Relative recently got a new pup, so I bought this as a Christmas gift so she could keep tabs on her pooch while she’s at work/ away. Wasn’t sure if it would end up getting much use but it’s been getting daily use for months now. Easy to set up + portable (theirs gets brought on vacations) and good picture quality. Inexpensive and the peace of mind it brings is priceless. Very happy with my purchase.

We use this to check in on my dog whenever we have to leave the house so we only connect it when we’re about to leave. It was very easy to setup. However, sometimes it does take a bit longer for the camera to go into live view right after connecting it to power. We are able to turn the camera in any direction and can talk through it.

The camera comes separate from the base in the box. You just have to snap it to the base. Setup is easy and on the app it has directional buttons, so you can view in every direction. Works great.

The unit is good at motion detection and two-way audio. It was almost a 3 star. I'm disappointed in jumpy rotation and the pixelation after very little zoom even in a small room. Probably go with the 2k next time without the pan-tilt.

I can’t emphasize enough the importance of the rotating features, steadily and surely marking every movement- we never miss a notification with our personalized sensitivity sensors to movement. Not only can I sleep sound knowing my family is safe, but my camera is too! (Get the protection plan, I promise it’s worth it).
