I'm just a typical user, so I have no way of knowing how good this really is at protecting my computer. BUT, I looked at several 'professional' reviews and most rank this product at or near the top. So...apparently it's a good bet. NOW...in real life use....it does like to pop up and give many warnings about potentially dangerous websites and ask if you want to continue. This happens on many sites that I have used for years with not problem (eg banking, amazon, clubs, etc). So I find that overly intrusive, but you can just click 'proceed anyway'. Still it's annoying. My former Webroot did not do that. In summary....I expect this works well as the pro's have reported but DO be ready for lots of annoying warning pop up boxes. That's why I only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

I have been using Bitdefender for about two years now and it has been a great experience. It is silent when running on the background and it simply does the job by keeping you protected while surfing on the web. Thus, when I saw the BestBuy deal on this product I had to get it.

This is my first-time using Bitdefender. I had been using another for years, I took computer to the and needed security program They installed yet another. This year I decided to try Bitdefender so far, I like. I am 76 years and I installed always had someone else do my installs.

I was going to get MalwareBytes to protect my computer. However, this program has both antimalware and antivirus protection. The program is way better than the antivirus program that comes with Windows. The protection that this program offers is very comprehensive. I love that it automatically uses different profiles (gaming, working, public wi-fi) depending on where I am and what I am doing on my computer. It even has a battery mode function that save battery life by limiting background activity. When I am gaming, it boosts the device performance by limiting background activity and eliminating interruptions. Additional features that I often use are the password manager, anti-tracker, and file shredder. The password manager securely stores my passwords for all my accounts so I don't have to memorize all the different passwords that I use. The anti-tracker automatically blocks web trackers from collecting my data. It also blocks any suspicious connections. Last but not least, the file shredder is a crucial feature for me since I work with a lot of sensitive data. I thought that I would need to buy an additional program to securely delete data and not leave any traces behind. But this feature comes with Bitdefender and the whole package only cost me $40 for 2 years. This is a great sale!

Works well, great notifications, easy to use, and protects well. I have used other products before I still like the other products but I need more security and a VPN (VPN is extra but it is good). Bitdefender takes some getting used to but does what it is supposed to and keeps you safe. I also consulted reviews across the web to see what was better for my needs and this product was it for me.

I have used this program for the past three years and then this purchase will be five. This is the best security I have found and I have used many. It operates in the background with no interruption, never know it is there. I very seldom find a virus when doing scans. Best Buy had the best price I found this year, download was flawless.

Been a Bitdefender subscribe for 8 years and very satisfied with the level of protection it provides. It's not as invasive as other anti-malware anti-virus software, but I am confiden that that every device is installed on is being protected. I frequently review the quarantine list and the alert list and can see everything that is being flagged. Haven't considered switching to a different product and doing that I will do long as Bitdefender is available on the market.

Great virusware program. Switched from Kaspersky because of invasion of Ukraine. Actually like it more and easy to use. Only thing to know is that it now uses Bitdefender Central IP for everything. Can't just put code into old version to update. Otherwise highly recommend!

good pruduct to have on your computer and to make sure your computer is virus free just as a caution when the product is about to expire to enter in a new code but warning for some reason their system charges you for the renewal even if you purchesed a key from here if they charge you contact their support and they will fix the issue

I have used a few Brand names Anti-Virus software but didn't like. Those Anti-Virus software did not automatically update or block potential trackers. Bidefender is easy to use and transparent. It blocks trackers and automatically update.

I have found that Bitdefender is by far the best protection you can buy. Easy to install Easy to use. I am thrilled with this product. Nice interface to work from and notifies you of any issues. Notifies you and ask do you want to use VPN for safety issues when making purchases etc.

Very easy to implement and, once running in the background, has strong filtering of internet traffic. I trust it completely.

I have been using Bitdefender Total Security for 2 years and my computer has been protected since then, with no issues. The software also offers safe checkout when you make purchases online and basic computer clean-up utilities. Just renewed my subscription.

Decided to purchase after one year without it. Once it scanned our computers, was able to find things that Defender probably missed. Great price for a two year subscription.

Been using this product for a few years now. Was referred to me by the Best Buy staff. I haven't had a virus ever since using it so I like it. I also like linking my laptops and cellphones with one anti virus program.
