Worth every penny. I broke my laptop, and the protection plan allowed to tobfully replace it with a brand new one. As far a device protection and service benefits go, this is a great service. My only negative is that the premium deals aren't very good (10$-20$ off expensive product). I barely notice a different in price compared to non "total-plus member" deals.

This team is the best I have ever encountered. I’ve been a Totaltech member for three years and Geek Squad for 5-years before that. I call them primarily to help me out with technical issue with either my laptop or my printer or my phone. They are polite, easy to talk with, and they in turn are easily understood making sure that you’re completely satisfied before ending the connection. We enjoyed a bonus this year when we bought a major appliance and found that because we we’re Totaltech members we enjoyed an additional discount as well as free delivery and set up & an additional year on the warranty.

The My Best Buy Total membership has been absolutely worth it for me. I have two tablets and a laptop under my plan, and paying about $180 a year gives me real peace of mind. When I broke my laptop, Geek Squad repaired it with no extra cost, saving me money and stress. I love knowing my devices are protected, and the customer support has always been fast and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this membership to anyone who wants reliable coverage and hassle-free repairs.

Best Buy use to have an insurance plan through geek squad, that was based on a percentage of the price, but with the Total membership, you pay for a full year of coverage on all products; also comes with various deals on products that are on sale, only to members. Apple items get the most love, because you get AppleCare on any devices you purchase. Instead of waiting to go through apple themselves, you simply bring it to best buy and they do the rest. Best way to say that Total is worth it, it’s the “Bestbuy” when it comes to shopping at bestbuy.

This is a first for me, I've never needed help with one of my devices but I finally reached the push point. After speaking with one of the service technicians I made the decision to purchase the service plan on a yearly basis. All my questions were answered and everything I thought was important plus many other items the techs suggested made this purchase well worth my time and money. The guys in Logan were super helpful and listened to my issues and solved my problems.

The staff was very helpful when i could not make up my mind on which camera i wanted, thankful she was there because i have a hard time figuring out what i want and i was leaving for Japan really soon. the camera i got was perfect and works really good..im already planning on another trip! the canon R8 is a awesome starter/ intermediate camera works really good in low light for night time street photography !

I am no match for hackers....i have limited knowledge in this technical field, and i have lost $100,000 to these parasites. My 1st mistake is not signing up with BestBuys Geek Squad. These Reps are Heavy Hitters, they sanitized my laptop and my phone, plus i recieved very important tips on how to avoid being hacked again. Trust Best Buy, invest in the Geek Squad today, i should have when i bought my laptop.

I recently purchased the Total Membership and I could not be happier! Doesn’t matter if I walk into the store or I call the geek squad by phone; they are always so helpful and knowledgeable. I recently made a phone call for assistance on my laptop that was recently repaired and the associate not only fixed my laptop and showed me how to find my documents, but she also assisted me with getting my copier to work correctly. I thought I needed a new copier/scanner/printer, but I had not installed it correctly. That’s all it was!!! I think Best Buy has some great people working for them and I’m glad that I purchased my Total Membership. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can get help when needed!!

I never always buy at Best Buy Port Arthur, so that I can get the Geek Squad help if I need it. I forgot to do this review at the time, but now that I just bought a new (expensive) laptop, I want to share my experience about why buying Total Tech is the smartest move you will ever make. Update to a recent purchase and why I highly recommend Total Tech: My new laptop, a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i, rates an A+, but it would not have without the Geek Squad, which was amazing! I cannot praise them enough for getting me through a difficult setup. Microsoft is being so intrusive now days that the average person is at their mercy to setup a device in a way that is acceptable and which successfully minimizes Microsoft's outrageously aggressive promotion of their products. Truly, as far as I am concerned, my Total Tech cost paid for itself with this one purchase because I more than likely would have returned this $2,000 laptop (hey, don't judge, it was the only model with the ports I needed) if it had not been for the professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, and patience of Jacob (Geek Squad Tech), Emily (Geek Squad Manager), and Michael (the employee who set me up with Jacob). They were all beyond amazing. I am a granny who has had a horrible few years (lost my husband after a horrendous 5 year struggle with aggressive dementia), and I struggle to cope with any stress these days. The Geek Squad employees at Port Arthur, Texas, just did everything they could to minimize my stress. I just cannot tell you how much I appreciated them. So, yes, the Lenovo Legion gets 5 stars, but it was because the Geek Squad gets 10. I HIGHLY recommend the Port Arthur Geek Squad and Best Buy Port Arthur, and, now that they did their magic to configure and customize my laptop, I am thrilled with it as well. Truly, getting Total Tech (for several years now, even while struggling to stay in my home while my husband was ill) was one of the best decisions I EVER made! Signed up for Best Buy Total Membership recently (few weeks ago). I have already used it twice. Easy to make apptmt for quick turnaround, and both contacts at Greece W Ridge Store in NYS (Riccardo & Remy) have been extremely helpful. They upgraded my Windows 10 to 11, suggested uninstalling a virus protector I was carrying, as it was bogging down my computer, and recommended WebRoot. I was already carrying Carbonite for backups. WebRoot was an easy addition and my computer is working much faster as well. I am very happy with the services to date.

I have rural internet and this HP computer works very well with Cookson Hills internet. The camera features are very easy to use. I use it in my bedroom in a small closet. My daughter set it up for me as I am 80 years old and do not undertstand all its abilities. She says its far more than I will ever use. However, I do like its easy. She made short cuts for my easy to use. So far I really like just for my own personal. I am learning to do projects I have not done before. I like to review some work on line. So far nothing I dislike. Sales person Matt in Tulsa OK on 44th was the most helpful of people I talked with. Kudos.

This is a great value. I had them do in my home computer repair and cleanup. Now I’m covered for a year for only a few dollars more than they service was going to cost from geek squad. They really cleanup and sped up my pc. Very polite and professional and explained every step to me so I could understand. Highly recommend!❤️

So far, I have been VERY HAPPY with the membership and everything that comes with it. Admittedly, I know almost NOTHING about computers, I've always been intimidated by, and weary of them, but we're now living in a world where I NEED one, and I need to learn how to use it. The GEEK SQUAD personnel have been instrumental in helping me to become proficient enough to use my laptop and to take full advantage of what it is capable of helping me with. And the security that comes with KNOWING that anything that goes wrong with the computer is covered by this plan is very reassuring. I highly recommend doing this.

Accidentally purchased total tech care , I actually went in to purchase a 16 inch MacBook prop which I accidentally purchased for shipping online . So when I called best buy customer service instead of canceling my order and the transaction taking 3 to 5 days to repost to my account they changed my order to pick up I went to the store and they didn't have it stock and available which at that point I called customer service back to see what my options were all of which included canceling so to my hesitation I did so only to come to the realization my cancellation turned into turned into a total tech purchase thank you for reading my rant

The overall experience would have been five stars if the sales rep had not misspelled my name on the account. It shows as Rod and my name is Rob. In any case Molly from the Geek Squad was excellent and deserves a five for her efforts and explanation of the new desktop. If you could change my name to Rob Svendsen that would be great!

I wanted to take these back on day one because the volume was low. I called my son and told him to drive with me back to Best Buy. He went into my computer settings and pressed volume up and now I’m loving these. Quality of sound and blocking out noise is superb.OMG it would have been the ultimate mistake yo take these back. Definitely will get my husband some of these for his bday in November.

What really makes it special is the peace of mind. The extended returns and extra protection options make me feel confident whenever I buy something, whether it’s a big purchase like a laptop or something small for the house. The customer service has always treated me with care, and I truly feel appreciated as a member.

While I didn't initially sign up for Total, it's a reality that technology break and needs repair. This can be an expensive consequence, and it is fortunate to have a membership that covers these costs. I ended up spending hundreds less than I would have otherwise just by signing up! The service was great, the Geek Squad was helpful, and my laptop is working better than ever! While I haven't yet had a chance to sample all the membership perks yet, I still recommend this service to anyone who has electronics they need to keep in working order.
