I recently purchased the Blink Mini Pan Tilt Indoor Wired 1080p Security Camera in White and I am absolutely thrilled with it! The camera is so easy to set up and use, and the picture quality is crystal clear. I love that I can pan and tilt the camera remotely to get a better view of my home, and the motion detection feature has already helped me catch a few unexpected visitors (aka my curious cat!). The white color is sleek and modern, and the compact design makes it easy to place anywhere. Best of all, the wired connection gives me peace of mind knowing that my footage is secure and won't be interrupted by WiFi drops. Overall, I highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality indoor security camera!

This is a great indoor, small camera to use. Whether you want to use it for monitoring pets, your kids, or for security purposes, I would recommend it especially at this price. From of all, the video quality isn't bad. It's HD at 1080p and does an adequate job. Image could be sharper, but it's enough that you can discern what the camera captures. The same can be said for its night vision, which is okay, but nothing great. Everything is controlled through the Blink app. So if for some reason you lack a smartphone, take note as this camera isn't for you. Thankfully, the app makes it easy to set up and use the camera. The camera send you notification when it spots movement. Used with the tilt, you can have it pan from side to side. Unfortunately, there's no motion tracking if it detects movement from an object. You can also manually adjust the tilt using the app if you want to keep the camera at a static position. This camera can also be mounted on a wall, but keep in mind that requires a separate hardware purchase. Should be mentioned that it does have a microphone feature so you can speak through it using the app. Sound is also recorded too when motion triggers the camera to record.

So far this is the coolest camera in my house. I have several different cameras from many different "ecosystems". This is the first Blink camera that I have installed. I am actually running out of areas to place them. However, for this full motion camera, I have the perfect spot. I will be placing this camera in my back room addition. That room is where my dogs live and where we typically have our foster dogs in a pen. This camera will allow us to monitor the dogs using it's full viewing capabilities. The Blink camera is the standard mini camera that is very easy to setup. You install the app, scan the QR code, connect to your internet and you are good to go. It is actually one of the easier cameras to setup. Then, in the app, you select add new device and the rotating base is an option. You plug in the base and it discovers it pretty fast and adds it to your account. Once you are up and running you get to enjoy all of the features of the camera/base setup. It is super cool! Once you are in the app you can select the small touch remote that lets you rotate the camera fully. It rotates up and down, then the base rotates 360 degrees. There is a stop point for the base's rotation, it will not just rotate forever for what its worth. It does cover 360 degrees though. The camera is very clear and resolution is very nice. I tested it in my dim living room and the display was nice and clear, then I rotated it backwards and it faced a dark half of the room and immediately converted to night vision mode. I thought that this was exceptional. The only thing I would recommend is to be careful where you first place the camera and base when you first power it on. It will auto calibrate itself by rotating through it's full array of articulation. I originally placed it on top of my tower speaker with an up facing Atmos speaker and the camera knocked itself off during it's auto calibration. It did recover and works perfect and continues to do so as of writing this review. I think that the addition of this camera and base is an easy choice for anyone wanting to add a highly functional camera to your home's security. It not only allows you to have a security camera, but it lets you survey an entire room with the ease of the app. The app works great and the camera is extremely responsive. I do highly recommend this camera and base to everyone.

This is a compact HD indoor camera that has the capacity to pan and zoom with the included stand, both powered from a single USB micro cable. Installation This was a smooth and easy process. As I was new to the Blink/Ring/Alexa system, I needed to download the iOS app. Everything was without a glitch from there on. The set up asked for me to scan the Q code on the back of the camera, and then walked me through the WiFi linkage. The motorized pan and tilt base, is the first landing spot for the USB cable, and a short jumper from the base travels to the actual camera. The installed base that comes with the Blink mini camera just pulls straight off, although I spent a bit of time looking for a release button or similar, so not to break or damage the plastic. But with a firm tug directly out from the camera base, the original static base popped off and the motorized base snapped easily in place. The app recognized the camera immediately and automatically a firmware update installed. In the app there is an option to calibrate the pan/tilt which runs the camera through the full range of its field of view: 350º horizontally and 120º vertically, to cover virtually all of the room if placed along one wall. The motor moving the camera is very quiet, making a motorized noice at the phone speaker, but almost silent at the camera end of things The movement is not automatic, however. The pan action will not follow an object in motion, such as a person walking in front of the camera. The pan and tilt action occurs under the manual control of the owner, while in the “Live View” mode watching the camera display on your phone or tablet. Microphone and speaker Voices and noise is recorded whenever there is motion that has activated the video recording. You could use the intercom feature to speak to your pets, the baby fussing in the nursery, or tighten a burglar to let them know you are watching their actions and have called the Police. Storage and review of images Clips are stored either remotely (via a subscription plan) or within your premises using a Sync Module, which saves still pictures (not video clips) onto a USB drive (not a memory card, like a SD card commonly used in digital cameras). The Sync Module is an on site way to avoid a monthly cloud storage fee, especially if you have privacy concerns about Cloud storage of your info. However, the Sync Module should be positioned remote from the cameras (it can handle data from 10 separate cameras, but only one at a time). If there is a security break in to your house, a secure place for the Sync Module would be crucial, so they don’t abscond with your only record of the images. I haven’t yet done the mental calculations of the subscription plans to make my decision about whether and which plan to obtain. I do not have the Sync Module, and am new to the Blink/Ring/Alexa options. I would read the reviews here and on Amazon from other users to decide which storage option is best for your needs. For now, I have a free trial of cloud storage, while I am figuring out the best route for me. I bought a second Blink mini camera, to replace the soon to be withdrawn Amazon Cloud Cam, which I got when the Amazon Key delivery option was rolled out. So the Blink mini will reside in my garage, so that I can see the footage when there is a garage door activation by Amazon when we have a package delivered inside the garage (when we know we will be away on vacation) to avoid the “Porch Pirates”. Where to buy Obviously, this is an Amazon manufactured product. However, BestBuy gives me Membership points convertible into gift cards, so in essence a 5% discount on the retail cost.

We bought this camera to monitor our cats when we are away and it has worked tremendously. Not only has it been our eyes as well as ears but its also been our mouthpiece. Once you set it up, the camera catches all motion around it. No extra light needed. The setup is sumple as well. Connect to wifi, then your account and you're good to go.

The Blink Mini Pan-Tilt Camera is basically a Blink Mini Camera with a Pan-Tilt mount to which it attaches. The video quality is HD and the image is good and clear. The rest of this review will mostly concern the Pan-Tilt Mount. The Pan-Tit works fine and the motor is relatively quiet in operation. Set up was easy using the Blink app. The app allows all the features of the Blink Mini camera to view and change settings. The Pan-Tilt settings only allow calibration. This us where the new features need to be added since this accessory has great potential. There needs to be settings to create preset positions for the pan-tilt to move so you can just select one of four or more preset areas to quickly view. There also needs to be an option for motion tracking since this camera should have that capability. Motion tracking would allow the pan-tilt to start moving with the motion it senses so a person or pet is automatically followed by the camera on the recording or livestream. This is a powerful feature that’s available in other security cameras but the tilt feature would allow even more areas of a room to be automatically monitored including floor and ceiling. Pet owners will love this camera system for monitoring their pets while away and from work. Overall a great and affordable camera with the added capability to move 360 degrees as well as up and down.

Extreamly easy to use and set up. However the sound is not the best on the receiving end. I set it up one day in another room and the wind was making the sound so loud. However, I use just to keep an eye on the inside of the house during vacation trips and is super easy to handle. It has a nice “action’ mode that will turn on when there is motion. I also love that it moves all over the room. That kept me happy watching the house with the ability to move around the entire space.

I recently had the opportunity to test and evaluate an indoor camera, and I must say that it has greatly impressed me with its performance and features. The camera, designed specifically for indoor use, offers exceptional functionality and ensures enhanced security for your home or office. Here is my brief review: The camera's compact and sleek design seamlessly blends into any indoor environment, making it a discreet surveillance solution. The setup process was hassle-free, thanks to its user-friendly interface and clear instructions. Within minutes, I had the camera up and running, ready to monitor my space. One of the standout features of this indoor camera is its high-definition video quality. The camera captures crystal-clear footage, allowing you to observe every detail with precision. Whether it's monitoring your children, pets, or keeping an eye on your belongings, the camera's sharp imagery ensures you won't miss a thing. Another notable aspect is its wide viewing angle, which provides excellent coverage of the entire room. This feature eliminates blind spots, giving you comprehensive surveillance and peace of mind. I found this particularly useful as I could monitor multiple areas from a single camera placement. The camera's motion detection capabilities are top-notch. It intelligently detects and alerts you to any movement within its range, ensuring prompt notifications to your connected devices. The sensitivity settings can be customized to suit your preferences, minimizing false alarms without compromising on security. Additionally, the camera incorporates night vision technology, allowing for round-the-clock monitoring. The infrared LEDs provide clear visibility even in low-light conditions, maintaining surveillance efficiency during the night or in dimly lit rooms. Furthermore, the camera seamlessly integrates with your smartphone or tablet, enabling remote access from anywhere. With a dedicated mobile app, you can view the camera's live feed, playback recorded footage, and adjust settings effortlessly. This convenience offers peace of mind, knowing that you can monitor your space even when you're away. In terms of reliability, the camera performed admirably during my testing. It exhibited stable connectivity, and the video streaming was consistently smooth without any significant lag or interruptions. The build quality is robust, and the camera feels durable, promising longevity and reliability over time. In conclusion, this indoor camera delivers on its promise of providing enhanced security and peace of mind. With its high-definition video quality, wide viewing angle, motion detection, night vision capabilities, and remote accessibility, it ticks all the right boxes. Whether you want to keep an eye on your loved ones or safeguard your property, this indoor camera proves to be a valuable surveillance solution. Please note that specific camera models and features may vary. It's recommended to research and compare different options based on your specific needs before making a purchase.

The Blink Mini Pan Tilt gets the job done for indoor monitoring, but it’s not without its quirks. Pros: • Picture Quality: The 1080p resolution is clear, especially for an indoor camera in this price range. • Pan and Tilt Features: The ability to remotely adjust the view is a big plus and works smoothly most of the time. • Compact Design: It’s small and fits anywhere without being intrusive. Cons: • Subscription Requirement: Some features, like cloud storage, require a subscription, which isn’t ideal for a budget-conscious purchase. • Connection Lag: There’s a slight delay when accessing the live feed remotely. • Wired Only: While I knew this going in, having to find an outlet near the placement is occasionally inconvenient. Overall, it’s a solid camera for basic monitoring needs. If you’re okay with the subscription model and minor delays, it’s a great buy.
