We loaded up on controllers with the purchase of our switch. We bought some off brand ones that worked fine but so much better with the real deal. Recommend spending the additional money for reliability and integration with other accessories. The color match too is awesome.

I think they are expensive for such small joy cons but they are great build quality and easy to set up and use.
