Oh my gosh! This thing is amazing! I saw all of these great reviews for it and noticed it had a high star rating, so I decided to go in and buy one. BEST purchase ever! I have two Australian Shepherds and they are shedding like crazy, and my Hoover vacuum cannot seem to pick up their hairs off the carpet. THIS bad little machine does it like it's nothing, it packs the power and gets the job done! I am extremely satisfied with the product, and I never actually take the time to write online reviews of products, so that's saying something. Do yourself a favor and buy this vacuum, the price is super reasonable too!

I have black fabric upholstery in my car and two WHITE dogs! The short white hair needles its way into the fabric & is all but impossible to get out. I've tried tape, handheld powerbrush vacs, sponges, and regular furniture vac attachment. They all sort of worked, but left some of those white hairs behind. This vacuum got them all out! I'm amazed! My car seats look new! The cord is about 16 ft long and reaches from the socket in my garage to inside of my car, too. You do have to use elbow grease and rub back and forth sometimes, but the rubber end with suction does pull out those short hairs that have needled their way into the fabric. It's also just a bit heavy after you've been using it for a while. I ended up using both hands to hold it. I don't know how this vac works on general floor pickup, since I didn't use it for that and didn't buy it for that. It's not often that something actually does the job it's advertised to do, but this vac does. And at such a great price, too. I also like that it is electrical and not battery, so I don't have to charge it, and I think the battery ones lose strength as the charge wears out.

The design of this product was not very well thought out. It works great if you hold it at a 90 degree angle. Otherwise, the fan blows out the side of the unit which blows whatever you are trying to pick up all over the place. The fan should have vented out the back of the machine, not the side. If you hold it at the right angle, it will pick up very nicely. The cord is very long so you can easily do stairs or do a quick sweep of a room without having to get out your big vac. I have a cats that are now shedding and this works great on the couch to pick up their hair.

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, and thier hair is everywhere! I have been looking for a good attachment for my vaccuum cleaner since nothing that I currently had would get the pet hair off of the couch and chairs. Then I read about this vaccuum in my research and alot of people had had good experiences with it. I just got it home today and used it for the first time.....I love it! I have so much pet hair on the furniture and I have never been able to get off of there without going through a ton of those sticky rollers. The Bissell seems to get almost all of the hair off of the furniture, and I like that it plugs in so you don't have to worry about charging it (the cord is really long too). I would reccomend this product to people with pets.....it seems like a lifesaver!

I think I'm in love. Like all great loves, it's not perfect, but you accept it's flaws because overall it's more awesome than any other. Loves: -It picks up fur with great power in a small package. -The rubber teeth help comb the fur into a small pile, so what it didn't pick up on the first pass, you can easily see and vacuum up on the next pass. (I have two cats, so I don't expect anything to pick up all the fur in one pass.) -It's not cordless, so it doesn't start to lose power after 10 minutes of vacuuming. And, you can put it away in a closet, instead of having to leave it out in a room, plugged in to charge it. -Unlike the roller style vacs, you can move this up and down without turning it sideways, which is great for stairs. Flaws: -16 feet sounds plenty long for a cord, but I can't complete a set of stairs without moving to another outlet. -It is heavy. You need to use some arm power for the teeth to grab the hair. I end up using two hands. -It's not cordless, so it doesn't start to lose power after 10 minutes (yes, I listed this as a love, but some qualities are a blessing and a curse... now there's no excuse to stop vacuuming after the first set of stairs!). I've been with my Bissell about three months and I hope it's just the start of a long term relationship.

I have three cats and a bunny, all of whom shed like crazy. My upright Bissell is great for my rugs, but the carpeted stairs have been a problem with an upright. This hand vac is the perfect solution. I like that it has a power cord, as opposed to rechargeable battery, since I don't have sufficient outlets to dedicate one to a recharger hookup. The cord is very long, so I can pretty much do the whole stairway from one outlet. And it really picks up the cat hair and everything else! The only slightly negative thing is I tend to have a bit of a problem replacing the filter after I empty the collection area, but I'm sure it'll get easier as I use it more. Overall, I'm thrilled with this, and I have been extremely pleased with Bissell products in the past.

What a fabulous product! Gone are the days of rolling sheet after sheet of sticky pads to pick up the pet hair. This little vacuum de-hairs my couch in minutes where it used to take me much much longer with the sticky sheets. Even better, it picks up any little crumbs that collect in the cushions as well (hmm, though those may not be from the dog). I haven't tried the hard nozzle yet but think it will probably be useful for other small messes. I have a long haired dog who sheds considerably. I would highly recommend this vacuum for anyone with a tough pet hair problem. And for the price, you will definitely thank yourself!

With 4 cats, three of whom have long hair, I needed something FAST to keep up with the shed hair. No matter how much I brushed them, hair was everywhere and getting down with a lint brush on throw rugs and area rugs was getting old. I had a Hoover Flair stick vac that worked fine initially but died exactly oneday after the warranty expired with no satisfaction from the company so I needed something as effective but from another company. This does the trick nicely altho the filter needs to be cleaned out frequently which is easy to do. Wish it had a long handle attachment so I didn't have to get down to clean rugs but it does a very nice job.

This by far is the best vacuum to pick up pet hair. Definitely easy to use, powerful suction, and easy way to clean stairs and corners. Not cordless, but you wont get strong suction with a battery operated vacuum. I highly recommend pet owners to buy this hand vacuum.

Let me preface by stating the only reason we purchased this vac is to only clean our stairs. The flexible tip allowed me to get into those tight areas. Light weight and the cord was very long. I wish it came with more accessories. The best $30 purchase I made in a long time.

I was hesitant to purchase this vac because of the rubber attachment and lack of rollerhead, but boy was I proven wrong! This little vacuum is a animal hair magnet! It pulls those stubborn hairs that manage to needle themselves into fabric and makes cleaning up dirty messes a cinch. I love this product!

After reading the online reviews for this vacuum, I bought mine yesterday at Best Buy. A. Ma. Zing. That's all I can say. This is one of the few products on the market that actually does what its manufacturer claims it to do. I have two cats, a black and white tuxedo and a white angora; the angora has thick hair, sheds TERRIBLY and loves to sit on my living room furniture. I was constantly vacuuming and lint-rolling my sofas to keep the cat hair at bay, but now I won't have to do that anymore since I have this little vac. It actually lifts and suctions up the cat hair like nothing, not just sweeps it around like when I use the hand attachment from my upright vac. It worked so well I actually found myself going around the house looking for any stray hairs to vacuum, lol. For the people that say it's heavy: I disagree. It weighs about as much as a good size phone book but isn't terribly heavy. I think the folks who complained about hand fatigue may be cramming the vacuum down into the surface they're vacuuming; that causes hand fatigue quickly. If you just glide it over the surface it will still do the job of picking up the hair with no hand fatigue. ALL PET OWNERS SHOULD BUY THIS VACUUM. IT ACTUALLY PICKS UP CAT HAIR AND WORKS.

This little time saver is awesome! I have a black short/fine haired cat that likes to shed more than not. She also thinks she is a queen and loves to sleep on my bed and furniture (as most cats do), but getting her hair off of my bed was a nightmare for me and I had to work for hours. When I saw this for a reasonable price, I didn't think it would work as wonderfully as it does. The day I brought this home I had a ton of cat hair on my bed from the night before. I turned the machine on and with one swipe the can hair had been erased. It actually works with it's name. I did up the rest of my bed and it worked so well I couldn't even tell a cat had slept on the bed. I love this thing, it does better than a regular vacuum and / or tape and it does it fast!

I was skeptical about this product at first, let's face it it's so small to be that powerful. But since I ran out of options and don't really want to spend hundreds of dollars for a vacuum, I decided to give it a try (and it's Black Friday Sale too). When I bring it home today (like an hour ago) and give it a try, all I can say is ""oh my god this thing really works!!" So for the people out there that's still struggling about which vacuum to buy and if it works, this is the one for you!! But be aware that this IS a small hand-held vacuum so if you are looking for a vacuum for the entire house then this might not work that well. I only use it for my bed and my couch and it works perfectly!!

Love this vac! It has a rubber front that pulls the hair off the carpet/furniture and the powerful suction sucks the hair into the bagless container. Has a long cord and is electric so not recharging. Works great on carpeted stairs as well as sofas and chairs. I have 3 pets with long hair so I have lots of pet hair.

I really love this vac. I have two winnie dogs and a lab. We always have dog hair on the furniture. This vac is small enough to store easily but gets the job done. No vac will get every last hair but I was suprised the first time I used this vac and saw how much hair came off just one section of the sofa.

I have a chocolate couch that all 3 of my long haired cats love to hang out on. Using my upright is a pain because the tube isn't long enough plus it takes me an hour. I read the reviews others left and thought what the heck. Boy was I surprised! I had my couch completely clean in 5 minutes. I was also able to clean my cat platforms completely, too. I'm surprised something that small would be powerful to pick up all that cat hair. I wish I had bought this years ago.

I have a black cat and he leaves clumps of hair all over the house. He gets cat litter all over too. I was skeptical at first that it would take care of the mess. Guess what it did. I am very impressed with this machine. It saves me getting the regular upright vacuum out and lugging it around. The price was very reasonable and affordable. I like the fact that it is not cordless and has a dirt container that dumps very easy and cleanly. It's easy to get the rubber nozzle off and the hard nozzle on the machine. I will use this everyday and have zero pet hair.

I have 3 cats with fabric couches, so I needed something that would work extremely well. And this vacuum is great. It is light weight and works great. Picks up ALL the cat hair. I use it on all the fabric furniture. Love this product.

Bought as Christmas gift, works extremely well and does exactly what we wanted if for, doing stairs and little jobs around the house. We have three Maltese, they don't shed, but they do have hair. This little vacuum works great for their hair pick up.
