Had this in my entry and I couldn’t even read the insignia on a solicitors jacket from 3’. Let alone the car prowler 30’ away. Then after the trial period ended the camera is absolutely useless. That should have been included in the description. 15 day return for this solidifies why I don’t buy from Amazon or Best Buy very often. Another lost customer.

We want to clarify that live view and motion alerts are automatically available on the Blink Mini at no additional cost, even after the trial period ends. The Blink Subscription Plan is an optional add-on that unlocks advanced features such as cloud video storage and clip saving. If you would like to save video clips without a subscription, you can do so locally at no recurring fee using the Sync Module 2 with a USB flash drive or the Sync Module XR with an SD card (both sold separately). Regarding image clarity, the Blink Mini captures 1080p HD video, and if you are experiencing difficulty seeing fine details, we recommend checking that the camera lens is clean and unobstructed, and that the camera is positioned at an optimal angle and distance for your entry area. The image is average but adequate for basic observation. I had hoped to use it to track activity over a period of time, but it times out after a few minutes. You must continually restart to continue to observe. I am using it with an Amazon Echo Show 5. It was easy to set up, and works well with this box.
