The Joy Cons are of great quality, as everything switch related. Customer service was awesome as always.

Only thing is they are pricey but if you want tech you have to pay for it. Bought these as a Replacement pair for drifting set of joy cons.

Joycons have never been a solid choice for hard-core competitive gaming, but they're the best choice for comfortable couch gaming. Their ability to be used in each hand while not connected to a console is actually something I've never experienced before. It must be noted that joycons are prone to develop drifting, but nintendo will also fix them for free if the drifting developed naturally.
