    im giving this a 2 because i paid for a year subscription and they only gave me 6 months and I thought it actually was a 6 month subscription until i happen to go through my purchases and seen that this was a year subscription and i purchased June 2025 which means it shouldnt expire until June 2026 so i am contacting them about this and i have been opn hold now for 45min

    I decided to switch from another anti-virus/internet security program that I had been using for probably 10 years without any problem. It seemed like Bitdefender offered more protection. Perhaps it does, but it has caused countless problems for me. First, it's not compatible with ChatGPT-- occasionally the AI's responses will not show up because Bitdefender interferes with how ChatGPT displays its responses (ask ChatGPT about this). It's a pain to fix. Then Bitdefender is constantly popping up notifications to tell you about things it's "blocking", with no way to turn those off. Finally, the firewall protection blocks me from easily using the printers in my office. I have to turn off the firewall protection every time I go into the office. I never had any of these problems with my old software. Once my subscription is up, I won't be renewing.
