Thank god it was because I love this air fryer. So much easier to use than my previous one. Also very easy to clean, unlike my other one. Definitely happy with my purchase.

Odor does effect food taste..months later

But months later the device still has a bad chemical smell. The manufacturer says it doesn't effect the taste, BUT IT DOES. I don't even want to use it anymore. The odor smells like my food is poisoned. Yuck
