplayer battles with up to 64 players. In a true multiplayer sandbox experience, take to the skies and engage in high-octane dogfights through treacherous landscapes, or have a battleship obliterating the coast from the sea, and engage in some of the biggest battles ever seen as empires clash for supremacy.

The Battlefield franchise was super popular back when Battlefield 1942 came out. I remember going to all the gaming cafe's and seeing groups playing lan matches or online. It was endless fun. When Battlefield came back with Bad Company and Battlefield 3; I knew the franchise was going to get even more popular. The next-gen mechanics and graphics were some of the best. Battlefield 1 goes back to the start of the Battlefield popularity. This time though, it has a fresh new intriguing story line and a very engaging multiplayer set in old school style Battlefield base combat. Seeing it use the full potential of next gen hardware makes it all the better. This is a much play and must own video game. If you enjoyed Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield 1942, and Battlefield 4; you will most certainly enjoy this game. DICE is definitely one of the top tier video game developers out in the industry today. They continue to impress.

I have been a huge Battlefield fan since the original back in 2002 (World War II setting) and I was ecstatic to see this new version revisiting the past. The weapons, vehicles, and setting are all interesting to me as they take place in a forgotten war and time. The single player short stories were a wonderful approach to show the epic scope of World War 1. The multi player is great as always with Battlefield games with huge maps, vehicles, and up to 64 players fighting it out. I love the addition of huge dreadnought vehicles to some maps/modes, especially the zeppelin. I am looking forward to seeing what they roll out for expansion maps and modes.

This is by far the most visually stunning Battlefield game I've played. The graphics are top notch and gorgeous to witness, the sounds are also realistic and deep. The campaign, or known as War Stories, are missions revolving around different perspectives of different individuals being part of the first war. Each story highlights everything about the game so it gives you a chance to get your feet wet in participating in the combat and controls. The multiplayer is where this game shines; from chaotic gunfights and brutal melee encounters as well as heavy rolling tanks, this is the most fun I've had with an online game.

I bought Battlefield 1 primarily for the single player campaign. The single player campaign was broken down into a prologue and 5 campaign missions called war stories. The war stories run about 1-1 ½ hours each, a total of about 6-8 hours to complete. I really enjoyed the war stories, which ended too soon and felt more like tutorials for the all-on online multiplayer mode. The war stories take you across the map of the WW1 European theatre and beyond and have you playing different characters including a tank gunner in France, a British pilot engaged in aerial dogfights, and a horseback riding soldier fighting the Ottomans in the Middle East ala Lawrence of Arabia. I wish DICE had developed the campaign mode a little more, with either a few more war stories featuring new theatres like the Russians and the Eastern front, or had the existing war story campaigns last longer, about 3-4 hours each for a more immersive single player experience. I do understand the mass appeal of the Battlefield games is the online multiplayer component, which I have slowly waded into, but can be a little frenetic for me at times. The graphics of this game are just absolutely outstanding and worth the price, and the gameplay is a blast and not overly complicated with the controller. Battlefield 1 Revolution, which includes all of the DLC, mostly new multiplayer maps, will be on sale at Best Buy for $30 on Black Friday 2017 and it is well worth the sale price.

This new game from the Battlefield line offers excellent graphics, a solid storyline and the quality of gameplay we come to expect from Battlefield. Battlefield 1 is no exception, the campaign mode is a bit on the short side, but more than adequate and very well thought out. Where the game shines is on the massive online worlds and brings the player to a time and place where men next to you will play a much more important role than before.

Graphics, sound, and shooting are all excellent. But what really sets this game apart is the take on campaign mode. Rather than follow one protagonist throughout the story, you instead play out different stories through the eyes of different characters. This allows the game to take you through many historic battles fought in WWI, and introduces you to all of the vehicles and weapons you'll be using in multiplayer.

The story mode is made up of five short stories that are not interconnected. It's fun, but nothing really special. Multiplayer is where you really get your money's worth. It's probably the most enjoyable fps multiplayer I've ever played. I wasn't a fan of the previous Battlefield titles (I've always been more of a COD fan), but this game has me doing a 180. I've deserted COD 4 Remastered since I bought BF1, and I don't know if I'll ever go back.
The Deluxe Edition doesn't really give you anything special, and I don't think it's worth an extra $30. I just bought it because it was on sale. Plus, if you want to get the premium pass for all the dlc, you'll have to dish out an extra $50 after you buy the game, so I recommend just buying the standard edition.
Simply put, if you like first-person shooters, this is a must-have.

This game is awesome. Put you right in the middle of the war to end all wars. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is fluid and responsive. Campaign is great in this game as well, but most will buy it for the multiplayer. The operations portion of the multilayer is a great addition and love the vehicles, tanks, planes, motorcycles, horses, etc.

Great campaign...but the online experience is fantastic...it is a great squad base game fast paced and weapons and gear are on point for their authentic feel...the maps are pretty detailed with great flow between objectives...so far I have not experienced any of the bugs that were in Battlefield 4...can't wait for the new maps to come out.

I was a bit worried about this game after Battlefield 4's awful release. So far everything is going great and it's so much fun. I haven't have so much fun since Battlefield 3. I hope it continues to keep being fun on the long run. Awesome graphics, intriguing campaign and fun multiplayer (especially the new modes). 10/10

I have been a huge Battlefield fan. This game is awesome. The levels are fast, the weapons are balanced, the vehicles are fun, the objectives are well placed, the campaign is amazing. The game itself is amazing. You won't regret it unless you simply don't like first-person shooters.

I got this game on a huge discount so that helped the last star. But overall this has been fun, well made, and a huge change of pace. I love history so a fun WW1 shooter was immediately a go to for me. This still very much is a Battlefield game, so if you're coming from a more arcade shooter like COD then you'll have quite a learning curve to go through. Take your time to learn the game for what it is and gather some friends to play with it will get better. Also there are many modes for those quick shoot them up players that will become your favorite modes. The PS4 runs it great....Once it loads, MY GOD THE LOADING!! it is ridiculous how long some of these game take to load. but over all worth every penny, countless hours of fun.

Can't go wrong with the Battlefield games in terms of Multiplayer - full out war on a mass scale. Use of individual skill, coherent team effort, and squad contribution all are keys to victory. This iteration of the Battlefield Series takes you back to WW1 and brings a lot of characteristic elements like tanks, vehicles, planes, medic, sniper, assault, and support classes. But you also have the option to buy new guns with "war bonds" (gained for ranking up) instead of simply waiting to unlock new guns by ranking up that class or meeting a certain # of kills.
Great game, great addition to the series, and amazing graphics and gameplay! Would definitely recommend!

The main campaign is compelling to say the least. Filled with rich storyline and characters. Truly one of the best campaigns in gaming. The MP is fun as well.
