With this thing of apple changing the phones to have only one spot to connect headphones (only the lighting cable fits) OR charger.... I got upset for not being able to use “normal” headphones as well as I can’t use headphone AND charge at the same time. This little adapter was one of the best acquisitions! It charges the phone while I also have headphones in to chat/watch a video and it works heavens!

This one worked, (lightning connection),at the time, in the past, I purchased a setup to charge my phone and listen to a podcast at the same time,, but there were at that time only a system that only used a “C” type connection ,,so I purchased a cable that had adapters,, for “C” type to “LIGHTNING “ type,,, so when connected to the phone, added the charger to “charger “ port, that system part worked,,, then I added the earpiece to the other port , the sound would not work,,, so I went back to the store later,, to maybe have the “GEEK “ squad check out the device I purchased,, (it’s a black system package) , to see if it has a problem,, I would exchange it for a different one, have it checked out before leaving,,but before I left , I had noticed a “lightning “ device system and purchased it,, that worked, that s grand ,, now I’ve had it too long to return it for a refund

This solved the biggest problem with the iPhone since the disappearance of the headphone port. I fly often and charging my phone while watching a movie is a simple, but important capability. It may get less important in time as headphones move toward wireless (Bluetooth), but I still prefer my wired setup for now, so this little box is great.

I upgraded my smartphone to iPhone XR. I knew it does not have regular headphone jack anymore. Therefore, I also made a purchase of this to ensure compatibility with my existing headphones. It is slightly larger than ideal, especially when watching youTube videos when lying in bed, but it works perfectly fine and I am happy with it. It does what it is supposed to do.

First, the product: It works great and exactly as described. Second, the Apple concept: I upgraded my daughter's iPhone 6s to an iPhone 8. Well, Apple decided that everyone should own a pair of their Bluetooth wireless headsets, so they did away with the 3.5mm headphone jack or, if you do decide to use their included 3.5mm to lightning adapter, you can't charge the phone at the same time. Sigh.... Buying her a set of $150.00 wireless headphones made no sense, so I invested in this instead. It is nice that she can charge and listen to headphones at the same time, just like she used to do with her old phone ... that didn't cost me an extra $35.00 for this adapter. Rant over. :-)

This works for new iPhones that don't have a headphone jack. Rather than buying blue tooth ear buds which may need recharging on a long flight, I can plug my wired ear buds into this and use while charging my phone or just use directly from the phone. A little cumbersome looking with wires hanging out while you're trying to listen to your device, but the Bluetooth earbuds require their own charger plus the phone so this way it's one less charger to bring along.

I had been using a lightning splitter with a lightning to headphone adapter. It worked ok, but performance could be unreliable at times with sound occasionally cutting out briefly. This all in one solution is a bit more expensive, but it has worked very well. Audio quality is very good and charging works well. This is worth the investment.

This easy to use connector with female connectors for your headphone or speaker jacks is easy to hook up. It’s short and does not take up a lot of space. If you have old school style headphones with a male connector, you will need this in order to connect to the current iPhones.

Bought thi because I listen to podcasts and music in my minivan. It’s old enough that it still has a cassette player. This gadget lets me charge my iPhone 8+ and plug in a phone to cassette adapter that has a mini phone jack on it. (No aus in the van.). Now I can keep the phone charging and listen to the phone at the same time. Drawback is that is expensive.

This little adapter worked like a charm for those of us that haven't splurged (or had the luxury of it gifted) on airpods, it's nice to have the option to be able to charge and use headphones. I've used it for a month now and haven't had any issues. Item was a bit pricey but there aren't very many MFI certified options out there so it's not too bad.

This adapter does exactly what I needed it to do. Allow me to charge my phone while listening with my Bose corded headset. My major complaint about the iphone was that it offered no way to do this. This adapter conveniently allows long calls, hands free while keeping my phone charged now.

I use my headphones for phone calls. Now that I have the iPhone 7, I realized I couldn't stay charged and take calls at the same time. I also use the iPhone 7 in the car and plug into the Aux jack on my stereo (no bluetooth). Definitely needed for those long road trips. I just hate that I need an additional adapter because Apple took the headphone jack away!

Works excellent! Finally made the purchase even though the price is extremely high for such a small piece. It’s ridiculous that iPhone made the change to a single port! Hate it. Now you have to lug extra parts around to be connected for people like me who like to hard wire. Glad I finally spent the cash!

I bought this for my son because he has an iPhone and I can honestly say Belkin got it right. The adapter for the android does not allow for charging and playing at the same time.

This is a great product! you can Charge your phone and use you headphone or ear buds at the same time. I have terrible hearing and I use wired ear buds to talk on the phone in my office environment . If you talk a lot , it keep your phone charged at the same time.

This plug is so handy and works great! It allows me to charge my phone and listen through my headset at the same time. I recommend it highly!

Well due to Apple pulling a fast one on the world, we now have to buy extra gadgets to just reinvent the wheel on connecting 2 things at once. So far so good on Belkin, they allow my son to both charge his phone while listening to his headphones because i am not buying no expensive apple airpods or bluetooth headphones that could get lost at any moment. I do recommend this product, very nice.

It works great, I needed something to allow me to charge my phone and listen to music while I save money to replace my car radio and this definitely solved that problem.

OK, stupid and arrogant Apple. You got rid of the earphone jack on the iPhone 11 and make me buy a dongle to use my wired earphones and speakers. Along comes Belkin to the rescue and provides this handy adapter that let's you charge the battery and use earphones/speaker at the same time. Works great.
