I was very excited to have this projector installed into our very first movie room. Unfortunately, the video changes to shades of black and green when changing to HDR mode. I worked with the manufacturer to troubleshoot and ended up having to mail it in for repair. Fingers crossed that they fix the issue and return it to me.

Very solid unit and the top of the Mid DLP range.

This projector is perfect for my needs, yes can't produce the darkest blacks, but at this price point it's as good if not better than anything else with these features. Things I love about it: - Big sturdy build that's easy to work with. - Excellent color accuracy right out of the box in cinema mode - Vertical lens shift is awsome to have - Easy to navigate and use the physical controls on the side - The Projector's internal menu is easy to use, and the ability to dial in color for calibration is very detailed if you need it - Excellent response time for gaming - No issues with daytime viewing as long as you have some light control Things that could use improving: - Annoying pops ups when switching to a gaming and have any sort of keystoning on. - Internal android stick is alright to keep things tight, but an apple TV is still miles better quality - Wide Gammut Color is nice to have, but not quite enough light to really take advantage of it - still decent at night in a light controled environment. - Price - Considering what this projector does it's a just a bit too expensive at MSRP - No HDMI 2.1 for future proofing, though, the feature set makes up for this quite a bit, it just won't be able to fully utilize future tech. Overall the positives are far greater than the negatives, I'm giving it 5 stars not because it's the perfect projector, but because for what it does, it doesn't compromise. Very solid unit that's a just a bit too expensive considering it's still DLP and laser is really taking over.

Picture quality is pretty great but sadly only when it works. I kept getting gray screens when playing games and the heat this thing gives off is insane. Couldnt get 1440p 120hz to activate for fast pace games and i bought cables specifically for it. Be careful purchasing this and wanting to return. 350 dollars out of pocket to return this product which was hard to notice when purchasing. No signature required.

Do not buy this projector. I had to some many issues with. I went through 3 levels of support at Benq and then decided to return it. My Xbox series's X never was able to connect in full 4k and I was using a 4K fiber optic cable capable of going up to 120z.

I was replacing an older model to upgrade to 4K and LED. The picture simply blows me away. For movies it is incredible really fast and responsive with gaming. Highly recommend.
