Has a short cord, which I like. I've got charging cables for my Iphone, Magic Mouse and keyboard and one with a USB-C to USB-A.

Anyhow, this meets the USB 3.2 / gen 2 I needed and provides passtheough from my board to the devices. It is a great hub and ive had no disconnects since instalation.

Perfect for what I need

It is not good for transferring large amounts of data fast. But it works great for connecting part time devices, charging, small data transfers, etc to one port. It provides 4 USB 3.2 ports for 100W power for charging and 10Gbps data transfer, allowing you to use just one port for 4 devices. And it is made by Belkin.

Not for my purpose

When USB first came out, it was the same way. It just would not get enough electric 2 multiple boards or 2 hubs to handle multiple devices. My problem is I have too many devices and need a hub that works them all.

I recently placed a different cable and it has held solid. Likely the cable that came with it was defective.
