Easy to use with no nerd to have hook it up. HDMI to 232 port is easy and it takes almost no room in my case

When my wife needed to set up her office in our house she didn't want to spend a great deal of money. No problem I had an extra monitor, keyboard and mouse. Problem was her laptop only has an HDMI port. Do I buy a new HDMI monitor or get an adapter. Since she is not doing graphics work getting the adapter seemed like the right approach. Picked it up, plugged it in and she was off to the races for about $25. I love it when a plan comes together!

When using my iPad Air and Apple TV to project presentations and a VGA projector is the available hardware, this is a must to "convert" the HDMI output of the Apple TV to the projector's VGA input

I connected the adapter to my Dell Ultra laptop and then to the VGA plug for the projector, turned everything on and then just proceeded as normal. I did have to adjust the projector for differences that occur with high density which was causing a screen alignment issue between my laptop and the projected view. I have now used the adapter several more times with no problems.

Hook up and go. No hassle. Works for my smaller laptop to hook to my TV or larger computer screen.

Allows me to add an "old school" vga monitor to my newer laptop ( that doesn't come with a vga output ) as a secondary monitor.

Nice little adapter to convert HDMI to VGA with audio capability although that wire must be purchased extra.

Works like it should, easy to connect, picture is clear and 1080 quality, would buy again!!

Reasonable price but connections at time work loose for bad connection

I needed this in my briefcase in case my PC hdmi cable wasn't usable to connect to prsentation devices when on sales calls. This provides connectivity as expected.

I bought this to hook up my snes classic to my pc monitor/speakers and neither the sound or video worked. I waited to review because I wasn't sure if it was this product or the console. I found out it had to do with that particular console, because it works flawlessly with my xbox. So even though I'm not using it for the reason i purchased it for, 5 stars.

The purchasing experience was outstanding. The sales person knew exactly what I was looking for and showed me a few options. I selected this on price. The unit worked as described. Nothing additional needed to be done. I just plugged it into my laptop and plunged the projector into this adaptor and I was up and running. The adaptor is small enough to fit in my brief case and does not add a lot of extra weight.

No complaints. Works like it should. Would recommend if you need to connect to VGA cables.

My use is for the classroom. The adapter worked well for me. It has audio built in but doesn't work all the time. On a couple occasions, it didn't play sound. I don't generally have time to fix it so I just go without. It's a good product 98%. Can't beat the price either.

Bought this to connect an Apple TV to an older vga projector at work. I was surprised to find the 3.5mm aux jack, so I was actually still able to have sound too!

I go to several locations to deliver trainings and picked this up for the places that don't have HDMI hookups fo displaying presentations.
