I have been so frustrated with the constant removal of the cat hair my three kitties leave all over my microfiber couch. I have tried many different products and after reading lots of reviews went ahead and purchased the Bissell. I just got it home and cannot speak for longevity or the filter issue people have mentioned, but in terms of getting cat hair off a couch, it can not be beat! I am so pleased.

My dog sheds a lot and this gets the job done fast. I use it on my bed and couch everyday. but the handle is a little uncomfortable, but it does have a long wire which helps out alot

This works great if you have the hand strength to keep moving it back and forth over the area that you need to clean. Since it doesnt have any external moving parts, its not easy to use. With that being said, it works great. a few passes over the area and it is filled with (in my case) cat hair. You do have to empty it often but that because it isnt very large.

I have purchased so many tools for picking up cat hair.....I just figured I would have live with the hair....But after reading the reviews on the Bissell Pet Hair eraser - I took a leap of faith.....it seemed impossible that such a little tool could do the big job.... I am so glad I did. This little vacuum does a big job. I have a micro fiber sofa - the cat hair becomes embedded in the fabric and has been virtually impossible to remove. I have purchased so many tools over the past few years - some that require refills - or can only be used a few times before sending to the trash.. Always - these tools have been moderately helpful - but never a great job. Nothing and I mean nothing - has ever removed the hair as completely....as this little Bissell. It was so quick and so complete I was blown away.... In my mind - I was going to live with cat hair on my furniture forever - not any more.... Unbelievable....I've already recommended to several friends....

I purchased this item because I have 2 huskys that leave hair EVERYWHERE! I normally have to use the full-size vaccum attachments to get it up (very troublesome moving that big thing around). I decided to try this product and it works great. It sucks up the hair even quicker than the full size vac attachments. It is very convienent since I don't have to worry about short vaccum hoses and the rubber head works great on all my fabric surfaces (suede, carpet, blankets etc.)

I bought this mini vac based upon the high reviews it was given. I was disappointed that it was not cordless, but it works very well, especially picking up cat hair off of furniture (main reason I bought it). However, after 3 weeks of use, the motor has started to make a funny high pitched noise and I am afraid it is on its last leg already. I will wait and see . . . .

For a corded hand vac, it has good suction. But the air flow out the sides just blows half the stuff away.

This is a great hand-held vacuum. I have a Dyson animal vacuum cleaner and this Bissell is much easier and does a great job, if not better than the Dyson. I use the Bissell to vacuum the couch to pick up cat hair.

With two cats and two dogs, this Bissell Hand-Vac does a great job. It's built like a tank and works very good. I would recommend this hand-vac for use anywhere you need a small powerful hand-vac.

I was very impressed by the quality of this little unit. I recently became a new pet owner and boy the fur was all over the place and this little unit was just the answer to all my problems. Great suctions, passed the wife test, she liked it and boy is that hard to do.

SUPER STRONG! PULLS HAIR IN ONE STROKE! have a white cat, and a brown sofa. bad mix. got this to clean the sofa and its brand new after a few swipes. this vacuum is the most powerful little handheld ive ever had , wide suction - and a head that grabs and pulls the hair out. A++++

This small vacuum is the best out there. I bought it thinking it would not work because of its size but I was wrong. It is great and the amount of hair it can store is a lot. The filter is still going strong even after months of use.

This product does a great job of removing pet hair from my sofa, chairs, stairs, and other areas. I have tried other hand held vacuums and they don't even come close. I am so glad I purchased this product. It allows me to get my house cleaner, faster.

I bought the pet hair hand vac to clean my stairs. It works great! No problems!

The suction on this hand held vacumn is very good, the only thing I wish it had was an attaching hose with tools, then it would be perfect.

I have an upright Bissell Vac and now the pet hair eraser, they work so well with pet hair, they are great! A must own for pet owners!

Picks up everything. I use it on my bedspread, my rugs, chairs, cushions and even hardwood floors. It works excellent on all surfaces. This little guy has made cleaning soooo much easier. My cat usually hates vacuums, but the noise of this one doesn't even make him flinch. Maybe because the vacuum is smaller than he is.

good product for the money. cleans more than dogs !!! clean your car/truck/boat. stairs,etc.

Works wonders! A little on the noisy side but does exactly what it is supposed to do - clean up pet hair!!
