First off, I am an avid Call of Duty player for years and also had a run with MAG(great multiplayer domination). I prestiged to the 15th on Black ops and to the 10th on MW3(which are maxxed), that being said, I absolutely love Battlefield 3! If you are buying for the single player campaign mode from what I have read it is OK at best. I buy these FPS games for the multiplayer and that is where BF3 shines. If you are a Call of Duty gamer, you will probally hate this game at first, hard to aim and get kills when compared to CODs MW3 if you are accustomed to the fast pace arcade style warfare. Give it a few days and if you are like me you will get into the Battlefield flow and your game will start to improve. Both games are great in my opinion and after maxxing out MW3, I needed something new and BF3 hit the spot. You will get your A-s kicked in the beginning if you are new to Battlefields or just switched from Call of Duty. The secret is you have to get pounded several hours before you get unlocked weapons and attachments. I love the fast pace of COD, but this game definitely has more all out war feel. If you do not own a quality stereo or dolby headset get one, I can say the graphics are good, but the sounds are great! Very happy with my purchase and the Limited Edition copy gives you some weapon unlocks as well as 4 extra maps, so I definitely reccomend this version(the map pack by itself is 14.99 plus game cost). The amount of vehicles and weapons with different attachments will keep the replay value high. So give it a try and dont let the first day depress you it gets better, as I am hooked! Great FPS. Great graphics + Back To Karkland Expansion Pack dl code. Only con is not very open world, direction very linear like COD.

The game is great, been playing it for arround a month now. First person shooter, no split screen for 2 which sucks but I like it. The prices was good 20$ on sale so I got it. Was gone buy it used but it cost around $15 then the ps3 subscription to online playing would had cost me $10, which help me save some $.$ thinking of getting BF4 as soon as the $ lowers from almost $50. If you like shooting people online, helping/ healing a friendly guy in your team, blowing up tanks, using helicopters, and plainly having fun online this game is the one. Its gone keep your attention for a long time if not for few minutes that will thrill you.

This game is a blast. If you find it a little to simple then just dial up the difficulty level. Very fun!

I bought this an the suggestion of a friend. I don't play all that often and the last game I played was COD. Battlefield 3 has proven to be quite enjoyable...but then again, I am not an avid player.

I bought this game for my 20-year old son and he loves it. I can't speak for online play because he doesn't play online, but he has had many hours of enjoyment playing solo with/against the computer.

Gameplay is solid but often becomes repetitive and follows suite of other titles in the genre. Story is alright but could be better. Not a bad buy for 19.99.

Love the graphics and game controls. Campaign is fun to play through.

If you're trying to decide whether to buy this or Modern Warfare, you should definitely choose this. The story: The plot line is decent, it'll keep you wanting to play. However, the missions are awesome. They make you feel as if you're actually in battle with realistic, challenging gameplay. I wasn't a huge fan of Bad Company 1 or 2, but this game is amazing to me. So, even if you didn't like Bad Company, there's a good chance you'll still like this. The graphics are incredible, some of the most detailed I've seen in games yet. From environments, weapons, explosions, and everything in between, this game looks stunning. The sound is also incredible, making it feel as if you're actually there. Explosions are loud and intimidating, bullets wiz by your head. All of it sounds amazing. And most importantly, the multiplayer: The multiplayer is the biggest highlight of the game. Well drawn out maps make battles immense and hectic. There's hundreds of things to unlock. Needless to say, you'll be playing for hours and hours on end.

I brought this game for my husband for Christmas who has played all f the previous versions and he loved it.

We picked up battlefield 3 for $20 after seeing battlefield 4 for the ps4. I have only played rhe single player campaign but its been fun so far. Took me some time to get the hang of the controls since I have never played a battlefield game before but I seemed to pick it up quickly.
