The internet speed requirements for these devices are only a minimum upload speed of 2Mbps, which is available in most home internet service providers. If yours does not reach this, it may affect your experience some. As for the options to store video clips, you have a cloud storage option included with the Blink subscription plan. You could also purchase a Sync Module XR separately that extends the range of your outdoor cameras and comes equipped with a microSD card slot that you could use to store videos on locally. Battery life not as advertised

And a month later the Battery died for this one too. And when I called to see the options I was told I have to pay for Best Buy to fix the item. Not fear

Also I’m disabled and can’t be on ladders to fix my cameras and floodlights. Customer service was going to send new batteries but did not.

The Blink app sends a high usage warning when batteries drain faster than usual. This can happen if the camera detects motion a lot, if you use the Live View feature often, or if there are many false alerts for motion. To help your batteries last longer, try moving the camera to a different spot, making the motion clips shorter, using Live View less, lowering the sensitivity, setting up Activity Zones, or only turning on the camera when you really need it. Also very important is to make sure to use fresh, high-quality lithium AA batteries, as alkaline or rechargeable batteries will also cause issues with battery life. Unable to use and no Blink support

Have messaged the blink company multiple times and keep getting the same message back to unplug our internet (which i have done several times). I cannot get them to support the item and will likely retun it. Horrible customer service from Blink.

Within two days, one of them went offline, so we paid someone to climb the ladder and replace the batteries. Within a week, two of them went offline again. Called Blink and they suggested buying a wi-if extender. We purchased that and had it installed and within a week, two of the cameras are again offline.

The cameras only record when it wants to record. Didn't even detect the from people that are less than 10 feet away. Worst buy in security cameras and decision for going with blink brand. I'm currently in the process of returning and this garbage and looking for something more reliable.

In less than a month - two weeks to be exact, one camera went offline, I went through everything the app ask you to do in cases like this, including taking batteries off! There is when I noticed batteries were steamy hot! But they advertise these batteries will last 2 years and they are supposed to take every climate. They lied!

Live feed became a hassle to access. I have a dedicated sync module for each camera to eliminate distance problems, and a very strong WiFi signal to each sync module. I’ve done the reset song and dance three times and the system still doesn’t perform. I’m done.
