I Love the UAG case that is on my Surface Pro. However, the Dock Plug-in Will NOT Work with the UAG case Unless you cut Some Of the rubber of the case off. If the 2017 Surface Pro doesn't have a case then it works Perfectly. I Loved the UAG case so much that I opted to cut the rubber. Now I have use of multiple Ports, which helps Immensly when multitasking.

This is the only hub I've tried that fools a Surface into thinking you've connected a peripheral to the actual computer instead of hub which is a requirement of some devices. I'm very happy!!!

This item was purchased to replace another hub that did not even last a year. This one is supposed to fool a Surface Pro. So trust me if after a year it goes down I will be updating this review.
