This 30th anniversary Blu-Ray release of Blade Runner is a definite must buy. It is a classic movie that stands the test of time and it is awesome to be able to have both The Final Cut and the Original version in one package. The included graphics and photos just adds an added and welcomed dimension to an already awesome package.

Brilliant and beautiful sci-fi masterpiece. One of the most unique looking movies ever made. Absorbing atmosphere and haunting music. Ridley Scott's masterful direction ensures this is sci-fi for adults which is very rare in cinema. This re-issue on bluray is very nicely packaged. It comes in a hardcover "book" type of case with a few pages of sketches and artwork from the production. However that is the ONLY new feature of this 30th anniversary release. Which is not bad because the 2007 release was LOADED with everything you could possibly need to know about this movie, and all those features DO carry over to this release, even the ones that are not explicitly listed on the package. Because the imagery is so dark and hazy throughout, I didn't see a huge difference from my DVD edition. But at the time I bought this 4-disc blu-ray pack it was only $13.99 and I didn't have it on blu-ray at all, so it was worth it for me. So if you only have the single disc edition then the loads of features included here make it worth an upgrade. If you only have it on DVD then the blu-ray is somewhat worth the upgrade, although by its nature this particular film is always going to look only slightly better in HD. But if you already have the multi-disc 2007 edition blu-rays, then I would not bother buying this again just for the few pages of artwork and packaging.

I always loved Blade Runner; always ahead of it's time, not only in visuals & story, but the techniques used to make this movie. I do prefer the final cut; it makes your mind work more than the cut with Harrison Ford's narrative. The more work your brain does ,the more you are involved with the movie...and that's a good thing! I liked all the special features which showed all the brainpower, very hard work and politics that are involved in movie making. No wonder Ridley Scott has a company called "Scott Free". Somethings are just better off when left to the directors & not the people who only care about the $$$. It may not always be a joyride for the actors, but that's why they get the big bucks. Any sci fi fans or fans of anything futuristic can't help but appreciate what this movie has accomplished in so many ways. Even those fans of the movie "Serenity" can see many "Blade Runner" moments. That's just another good sci-fi/futuristic movie that just popped into my head 1st...but the numbers of movies & tv shows are endless that have a "Blade Runner" moment or 2 in them. The character types, look & style, the stories in this movie just keep being reinvented & reinvented. Just one more example was the opening Earth city scenes in the director's extended cut of "Avatar". Another wonderful movie. A lot can be said with that example when you think of Ridley Scott making the 1st "Alien" movie & James Cameron making "Aliens". I invite you to enjoy this experience on Blu Ray.

If you were to search Harrison Ford's best roles, this typically will come up as the top answer. Let me reassure you, it has every right to. This movie is dazzling in practically every way. First of all, it's Ridley Scott so that should be a forewarning already. In this set, you get three discs and some pages of sketches from the development of the movie (if the case isn't already cool enough for you). Three versions of the film included: the theatrical, director's cut, and the final cut (the actual director's cut). The first two are quite similar while the final cut is it's own masterpiece. All I can say is, if you like Alien or simply Ridley Scott and the guy who plays Indiana Jones, you will be overjoyed with this. The price is great for a special edition of this movie anyway.

I am glad I waited for this release of Blade Runner. I love digibooks and this set has all one could want.....all the various cuts of the film on 2 discs, including the Final cut, Director's cut, Theatrical cut & International Theatrical cut, PLUS tons of extras on a 3rd blu-ray disc The digibook is all artwork and images - no text. I wish there was some historical/making-of-type notes included, etc. about the film, but at the end of the day, I can't really complain. Oh yeah, and at it's current pricing, it's a bargain!

The Blade Runner digibook is a very comprehensive set featuring multiple versions of the movie, including the original theatrical (voiceover narrated) version and Ridley Scott's 'final' director's cut. The picture and sound are great. The extras, including a documentary and informative director's commentary, are great. The book itself is just ok, some new information but not as interesting as other digibooks I've bought. All in all tremendous amount of content at a great value. Highly recommended

This set is a great affordable set of a great movie. A lot less expensive than the previous 5 disc version that includes all five feature film versions – The Final Cut, ‘92 Director’s Cut, Domestic and International Theatrical versions and the rare Work Print. A Great digibook with 5 versions of Blade Runner, what more could you ask for.

Blade Runner is, quite simply, the greatest science fiction film of all time and arguable one of the greatest films of all time, period. If you have not seen it you NEED to watch it now. This version contains not only the original theatrical release but also the director's cut AND final cut versions of the film. This is a bargain at $14.99. Definitely worth adding to your movie collection.

I saw this film in its initial theatrical release. It was a breathtaking experience. The film draws you into a world of its own. This is a sci-fi classic that ranks with the best. In sheer scope and audacity, it has few peers. A film noir set in the future, drenched with atmosphere and expectation and the unexpected. The Blu-ray simply defines the format delivering a visual and aural immersive experience.

One of the greatest films ever made. Arguably Ridley's greatest work. Based on the novel "Do Electric Sheep Dream of Androids", an incredibly thought provoking plot that genuinely addresses something our world/society will have to come to terms with someday if not already. Ridley's vision of this future is also the foundation for many videogames and other films in recent times. Harrison Ford, portrays brilliantly, a character who is opened to a world he thought he already understood. It is hard to say this is a classic as this film is more timeless. With an announced sequel, we can only hope the foundations and originality can be done justice.

Fantastic movie, which does take some time to get started but once you understand what is going on easy to get hooked. I'll have to check out how different each of the releases included in this are but the art booklet alone is fantastic.

One of the best Science Fiction films ever!!!!! This edition gives fans several versions of the classic to watch. Harrison Ford long before he made terrible movies like Random Hearts and Firewall.

Blade runner's blu-ray is an excellent presentation of a great film.. The audio and video is high quality. And if one is a fan of the film and the digibook format - picking this one up is a no brainer.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband, who is a big fan of Blade Runner. He loved it! The many different cuts of the film are included, along with a lot of great extras.

Same great movie with different endings. After watching this over the years countless times I can now watch it in HD without all that red mess in some sceens.

My dad has talked about this movie for years. I went in expecting a action packed futuristic movie. It's not quite that but very good none the less

I had the movie on VHS and replaced it with this. It's old but still entertaining, I watched it with my teen aged son and he enjoyed it as well.

Best Buy had a great deal for this recently, so I just had to get it to complete my collection with one of the best Sci Fi movies ever made!

Great Sci-Fi, Harrison Ford, along with 3 versions of the film in Blu-Ray. A must have for anyone who is a Ford fan or loves Sci-Fi.
