with the new phone, needed a new case and here it is.

Not very protective but great for looks. It does not come with screen protector. The charge port has no cover to prevent dust and moisture.

This is for the 5, not the 5S, there is a slight difference between the two. Just bear this in mind - the purple one fits the 5S better.

This case is horrible. The new version with the three large port cutouts at the bottom don't fit properly. Case is extremely loose around all edges. I've had this case before and fit like a glove. I'm very disappointed!

It covers the phone. It's not that great. I got a new one to replace it right away.

Belkin - Grip Candy Sheer Case for Apple iPhone 5 - Purple/Teal. By the description, I had hoped the case would have more "grip" to it. As it is, the case is as slippery as the phone itself. There is no screen protection. The colors are nice. Would not buy again.

This case fits great, feels great, and looks great. It was well worth the money. I like it better than the Speck case I had previously which cracked. This is TPU only in thinner areas which will keep those places from cracking. It is not as sheer as in the photo.

I purchased this Belkin case to use as a temporary case but it may end up being my permanent one. There is no "dot man logo" as depicted on the website which is what I prefer since it gives it a cleaner look. I got the black/neon green case because I thought the neon would make it easy for me to spot my phone when set on a table. The black is not very sheer so you can't really see the apple logo. I also purchased this case because I wanted something with some grip and this case give its grip without the tack of rubber (which I hear would make it difficult to take out of a pant pocket). The case fits perfectly snug and the bulk is minimal. This case also has a "lip" which allows you to put the phone face down with worrying about the screen scratching on a table. My only gripe is that dust may accumulate on the edge which is not a big deal to clean at all. Another reason I chose this case is that it is made of TPU which has a soft rubbery surface which doesn't scratch like plastic would. I also feel that the TPU material offers more of a cushion than hard plastic would. One thing I hadn't noticed until I compared it with other cases is that ports on this Belkin case are cut out individually rather than having 1 big open hole (more protection?). The volume buttons are also covered and colored to match the back of the case. This attention to detail almost justifies the cost.

You get what you paid for. Por quality but really cheap...

The case provides an overall good fit and is fairly slim as to not add too much thickness overall to the phone. There is a slight sag at the bottom of the case, but that could be due to the need for the cutouts for speakers and ports. There is a good balance between grip and slickness. It is "grippy" enough that it won't slip out of your hands, but slick enough that is slides in and out of your pockets pretty easily. The cut-out for the lightning port is big enough to fit my aftermarket lightning cable. which is quite a bit thicker than the original Apple lightning cable. The only reason I took off one star overall and for appearance is because the case is not anywhere near as translucent as pictured on both the Best Buy and Belkin web sites. It is ever so slightly translucent, but nowhere near translucent enough to see the Apple logo on the back of the iPhone. Overall, good case that I'll be keeping.

I've always had Belkin cases on my iPhones and this time around it's no exception. As soon as I saw this on their official website, I knew I had to have it. I went to Best Buy expecting it to not fit perfectly (its timely release made me wonder whether they actually had the right specs for the new iPhone) and it actually fits perfectly. I was also doubtful the color would look good on my black iPhone and, much to my delight, it looks VERY nice. The flexible material feels great, making the phone easier to grip and it adds no bulk whatsoever. I often wear skinny jeans (don't judge, LoL) and I like keeping things slim in my pockets so this is the perfect the case for me. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes minimal and great quality.

This case is expensive and does not fit well. They have a variety of cases but this one was not a good fit. It's appearance is slim and seems to fit comfortably in hand but does to fit on phone.

It took me a week to choose a case for my new iPhone 5. After much "window shopping" I finally chose this one. I am very pleased with it. This is the first case I've had that is easy to use. It fits the phone well and I think it will protect the phone very well. I love the color - it looks great on the phone!
