It is definitely worth it because you get the extra 60 days and you get the member pricing so you get it lower and then also if you find out within 60 days that it is prices gone down and you can come in and get a price adjustment! Yeah, definitely 100% worth it if you want to save money and you wanna make sure that you’re getting the best thing for your buck!

I was sold on this as a non-renewable item not a subscription. The gentleman told me it will not renew by itself as it was not a subscription. I was also told if my item i purchased was cheaper i will get the difference for 60 days. All of these are not true this is a renewable subscription and you need to cancel if not you will be charged beware!! Also this subscription is supposed to give you price difference for 60 days after purchase, what they dont tell you is that you will get special subscriber prices on the same item and that price doesnt count toward the difference. This subscription is a total scam and a waste of money. Workers want the bonus and best buy wants the money those are the only people who benefit from this. Stay away!!

A month later, and I still don’t have a working washer and dryer. This was for a rental 3,000 miles away—now sitting empty—thanks to Best Buy’s chaos.
First delivery? No stacking kit. The rude, impatient crew bolted before I could even get customer service on the phone. Multiple canceled deliveries later, I learn Best Buy doesn’t even sell the kit—I had to get it from Amazon.
When they finally showed up, they dropped the old unit, wrecked my stairs, molding, and wall. Then they shoved the new set in, crushed the vent hose, and left a fire hazard behind.
Property damaged. Rent lost. Patience gone. Never again, Best Buy.

They were careful and worked very quickly. Although there was issues because I didn't receive my oven range, customer service helped resolve the issue and I will be getting my stove before Christmas. I love my new refrigerator and I can't wait to see my stove.

I love walking aroind for ideas. I am a member and that allows me to get an amazing discount as well as a better warranty. A must place to shop for all elextronics as well as appliances.

Remodeling and building an entertainment center around the TV. TV is great has all the features and more than i need. I have a sound system that I'm waiting on more equipment from best buy to further enhance my audio sound

This set was just right for our small place. The washer and dryer both are easy to use and holds small to large loads. We are pleased with the quality and the price.

I warned everyone not to buy this menbership, because it's a best buy scam, you pay $49.99 to get some benefits, but when you go to use it they don't allow you to make exchanges or returns without charging more for the service you already paid for, soo don't buy it. You’ll regret.

This program nearly paid for itself on its purchase day alone however make sure you ask more questions when joining from a skilled employee.
The employee I worked with made a point to bring up Black Friday price matching when I had to shop before the holidays. Knowing this was coming is why I signed up.
Instead they ONLY price match Best Buy prices during that window.
I got lucky today and two of my items finally dropped on their site likely due to manufacturer choices, however to begin with the prices weren't competitive and the fact that Black Friday Specials wouldn't be valid from other retailers was a shock vs how they solid it.
Also there was no price match button on my recent purchases so I had to take the extra step of calling to get the money back.
The in store sales rep also said it happens automatically when Best Buy discounts. From the chat I had today with the phone support. It does not. You have to be far more diligent to check on pricing during the match window. I am that kind of shopper but I could see some folks not being that in sync with checking back.
All and all, with the recent price match money back, it was worth the membership this year. It will depend on how much Best Buy shopping I plan on next year if I decide to renew.

Overall not a bad plan, if you purchase a lot of tech through Best Buy. Personally Best buy is where I always look and check 1st, the fact I have close by helps too, but honestly the exclusive deals and savings that go with membership make it well worth the $50, imho.
Only thing, My membership got tacked onto a purchase I had made by a floor Rep, then forgotten all about (or overlooked or unaware during purchase tbh, still not sure which, probably both) and when it auto renewed a year later at exactly 12a 0 dark 0 from Denver Colorado, my bank immediately flagged it as unauthorized, all while I slept. Not recognizing it before coffee I confirmed the rejection, and the transaction became completely mucked up..So, I let it rest for awhile, b
and never renewed even after finally realizing what it was, dug through my history and confirmed that I guess I did pay for it last year

Again, The plan itself is probably worth it you shop here a lot, but they should really send out reminders, bells and whistles, etc well in advance and change the auto-renew from 1 sec past midnight, as it comes off as trying to "slip one by" both the customer and obv the bank, too. I think in the end I didn't like the way it went down, the lack of transparency, and the fact it was apparently a sales comiss "tag-on" tb with. If they changed these practices, I'd probably sign back up and recommend more, but tbh, it left w a weird a taste, so just haven't.. I may reconsider if they offered again and posted frequent transparent reminders and alerts to our account and esp emails that I still get flooded with.. Subscriptions these days seem to count on ppl not exactly knowing they have subscriptions. Can you imagine making money creating simple apps off the fact ppl can't even keep track of their own subs and memberships bc we're so inundated?! The transparent Co's get my cont'd business. The "slip one by" Co's do not. Imo, a personal rule that wld serve others well too, and remind Co's integrity still matters if you want our business..
Again, I'd still "highly recommend" the My Best Buy Membership to techy friends & fam, especially protections that come with it..but then immediately warn them about the auto-renew process.
