Before purchasing it, CHECK if it'll work with your particular phone case style/brand. (The problem is that its USB-C male plug design has its plastic casing a few mm wider than some phone case cutouts are; my compostable phone case, for example--though it works with all other USBC-type male plugs--will not fit right, as a consequence the phone won't play or charge).

Good for new phones and old cars

Connects a iPhone 16 Pro to a 2012 BMW

I needed a way to send audio to the Aux port in the center console, but USB power to a separate charger that hooked up to the 12V DC outlet under the glovebox. This worked perfectly.

Works as designed

I have Audio technica Quiet Point wired headphones so I am not about to fork ou another $250 plus to replace them. This adaptor solves the problem. The built in DAC maintains the pristine audio quality and so far I have had no problems.

Allows me to manage phone calls and text. This device has really made my life easier. Not having an ox chord for my phone. I can't wait till I have enough money to buy somthing here again. And I'm out of this situation of horrible debt and no way to fix it. It would make my day If I'm received the award. Because genuinely speaking, it might be something that can help me be able to fix my life. If not perhaps I can have an xbox again who knows Is what it is I'm just happy. I can use my phone with my headphones now.

Same problem, more expensive

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Salesperson persuaded me to upgrade to this product after a less expensive brand failed (sound coming through phone, not earbuds). It worked well for about 18 months and now I have the same problem. The sound intermittently comes through the phone, not the earbuds. While Belkin is honoring the warranty, I had to pay to return the defective item to them. Next time I'll return to the less expensive option and simply replacing it will still be more cost-effective than the higher price for this product, plus return shipping fees when it fails.

This comes in handy while exercising or listening to music from my mobile in the car. Highly recommended.

A less expensive Apple adapter connected the headphones but gave no sound, even though both adapter and headphones work fine with other devices. The Belkin just works.
