Another Great Addition to the Series

While nothing monumental has changed in the latest iteration in the series, the subtle changes in mechanics does make the game feel refreshing to play. Multiplayer is as good as ever, chaotic and exiting and the PC version runs very well for my set up (GTX 980ti).

I like the game. Even though not a whole lot of difference from the previous one but the graphics are great as usual. The map is big but still manageable and not boring like running without seeing anyone. Just have to be patient with future updates cuz I know they will find more bugs just like any other games. The battle royale will be interesting though. I just hope they will find a way to have a solo mode in their battle royale. Hard to get used to it if you are a COD player but you will be fine.

Phenomenal looking game on PC. The campaign is as light as ever and no one should take it seriously. It provides a little respite from the multiplayer mayhem when you're looking for it. A recent patch has added some barebones coop against AI which basically rehashes some multiplayer maps into smaller ones. The next large update will add a battle royale mode, which was teased before the games release. Overall, good support and no pay-to-win crate system. Give it a shot!

Great game on PC. Looks great, runs great and plays really well. Minor bugs need to be fixed but nothing that deters from a great experience.

This game has awesome graphics. Running it on a MSI Armor 8GB video card on a AMD 1700x rig. Runs smooth on Ultra settings and hits 60 fps fine. My biggest complaint is that you have to download 50 GB file and that takes 4-7 HRS. Should just put the game on two blu ray disk.

    - Campaign was great, made you feel connected with the characters - I have a 2080 GPU; before the recent update, it was almost impossible to play with ray tracing on (on whatever settings) without taking a huge FPS hit.But after the recent update, i'm able to have ray tracing on medium settings and get 60FPS

    Call of Battlefield

I've been a Battlefield franchise player since the first game in the series (BF1942) and owned every game except 2142. The graphics in this game are stunning however I feel like I'm playing Call of Duty rather than Battlefield. In addition the game isn't complete yet but I knew that when I purchased it. Picked this up on sale for 40% off on the PC Standard version 6 days after the official release. Note the only difference between Standard and Deluxe aside from the $20 price increase is cosmetic items like skins for weapons and vehicles. Until more DLC is released this game is a slow starter. It had the potential to be great but EA got greedy and messed up their launch. Don't spend more than $30 for it.

A great game in the Battlefield series

Battlefield V is a different approach than the last game in the series, mainly taking place in WW2 as opposed to WW1. The gameplay is still inherently Battlefield, allowing players to fight as infantry or in vehicles such as tanks and planes. The biggest changes would be regarding the actual weaponry, as most weapons now have their own feel in terms of recoil and spread, giving players an option to get used to how a gun plays beyond its weapon damage and or RPM. For that, the game is a bit more demanding in terms of skill as opposed to the more lenient game play seen in Battlefield 1, which might put off some people from enjoying it as much as past Battlefield games.

...on the expensive side but it's a fun game. If you're familiar with all the Battlefield series it's basically the same except the full version now also includes Firestorm. Battlefields spin on Battle Royale.

I've been playing BF since BattleField 2, so Ive played pretty much all of them. Gameplay is similar to Battlefield 1, and I really enjoyed that game. This game focuses more on war stories and seeing war from different prespectives. A major difference is that anybody can revive now, not just the medic class. Its a nice feature sometimes but most of the time it really isn't because any other class will want to revive when they shouldn't be since it takes longer and instead should be covering fire. The spotting system is different as well. There is no option to spot/tag someone like the previous games. The scout class has an option to spot someone in the more traditional way with certain equipment. Overall, the graphics and gameplay is great

I honestly picked this up to test out ray tracing on an RTX 2080. Graphically it's a great game using new lighting technology, but gameplay wise it's just another Battlefield game. This one doesnt really add anything new to the formula but is otherwise a decent game.

The shooting is nice and I like how they changed the classes. They have daily assignment available to earn money to buy cosmetics for there is no pay to win items in the game. The campaign is also well made but there is a chapter missing that will be available 12/5/18. It is also missing the battle royale mode but it will come later down the line. I am giving the game four stars because there is no season pass so all the players will be able to play the same maps, which is the step in the right direction. I paid only $25 because of bb gcu and reward certificates but I think $30-$40 is an okay price to get it.

I have owned every version of Battlefield since BF 1942, and am glad they came back to WWII. Great graphics and smooth gameplay. I am playing at 2560 x 1440 and am getting over 60 fps with a GTX 1070, so no need to upgrade to an RTX card yet. Excellent game!

What is there to say about this game? This game is Battlefield thru and thru. The formula is largely the same as previous generations but it's more refined and action packed. The game's defining modes of 64 player servers certainly shine on the maps they've created. Plane and tank warfare are pleasant but sometimes feel shoehorned in since all the maps are smaller than BF4 and BF1. This game would be worthy of 5 stars had they released all the promised content at launch. Tides of War and the battle royale mode are still missing (as of the date of this review).

Short and to the point. Is the game worth it? That depends on what you're looking to get out of it. My first Battlefield was 2142 and they have never released anything like it since. I keep picking these up, hoping to see something that takes me back there. This game is good if you look at what most studios are putting out now. I prefer Battlefield over COD because of the aspect of vehicles etc that aren't really represented in COD. With that being said though the tanks in this game basically camp and ruin the whole game for you so be warned.

This game is awsome, fast paced excellent graphics hours of interactive active fun. With that said make sure your computer meets the requirements for operation. This game is a hog when it comes to cpu and gpu resources. I play it in 4k and it challenges my msi trident X plus. My system has a 9th generation i9 with 32 gigs of ram as well as a RTX 2080 TI. The game looks amazing and plays fine, but, the frame rate suffers a bit on ultra settings( around 50 fps) so do yourself a favor and save a bit of time and download nvidias game experience program so you get the latest driver and best settings for your system.

The UI/game play are reminiscent of BF4, but the eye candy is just so, so good. The new features, like being able to tow weapons with other vehicles, being able to heal other squad members (even if you're not medic class), etc. are fantastic. Load times on multiplayer games and that interface in general are a downgrade, and not being able to leave ammo and medic crates like you do in BF1 are also a detraction to the game, but overall, glad I got this!
