In the end I just didn't use them. Probably could have saved money and not purchased them, but they were on sale and it was still a good deal.
I would recommend this to a friendIt's fine, but even Belkin makes better.

The lanyard is too long and is bulky if trying to thread it onto something like AirPods for instance. The version of this with just the keychain ring is the one to get.

The AirTag sits nicely in place. I can still hear the chirp if I send out a notification without muffled sound.

My girlfriend got air tags as a gift recently and was thinking of giving these a try to see how secure it was. Not even a few hours of use and the attachment becomes undone and falls off from all different types of land yards, keys , and carabiners. I’m a handy man so I love trying to figure out other ways to utilize the product (when from the get go why do you need to make alterations on the product) I tried using paracord to shimmy through the opening but it was too narrow. Hand down poorly made air tag holder.

Not a good air tag holder
