They are a bit fragile be sure to buy the 2 year geek squad protection especially if you have kids who use them

They lasted about two years. If you are buying both sides even though you only need one note that the colors do not signify left or right. We only needed one and now have a red on both side. Expensive but nothing you can do about that. They never go on sale.

The biggest downside is that they’re more expensive than console controllers usually are.

Upgrading would be a good idea, but for what they are, they are good if you need to save space, but want extra controllers.
