The videos are not time stamped, it will only record short clips and there is a minimum cool-down of 10 seconds between each recording. It's okay as an entry camera, but because of the recording cool-down, it misses _a lot_ of activity and isn't useful for continuous area monitoring.

These are CHEAP, which is great. Buy them when they’re on sale for sure. The quality is okay, the microphone kind of sucks, it’s a little bigger than the pictures make them out to be, and the blink app is horrendous. But they cost less than a decent dinner, and do their job.

So to look at video it would cost $12 pet month! I'm extremely disappointed! So do not buy this product if you wanna be able to view intruders because unless you're on your app at the time of recording you can't see it! Horrible!! Too bad it's too late to return

Sometimes they just go off constantly and nothing I can tell is moving around when I have them armed while on vacation. I haven't done much troubleshooting. Plus if you want them to move 360, you'll have to buy the adapter which works well.

Unfortunately, is useless unless you subscribed to their monthly paid plan. Having physical limitations, I needed them to see when deliveries or rides have arrived which may be a minute or an hour after I open the app to monitor it. Free account times out after 1 minute. Does ask if you want to continue viewing but that times out after 10 seconds. Not practical for most users, and clearly annoys a user into having to go to a paid plan. Product woudl be 5 stars if you have a paid plan, but is only 1 star if you don't.

Most smart security cameras from most brands do require a subscription typically in order to utilize cloud storage for the device to record videos for later viewing. We keep the cost of this camera extremely competitive to maintain the value it offers while keeping the subscription optional for people who want to take advantage of this as well as additional premium features that come along with the subscription. Blink does sell a Sync Module that you could use with a USB flash drive (sold separately) in order to be able to store videos locally and not require the subscription for viewing recorded events.
