It definitely makes french fries and other food we used to cook in the oven taste even better! We enjoy being able to adjust the temp and amount of time needed to cook certain foods. Cooks good but there is a major problem.

Pros: Cooks food well and evenly. Seems to heat evenly. Its quiet. (Like suspiciously quiet). Cons: The new appliance smell will NOT go away. I have used this over 20 times and that smell has not even slightly dissipated. What's worse is the food is tasting like plastic. I don't know if I got a bad unit or if its a problem with all of them. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

I was new to air frying until about a year and a half ago when I bought a smaller model. I like the larger size of this model but both fryers are still going strong and used more than originally anticipated.
