    GAGA FOR HEARTBEATS!!

Yesterday I purchased the new Lady GaGa HeartBeats v2 in black. They're amazing!! They're a huge step up from the old design - which I own and love. I'm a sucker for any product with GaGa's name on it but these headphones are a must have. The sound quality is outrageous. The bass pounds right through you so loud that you literally feel it in your chest. These headphones are much more comfortable and easier to fit than the bulky size of the last ones. The style is amazing as well, using the "alien spikes" from GaGa's recent BORN THUS WAY album campaign as it's main design focus. All in all these headphones are pretty sweet and a definite must buy for any GaGa fan. The only downside is its pretty steep $129 price tag.

Perfect for every day use, and with different attachment for your ear. The sound is rich with good highs and lows. Highly recommended.

Cool look and great sound. Got it as a gift for someone and she really likes them. Was worried they wouldn't be worth it but sound great. Thinking of buying myself a set. Would give them 6 stars if I could.

    Best I've Found

As someone who listens to music constantly, I've run through a lot of earbud headphones for my iPod, and these are the best - FAR better than the Bose which cost me about the same. They are a little pricey, but to me it is well worth it. The whole range of frequency response is excellent, especially the base. Every other set I've tried, the base end seems thin, but not with these. If you like a lot of base without drowning out the higher frequencies, I have not found another set that's even in the same ballpark. The wires (which are always what wears out first for me) at least appear to be sturdier than any other set I've owned. I kind of like the way the earbuds are styled as you can remove them from your ear without having to pull on the wires themselves, which for me, has caused the wires to eventually fray. It comes with the widest selection of different sized and styled earbuds that I have seen and easily found a pair that fits comfortably and snuggly in the ears. If you don't mind the price, I don't think you could go wrong with these.

    AMAZING!

I disagree with @AutumnalWind, above. I had the same problem as stated: the buds 'causing discomfort for being too big. that's because the one's I selected I thought would fit me. so I interchanged them with the wide variety of earbuds that come included with the device. so unless, you have really tiny ears; you shouldn't have a problem. as for the qualilty. it is great! I know Lady Gaga has a passion for Bass. & if anything, she knows what to do with it. the moment you begin use you feel it. it plays highs & lows really good. and the thing I love most is: with them, I hear things I wouldn't have without them. Like, literally I hear backup vocals that I never realized were on a song. D: the design. the best! can't go wrong with Gaga. I highly recommend for all reasons: fashionistas, good sound, the brand, everything. And if anyone were to try and say they were bad quality, I'd say they don't know what quality is. :) oh yeah, & it's the white variety of these earphones that I own.

    Best Earphones I've EVER Had!

I've gone thru my fair share of earphones and headphones. Before I decided to switch to Beats by Dr Dre, I had Titan Skullcandy earphones. They were good, but they broke after a couple months, even though those Skullcandy earphones have been around for awhile, at least that I saw. They should've worked out almost everything. Then I saw the iBeats, the cheapest Beats by Dr Dre. They had AMAZING sound quality! And then they broke, due to my fault, so I went to get new ones, but the nearest Best Buy didn't have any. So i decided to go with Heartbeats by Lady Gaga. I absolutely love them, and the design is the best! The sound quality is awesome. The one thing I don't like is they took the volume buttons off of the ControlTalk, but oh well. I can live with it. But overall, they are awesome!!

    They've changed a bit

    Posted .

So these headphones have changed a bit from their original release. They were updated in 2011 to change the design and most people know that already. But they also changed mid 2012 when Monster and Beats split. Now the changes are purely to the design and packaging but for anyone buying these for the Lady Gaga branding you should know the box has lost almost any Gaga branding and the headphone case which used to have a faux Gaga signature and studded design is now just a bland carrying case. It doesn't bother me too much as a guy who tries to hide his Gaga love but for someone wanting to showcase their Gaga audio equipment you should know. Now much like all Beats headphones your value depends largely on the types of audio you listen to. As always the acoustic package is tailored to very specific audio listeners. And those looking for balance or anyone fashioning themselves audiophiles should steer clear. However they're incredibly comfortable and very durable unlike the urbearts or Tours.

    Everythings Perfect, but....

Allright, i just recently returned my beats by dre studios for these ear buds because i need the money. First -Value for Price=I would have given it a 5 stars if the mic was a universal mic and not just made for apple's products because i have a android phone and when i press the button it will call my last call and hang up, No big deal. -Sound Quality= AMAZING!!!!! Clarity is perfect, No distortion!! and i hear bass frequencies i didn't even hear on my studios!! but it still hits highs and mids perfectly!! -Comfort= Very nice, when you first open the box it has a tag that says to make sure you use the tips that fit you best, and when i first got them, the tips they come with on them didn't fit so i thought i was going to be disappointed, but try all them and use the ones that fit you best, it actually does make a difference. -And Last, Durability=I havent really tested out the durability yet but the cable is solid the only thing that kind of worries me is the area between where the cable ends and the headphones are, it is kind of bendible but i dont think thats a big deal, Overall= I recomend these to anyone who needs some really good headphones for a reasonable price. Hope this helps all you future buyers out there! :), One more thing= The case isnt the most protective also just a heads up.

    Wow, really impressed!

Let me preface this by stating I've always been into hi-fi audio, from several thousand dollar car audio equipment to top of he line home theatre set ups. I worked at a large record label for a couple years and I know music... And these headphones hav just blown me away. I was skeptical after owning a couple of the larger studio beats that failed to live up to expectations or were just to big yo wear daily... These have them beat hands down! For the price they are the best on the market, hands down. You'd expect to pay upwards of $400 for some comparable Shure's and the like... The bass is deep and clean, the vocals are spot on - I could go on about these, but you should try them for yourself! I gave it 4 out of 5 for durability as these aren't meant for any type of extreme sports, IMHO, but why would you want to use quality headphones wear they could break? Im not a big fan of the new control talk feature, seemed the previous version had more controls.

    Gaga earbuds 2.0... slightly better

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Originally I had the first edition of the Gaga Heartbeats earbuds, but after a week of trying them, they just didn't fit right, constantly falling out of my ears even as I walked. I loved the style and the sound quality, but sadly I had to return them. I was really happy to see the updated Gaga earbuds so I got them as birthday gift this year, eagerly to test them out. 1. Style - it's the bigger draw to this set. They're definitely Gaga, with the metal spikes and studs. The black pair is very neutral so both guys and girls can dig them! Comparing to the older Heartbeat ones, these are not as heavy so they don't get yanked out easily with slight movements, but more on that later. 2. Price - it's more than your usual earbuds, but since it's a Monster brand with Gaga licensing so there's a premium price to be paid. This time the mobile phone microphone is included (unlike the first edition, there's a separate model for that) so I guess that's part of the price mark up. Also included are 8 pairs of rubber ear pieces now to adjust to your ears, different sizes of round, tapered, and coned shaped ones are all included. I'd suggest the best time to buy is when BestBuy have those 10-12% off coupons, they worked for me on these headphones. 3. Sound - of course initially I listened to my "Born this Way" mp3s as tests on my iPod. The bass was heavier than I preferred, so I messed around the EQ mode until what I heard what I liked. Then I switched to Adele's "21" for a slower, less complicated musical production and she sounded great. I also listened to Friendly Fires' album "Pala" for some alt rock style, and these earbuds continued to perform fine without additional EQ adjustment. However, when I listened to Mariah Carey's recent r&b stuff, the heavy bass kicked in again. Being these are created with Dr. Dre's preferences, I wondered if some bass heavy tracks just comes out that way to reflect the musical style such as dance, r&b, and hip hop. 4. Others - so while sitting on the train or even walking, these earbuds will stay in your ears ok (after fitting with the correct rubber ear pieces to my ears). However, I tried to run on the treadmill with them and they keep falling out, so that may be something you need to be aware of. Also, not sure if it was just bad luck, the first pair of these I got, the left ear went silent after 2 days, but BestBuy exchanged it with no problem at the store. The associate suggested the 2-year replacement plan in case they break after the 30-day return period, so I got that as well. I own the Bose IE2 as well, their sound qualities are about equal, but to me, the Bose does not emphasize on the bass as much. The Bose also have the hearing aid like rubber tips to ensure they stay in your ear, so they perform better for running and jogging. The BestBuy coupon does not work on Bose, so with the Gaga ones on discount, they are similar in price.

    Best Purchase

I'm an avid music listener and when I was going overseas with work I wanted something light that I could take with me and still would work well on a plane. I was a little apprehensive with the price and comfort as well as sound quality. Once I found the right earbuds the sound was amazing. They even worked great on the plane keeping out background noise to a great degree. I've even been able to listen to soft music and classical without having the volume above half and still have great quality come through with no outside sound to mar the listening. All in all it was the best purchase I've made for music in a long while.

I love lady gaga so when I heard she was releasing a 2.0 of heartbeats I was excited! I had already gone through at least 3 1.0's because they kept breaking but these are much more durable and comfortable and over the top sound quality that makes them worth every penny!

I received these earphones for a birthday present in September 20011...Since then I have had to return them twice (today is January 12, 2012) Each time it was because one earphone blew out. I don't mishandle my headphones but I do use them everyday for about 5 -7 hours a day while I work. I guess overuse is not good. Luckily I got the 2 year protection plan so I guess I will be returning them every 2 - 3 months for the next 2 years! SMH. But the sound is great whenever they work. Extra bass and the voice control works great with my I-Phone 4S.

I was definitely hesitant to buy these headphones considering with the 2 year warranty they were $160. The very first time I listened to my music with them though I could hear the difference. I recommend the warranty plan because with any kind of headphones they have a high chance of breaking within 2 years, and they're pretty expensive to just buy a new pair. I am in love with these headphones, and they're worth every penny. Bonus, if you buy them at Best Buy they're $20 cheaper than from the Beats website. If you want quality sound, I recommend Beats by Dr. Dre.

These headphones are AMAZING! Sound quality is brilliant! I had no idea headphones could even sound this good! It's crazy the difference! Plus they look pretty dang cute. Perfect for women to get the same quality as guys do with the studio and big over the ear Beats. Gaga loves bass, and it shows in these headphones!
